11:19 I think this one more like space-time control than illusion. Remember in the anime where Ghidorah first attack that space ship and one of the operator girls said that the Bilsaldo (one of the alien races name I think) has been dead since few minutes prior despite them receiving life video report of their energy generator going out of control before it exploded, and the life signs reading on their ship has long gone even though they're still alive reading it before their space ship destroyed. That look like a reference to those 2 scenes, because it look like Ghidorah summoned Godzilla earth that roared and immediately used his particle beam right after their first meeting from the past few minutes. That just my opinion.
Ok so let me get this straight. Toho, a company that makes movies with a budget around 10 to 20 million dollars can't make a final fight where they use the whole potential of Anime and instead let those two do stand around for 30 minutes. But someone with no budget, probably having a full time job and so on can create this fucking masterpiece with fucking MMD!!?? Amazing. Good job. Man.
“The largest incarnations fight it out” *Literally three space noodles wrapped around a tree shaped like a dinosaur* *LITERALLY THE ENTIRE PLOT BEING CENTERED AROUND A TELEPATHIC ALIEN* *LITERALLY THE PROTAGONIST HAVING S*X THEN COMMITING KAMIKAZE ON A TREE SHAPED LIKE A DINOSAUR*
The only thing Ghidorah ever did in the anime was just suck Godzilla off until Haruo broke the connection between Metphies and Ghidorah. And then here we have Ghidorah being the absolute badass of badasses and actually torturing Godzilla, until Mothra has to come in and give Godzilla a powerup that makes Burning Godzilla '95 look silly. That's really saying something when an MMD animation does times as better than an actual movie.
@@BluntMatcheteAstartes345fghew But the fact that someone with not even a *fraction* of Toho's budget and resources can make this when they [Toho] should be able to make the best Godzilla vs Ghidorah battle in the collective multiverse really sends conflicting messages. IKR? That Planet Eater Movie final fight was epic but not enough to make me feel hyped, and I didn't even see full body of Ghidorah in that movie only the 3 heads get the actions. After watching that I feels like I was robbed.
I think it's because their work is devalued, when making their animations in miku miku dance most people think it's going to be a bad animation and leave, but since everyone wanted to see a Godzilla Earth vs Ghidora fight they didn't care if It was made in MMD, not in vain this animation has 8 million views.
I love how Ghidorah is actually bending the universe around him, like how he seems bigger from Godzilla's perspectives that's a really good detail, I love this man.
@@bayonetonazero2535 it doesn't seem like he's toying with godzilla exactly, just trying to bring godzilla down and using increasing means as he manages to stand his ground. The first part of the encounter, godzilla's shield manages to repel his initialy atatcks, so he breaks down the barrier. Buncha tests come next, throwing rocks, point black attacks, dropping Godzilla from height, and ending with him sending the atomic beams from the past, into the future which finally do enough damage to kill him.
I'd still like to have an explanation on Ghidorahs glass barrier In the beginning when Godzilla shot his atomic breath at Ghidorahs torso it looked like it got absorbed or send away But in the end Godzilla manages to shoot through Ghidorahs torso and then there's this glass shattering sound with the invisible barrier breaking 16:48
The most impressive thing about this animation is how it manages to keep this fight feeling fresh and exciting for a long amount of time. As much as I love seeing Godzilla and Ghidorah depicted in suitmation, practical effects could never accomplish the same level of momentum/escalation this animation has achieved. Even if it were an official Toho production, with all of Toho’s best filmmakers putting in their best efforts, an uncut 20 minute fight scene with Godzilla and King Ghidorah done entirely with practical effects, in the same vein as the Heisei or Millennium era G-films, would just be a massive slog that felt numbing and repetitive, given the limitations of what can be done with practical monster suits. This animation manages to provide lots of riveting action in how it depicts all the different attacks/abilities the monsters display, especially with how it fully embraces Ghidorah’s alien origins, giving him a wide variety of cosmic/eldritch powers (Summoning black holes, manipulating space and time, etc.), which make him feel like a truly opposing threat that could actually rival Godzilla. There’s an actual sense of peril and consequence to Ghidorah’s destruction here and Ghidorah, himself, actually feels like a powerful, imposing force and not just a glorified punching bag for Godzilla to wail on like in most incarnations of the character.
