Been over a year since I did one of these, so here's Ghiddy. Today also happens to be the 24th anniversary of Rebirth of Mothra III, perfect timing. All Burning Godzilla Themes: th-cam.com/video/wIymzXxn960/w-d-xo.html All Mechagodzilla Themes: th-cam.com/video/ajNL7NClATU/w-d-xo.html
Which is weird, because that's basically the only thing Heisei Ghidorah has going for him. He's the weakest incarnation of the monster, gets killed in under five minutes in his first fight, and doesn't even have his own roar (he just recycles Rodan's for some reason). I firmly contend the only reason people fondly remember the Heisei series is Ifukube's score.
GMK and AniTrilogy have the best themes. They both perfectly encapsulate the two different sides of Ghidorah, one focusing on awe and grandeur, the other on terror and dread.
Showa Ghidorah's theme: He does exactly what i do. Heisei Ghidorah's theme: But better. Grand K G's theme: Bootleg John Williams. GMK Ghidorah's theme: A mythical god about to have an epic fight, then die horribly again. Anime Ghidorah's theme: legitimately creepy and atmospheric. MV Ghidorah's theme: Demonic and sense of impending doom. Also my favorite one.
Thank you for pointing this out, it always kinda irks me when people treat them as if they're all the same character just cause they have Ghidorah in their names. Like SpaceGodzilla and Mechagodzilla both have Godzilla in their names but that doesn't make them Godzilla. P.S. sorry for the mini rant
Interesting that you posted this… It might have just accidentally foreshadowed something I have in the works… 👀 (Also skipping both Death and Kaiser kinda weird but aight)
The GMK theme is.....bad. There's really no thematic material in the anime and the less said about it the better. Likewise about the Mothra trilogy only it fits better.
Those are not good movies but their existence is almost worth it because Takayuki Hattori's score is so good. His music for Godzilla vs. Spacegodzilla and Godzilla 2000 is also quite good, although 2000's score suffers for its brevity in that someone decided a bunch of scenes (including the fight with Orga) shouldn't have music in the Japanese cut; the US cut actually has original variations on Ifukube's themes in it because the fight has no score otherwise.

Theme of "bidibidibidibidibidi"
I think showa Ghidorah and the heisei/rebirth of mothras Ghidorah are underated
Nice! I absolutely love 1991's Ghidorah theme, it just sounds so dreadful and intimidating
King Ghidorah’s Theme from Rebirth of Mothra lll Sounds Like Something You’d Hear in a Star Wars Movie
Void Ghidorah's theme sounds horrific, well I like it
The 1991 theme is definitely the definitive King Ghidorah theme for me. No other theme song is truly as symbolic of his title "King Of Terror".
Hopefully in a future Toho film we'll hear it again.
Bro just speak fax 🥶🔥

@@AJadedLizard I'd think the GMK version is the weakest, but I definitely feel Heisei KG is way too weak
@@mikhailhutchcraft7711 GMK could tank more than one atomic blast from Godzilla.
The Showa King Ghidorah from Destroy All Monsters will always be the best Ghidorah theme. It's just peak everything for Ghidorah.
I prefer the tempo of the Heisei version. I like the Showa version but it's a bit too fast.

KOTM theme is also up there too.

The reason why Death Ghidorah and Keizer Ghidorah aren't in this video is because the video said every "King Ghidorah" not every "Ghidorah"

@@S_PIDER I actually have no problems with rants by the way

Good to know
Ghidorah's theme in the Monsterverse is a masterpiece!
Ah yes, the best music for my favorite three headed, golden, winged, electricity lizard
Hate to be that guy but, its gravity beams, not lightning
@@yoursravishankar i know, but "electricity lizard" is funnier
@shadowgames6164 Oh, Cool,

What’s interesting about Ghidorah is that without mind control we only see him once and that’s as a good guy, a guardian in GMK.
He's not mind controlled in Gt3HM, RoM3, GtPE, or KotM.
The most dreadful and mighty of all Kaiju: the King of Terror.

In relation to Death and Keizer, read description. They aren't King Ghidorah.
@@Blotzwave Fair.
The 1964 theme is definitely the definitive one. 1991 is a worthy remake. The KOTM theme is the parallel theme.

1991 Is Beyond Iconic
The Planet Eater theme is very underrated despite the movie being questionable.
Sorry not sorry.

Aw he forgot Keizer Ghidorahs theme..
Read the description
Yeah I noticed that after I posted the comment..
Long live king ghidorah
A bird was running from the 1991 Ghidorah theme 😂
I hate void ghidorah
Void ghidorah the largest king ghidorah with the scariest theme!!!!