FACTS ! That rendition of Ghidorah truly showed why he was considered an universal threat !! Honestly, just giving the possibility for this animation to be made, the original movie was worth existing !
It helps that Godzilla Earth actually takes visible damage. Yes, he’s still the most powerful creature in the planet’s history (as nature’s greatest defense mechanism and the largest Godzilla to date), but here, he’s actually facing a being that can be considered on par or stronger than him.
Two things: This is the first time I've seen Godzilla Earth take VISIBLE damage. And, this is the first time that he's actually LOST a fight. I deluded myself into thinking he's this immortal, indestructible deity, a god incarnate. All that aside, this animation is absolutely spectacular, infinitely better than what the film showed us. This is the canon battle between two ancient, hated adversaries.
I'd just like to say that what you were thinking about this godzilla was right. He was meant to be depicted that way, unstoppable, immovable, invincible, a literal incarnation of god. It's just to think that such a creature, quite literally god itself has fallen in a clash to this new threat just shows how horrific and terrifying King Ghidorah is. Another thing which sounds less cool is just that, this particular godzilla is so overpowered, that they had to make an antagonist this crazy to stand a chance. He's so overpowered that the planet can't even stop him, so to make a threat that's even remotely worth while, they literally put an interdimensional god to fight against this beast.
This isn’t far too different from the movie, Godzilla gets beaten the crap out by ghidorah, And a third party helps him to instantly beat the crap out of ghidorah too, This is just more flashy
@@DreamerOfTheSouth Well, in the movie, Ghidorah was saved twice before the burning Godzilla appeared... Here, Void Ghidorah completely dominated until Godzilla merged with Mothra...In general, they were equal in the film, until one of them received a boost
This is by far the best Godzilla fight that I've ever seen. Words cannot describe how awesome this was. All the best for your future endeavors, keep it up.
The anime Ghidorah would have been a more terrifying and destructive version of the monster in the franchise if the creators had him show his true form in full, not just in vision sequences. This is definitely way more interesting and menacing than just his heads coming out of black holes. This was absolutely amazing. Fantastic job.
@@quynhphannhu7175 Actually Void Ghidorah's True form is when the Ritual was gone the only reason he became a 4 dimensional being is because of the Ritual without it he's weak, Godzilla Earth can pretty much squish him; as said in his wiki (vsbattles) he is actually "Inferior" to Godzilla Earth due to the fact that he wasn't able to scratch Godzilla Earth even with the Ritual being active, we see that in the movie, Void Ghidorah's Tier is at Low 2-C or Universal+ even without the Ritual he was already Universal but possibly lower because he's a 3 dimensional being (without the ritual). So you might disagree with me and tell me "Void Ghidorah is not Low 2-C" he actually is- I mean he can create Large Black holes with ease and eat Planets and even re-shape physics if he wanted to. So that means... Godzilla Earth is the strongest Godzilla? cause Heisei Godzilla's Tier was at Multi-solar system I think, I mean he basically killed the greek Gods (Zeus, Ares, Poseidon and etc.) and fought the guardian of hell and won.
Can I just make this statement: I don’t think the fans can be trusted making a Godzilla film (no offense). Because well many fans only care about monsters fighting rather than the moral.
@Lamar Davis can you guys not see that the main protagonist wasn’t that annoying (watch the second and third one)? There’s not boring dialogue at all (many quotes are actually interesting) and also, the monsters are interesting in their own right. The moral also is yes, technology is bad. Think about it: humans have abused with technology and science and look where that went too: nuclear weapons, pollution, and global warming. All of that led to Godzilla who serves as punishment for humanity’s arrogance and desire for more. Mechagodzilla serves as an example of technology’s destructive capabilities and what would happen if humanity would scientifically advance too far. King Ghidorah serves as a false god and humanity’s hatred and how Ghidorah not only came from hatred of Godzilla from humanity, but also is a huge example of the end of the world. You fans need to understand that
I think the Red Spiral Gravity Beam and Red Gravity Beams are still the same technique. The difference is that, for the later, Ghidorah fires the beam with each of its heads. While the former, Ghidorah fires it only from one head.
Its honestly sad how the Godzilla animated trilogy didnt even come close to this. This animation is what godzilla fans really wanted and it delivered great job.
At first I was amazed when he did legendary Ghidorah’s move but better. Then he attack big G with his own attack from the past by rewinding time and bested him in every way. I was shocked Then Ghidorah launched the moon at him and my mind was blown 🤯
One of Ghidorah's most ferocious and malevolent names may be the "Three Headed Devil", but man... this animation, what the anime *Could* have offered... Ghidorah look like a destructive heaven, an Archangel with Golden Wings. Animation, sound designs, designs of these behemoths here is... Honestly, funny how a 25 minute fan piece can be greater than a full-length movie. You more than out-did yourself here. Utterly glorious
Some Titles/Nicknames that I've heard for Ghidorah from comics and movies The Three-Headed Devil The Golden Demise Death Song of Three Storms The One who is Many The False King Monster Zero
It would have been cool if this were a pre-movie short that played before _Godzilla vs Kong._ But the only movie maker I know that dabbles in theatrical shorts these days are Pixar if I recall. The whole concept seems to be a lost art otherwise.
I don't think I have the words to describe how absurdly badass this animation was. By far and away my favorite godzilla fan animation to date. Hell, one of my favorite godzilla fights to date.
And this Ghidorah isn't even destroyed for good. The appearance of the second pair of wings and two heads of Ghidorah, which all coming out from portals indicate that there's the main body, which still residing in another dimension.
@@meremsolomon4744 they could be illusions of ghidorah in his true form. Because I think ghidorah can manifest in two different forms: those three floating snake heads from the movie and the form we see in this video. And once earth is at its weakest, Ghidorah manifests illusions of his wings to consume earth. What I’m saying is the two giant heads and giant wings are not his true form, but illusions of his full body (which is in the video) and cans still be killed physically and mentally: Godzilla kills ghidorah physically and Haruo (by killing himself) destroys Ghidorah mentally and once and for all.
@@mikephelps5454 It's more likely that there's still the true body which residing in the Void. Since there can't be more of a concrete explanation as of why Ghidorah still be able to shoot Gravity Beams from the other two heads which appear from two Singularities, pushing the Moon to crash Earth in the process. Mere illusions can't do something physically real like that. I agree about if you say this Ghidorah is able to create illusion or projection of Godzilla Earth, since the way it works is that all of those atomic beams which come out from purple coloured Singularites, is the way of Ghidorah redirecting back all of the Godzilla Earth's atomic beams which has been 'absorbed' before that point. Also, literally the ending of this fanmade Godzilla Earth trilogy is following with the actual movie one, where Haruo sacrifice himself along with Vulture (which contain nano material) to be destroyed, in order to prevent the cycle and Second coming of Ghidorah in the future, essentially freeing the planet from Ghidorah's clutches. And there's never been any statement nor indication in the canon movie that Ghidorah is gone for good (non existent) after being defeated by Godzilla Earth.
@@meremsolomon4744 I doubt the true body was residing in the void. Because how can Ghidorah reside in his universe, when he was fighting Godzilla the whole time? I think Ghidorah manifests into this universe and alters his body into a smaller version of himself. As for the two necks shooting gravity beams, Ghidorah made those necks capable of shooting them (because Ghidorah can focus his own energy so the necks can shoot gravity beams like Godzilla)
Ghidorah's last screech was absolutely beautiful. Amazing work. Edit: No ones gonna talk about how infinitely harder life would be on Earth without a moon?
To be fair could've had the final clash not involve the moon and the beam struggle knocks Ghidorah into the sun thus destroying him ( although one could argue that since ghidorah can absorb energy....)
Seriously, phenomenal job man, this is one of the best animations I've seen. You absolutely wiped the floor with the entire trilogy. Toho should just hire you and kick out all the writers that made the fight scenes and plot from the anime trilogy.
@Amanda Leme There’s an anime trilogy of this Godzilla on the video (Godzilla Earth) The Anime Trilogy was really bad. So people think this (Fanmade animation) is the canon one rather than the original one.
Yeah, like damn he was even having both arms destroyed! It would've been gory if Godzilla was not a plant life-form, imagine all that blood coming out!!
This. This was a true battle between Gods. No official production has ever made it work quite like this. More and more fandoms are demonstrating a deeper understanding of their beloved franchises than their own owners and directors. This was Godzilla AND Ghidorah at their most powerful, and if the anime's final battle had been more like this, I would have watched the shit out of it even with all the other depressing stuff thrown in. You, sir, are a true fan. And this...this is true art.
And looks like, the post battle scene is following the end of third Godzilla Earth movie. As we can see, that Godzilla Earth is shooting a robot fighter jet called as Vulture. Ending the cycle of destruction, preventing void Ghidorah to return to Earth in the future. That, and we could see two of Void Ghidorah's head appearing near the end of the battle, from two portals, even though Godzilla Earth already decapitated it, showed that Void Ghidorah isn't destroyed for good, despite all of that desctruction with the Moon being blown up. The main body is still reside in another dimension.
To anyone reading, prepare for a wall of text. You've been warned! This is easily the best Godzilla fan animation I have ever had the pleasure of seeing. Aside from the sheer quality of the animation itself and the mind-blowingly epic scale of this climatic battle between literal gods, Godzilla Earth and Void Ghidorah, I was genuinely invested in this battle. To see Godzilla Earth truly put the test and facing the possibility of defeat for the first time, with the planet's existence at stake, added great tension and intensity to the fight. From the moment of his landing, Ghidorah makes Godzilla look small and powerless. To the point that I was asking myself, "how in the world is Godzilla going to survive this? Is he just going to lose?" Knowing that this was the Godzilla who'd taken the entirety of Earth as his domain means it takes some serious convincing to attain such a feat but this animation did it. All without a single word of spoken dialogue. Speaking of which, the litany of Void Ghidorah's abilities feel appropriately world-shatteringly powerful and fitting for his character. Classic beam attacks, gravity and time flow alteration, sheer strength and durability, manipulation of reality and space, none of them felt out of place and expertly portrayed. More so than any other incarnation of the character, Ghidorah feels like a malevolent deity. An eldritch, unknowable horror capable of literally consuming worlds and the universes containing them. His effects on the environment around him made it seem as though Godzilla was thrust into a cosmic landscape. Ghidorah wastes no time in contorting the planet to his liking or simply into something so twisted, it's almost unrecognizable as Earth. To finally see him defeated was a very gratifying sight, indeed. Plus, I mean, Ghidorah tried to destroy the Earth with the friggin' Moon! C'mon, that's just too awesome to write off here! Next up on the list, the unexpected but welcome intervention of Mothra in aid of Godzilla just adds to the clash of beings above us simple insect life forms. Her massive wings, dangling ribbons, blinding white and blue luminescence, and signature high-pitched squeal and cries all immediatley portray her as an angelic, benevolent being of great power but clear fragility. Mothra's manifestation as thousands of tiny orbs made me think of mystical fairies and the way the seeds of plant life are carried by the breeze. It helps imply, at least to me, that Mothra is a caretaker of life on Earth. Not so much a belligerent fighter. The fact that she seemingly lacks offensive powers is a nice touch to further this particular portrayal, though this is made up for given that her shield seems many times more capable than Godzilla's. Still, the infusion of herself with Godzilla not only makes for a striking cosmetic upgrade but a symbiotic uniting of the greatest powers of life against the ultimate avatar of death. Once enemies in the anime universe, to see them work together is a nice touch. There's a feeling of relief and triumph once we see Godzilla, Mothra having departed, standing amongst a blue sky and a new dawn. This single battle carried more emotion, intrigue, and entertainment, for me, than the entirety of the anime trilogy and many of Godzilla's battles beyond them, though I'm certainly not knocking on the decades' worth of films and other media that helped inspire this project. It's clear this was a creation of pure creative passion and contains many appropriatly-placed but clear references to this creator's past works, the anime, even the MonsterVerse King of the Monsters film. The only thing I found kind of puzzling was the reason Void Ghidorah landed on Earth if his method of consuming planets involves enveloping said planet in his wings through a portal in its orbit. Seems to me he could have simply done that and side-stepped the battle with Godzilla and Mothra entirely. Nonetheless, this is a phenomenal love letter to Godzilla's legacy and I hope that everyone involved in its creation is proud of what they've created here. Wishing the best for all of you and thank you for putting in the time and energy to make this animation the best it could be. Long Live The King!
For your final point about the whole needless battle. I assume Ghidorah has never had a real challenge being god of the void and so decides to land to fight Godzilla who I assume he sensed on the surface. We can see that as Ghidorah is knocking him through the ground he begins consuming the earth which I assume he's getting bored out still continues to fight for fun being undominated by anything until he looses focus and stops consuming the planet when Godzilla suddenly gets a power up. Growing desperate decided to destroy the planet with the moon since, Godzilla can sense him I assume and Ghidorah knows he doesn't have enough time to consume the way we saw he doing before he lost focus. That's what I think was going on.
True! Ghidorah tends to be portrayed as malicious so, I'm willing to buy that he enjoys a good fight against a powerful foe or tearing through the life inhabiting a planet before consuming it just out of a twisted, sadistic pleasure. Godzilla being the "world tree" of Earth, it makes sense that he would be targeted.
It was probably a matter of pride. Ghidorah didn’t want to just devour the planet and be done with it, he wanted to crush the strongest creature under his claws and give the world a brief moment of despair before he finished it all. Godzilla was Earth’s champion, and Ghidorah was there to prove himself above.

God, I love everything about these animations, and this one especially, but perhaps my favorite thing about this is Ghidorah’s roar, or perhaps more accurately, his _scream._ There’s the Showa cackling and Hesei roars, and then there’s that demonic screech he occasionally lets loose. It really sells the eldritch-ness of this incarnation.
Godzilla now is more than the King of the Monsters. He now represents, more than anything, nature itself. He has become the incarnation of the planet. Nothing can stop him. He is truly a God in flesh. Godzilla is forever.
Ghidorah threatens the planet, and it is Godzilla who is the planet itself. Mothra is the protector of the earth, so she will help the earth to save it from the planet eater. (yes he is very much forever)
@@MattJett It doesn't. This is, AFAIC, the metric against which all of Godzilla's future battles against Ghidorah can be measured. As much as I loved KOTM, their final battle still isn't this epic.
@@zuttoaragi8349 so amazing that someone can do a fan-video and outdo both Netflix and Hollywood's production and creativity. when i first watched this i almost cried. i had wished that ghidorah would finally get a win, but not like this. i realized how much desire could harm the other, and that when that harm is put on godzilla you regret that you wished for it to happen. thats what this felt like, Ghidorah was a pure space devil of destruction while godzilla couldnt do anything, he barely gave goji a chance to actually do something, and with that second godzilla that ghidorah summoned and attacked the original godzilla made me think that this was the true end of godzilla. but mothra was there and i knew that she would be the very angle to heal him just like in KOTM, and the final segment of the video where godzilla destroys ghidorah pushed all my hopes and desires for ghidorah to win into the volcano of hell. but the entire video itself was perfect and taught me about the consequences of desire. there were no flaws in this video, there were no cringey parts that i squinted my eyes at, nothing. this video captured the embodiment of Perfect. the battle between gods, the battle that was hoped to have been seen for 57 years. nothing in the arts has ever looked more beautiful then the entirety of this 25 minute long video. i am happy to have this with me and im glad that you made many refferences in the final segment. Mothras death from Kotm, Godzilla absorbing ghidorahs powers from GMK, Ghidorah falling down from godzillas attack from the 1991 movie, godzilla blasting at the moon in the sky like final wars and the fire godzilla from kotm. i can go on about this forever, but maybe this would be enough. thank you for this masterpeice.

I love how Ghidorah is actually bending the universe around him, like how he seems bigger from Godzilla's perspectives that's a really good detail, I love this man.
Oh and also how he can. Control time with his tails I forgot about that xD
The fact that he’s literally only toying around with Godzilla is insane.
@@bayonetonazero2535 and underestimation is what got him killed, if king g treated this fight as a serious one then he would've probably won
I'd still like to have an explanation on Ghidorahs glass barrier
In the beginning when Godzilla shot his atomic breath at Ghidorahs torso it looked like it got absorbed or send away
But in the end Godzilla manages to shoot through Ghidorahs torso and then there's this glass shattering sound with the invisible barrier breaking 16:48
Tbh, I don't know who s the good guy anymore. Maybe neither one is.
It helps that Godzilla Earth actually takes visible damage. Yes, he’s still the most powerful creature in the planet’s history (as nature’s greatest defense mechanism and the largest Godzilla to date), but here, he’s actually facing a being that can be considered on par or stronger than him.
So we’re all in agreement that THIS is the official Planet Eater fight, right?

Nah fuck that, this is canon. Idc what anyone says
Technically it's canon if the ritual was completely succeed
Agreed comrade, a crime indeed.
@@Metphies- yes
@@scorpink5901 What are you talking about? Ghidorah has no issues when draining godzilla earth and even absorbed the heat from the scarlet form.
@@DreamerOfTheSouth What? After the merger of Godzilla Earth and Mothra, Ghidora was literally mocked, but everything is clearly visible in the video

The anime Ghidorah would have been a more terrifying and destructive version of the monster in the franchise if the creators had him show his true form in full, not just in vision sequences. This is definitely way more interesting and menacing than just his heads coming out of black holes. This was absolutely amazing. Fantastic job.
The anime Ghidorah still is terrifying in the actual film because of his ability to distort space-time and his biology as a inter dimensional demon
@@mikephelps9238 yeah and the fact according to Mephties he consumed thousand of planet and "godzilla" like monster. And it not even his true form.

Absurdly is the word but at the same time an understatement lol...

Beautifully said bro
Thank you kindly! You're a trooper reading through it all, lol.

Some of these scream are actually from the anime movies. And those sounds come from some of the necromorphs of dead space
Godzilla now is more than the King of the Monsters. He now represents, more than anything, nature itself. He has become the incarnation of the planet. Nothing can stop him. He is truly a God in flesh. Godzilla is forever.
Absolutely!
Same here
Ghidorah threatens the planet, and it is Godzilla who is the planet itself. Mothra is the protector of the earth, so she will help the earth to save it from the planet eater. (yes he is very much forever)

想像を超えたすさまじい映像の数々、感動と衝撃の連続でした。ありがとうございました。
when i first watched this i almost cried. i had wished that ghidorah would finally get a win, but not like this. i realized how much desire could harm the other, and that when that harm is put on godzilla you regret that you wished for it to happen. thats what this felt like, Ghidorah was a pure space devil of destruction while godzilla couldnt do anything, he barely gave goji a chance to actually do something, and with that second godzilla that ghidorah summoned and attacked the original godzilla made me think that this was the true end of godzilla. but mothra was there and i knew that she would be the very angle to heal him just like in KOTM, and the final segment of the video where godzilla destroys ghidorah pushed all my hopes and desires for ghidorah to win into the volcano of hell. but the entire video itself was perfect and taught me about the consequences of desire. there were no flaws in this video, there were no cringey parts that i squinted my eyes at, nothing. this video captured the embodiment of Perfect. the battle between gods, the battle that was hoped to have been seen for 57 years. nothing in the arts has ever looked more beautiful then the entirety of this 25 minute long video. i am happy to have this with me and im glad that you made many refferences in the final segment.

Bear this torch against the cold of the night
Search your soul and reawaken the undying light!
On that day when the sky fell away
Our world came to an end
In our eyes, did a fading sun rise
In the dark glimmering shadows
Silence grows in the spaces between
Stretching out beyond time
Rising up as a chorus of souls
Find a voice
Flickering through the void
These little sparks cling on to life
Everyone caught in the struggle
And then the storms of change
They fan the flames
Scattering ashes to the wind!
Every soul contains a whisper of light
Gleaming faintly as it dwindles from sight
No escape, no greater fate to be made
In the end the chains of time will not break
Colors weave into a spire of flame
Distant sparks call to a past still unnamed
Bear this torch against the cold of the night
Search your soul and reawaken the undying light!
As fate spins
A thread without end
New life draws it's first breath
Blossoming in a soil reclaimed from the past
Where destiny holds fast
Here where we stand
Hand clenched in hand
Everyone caught in the struggle
This is the day we finally find our way
Stepping into our tomorrow!
Every soul contains a whisper of light
Growing louder as it calls to unite
From the distance sings a chorus of souls
Rising slowly, stirring heat from the coals
Colors weave into a spire of flame
