@basicwitgirl Loving the series! Some spoiler-free tips: -Most AOE spells have friendly fire! You kept shocking your allies with that conal lightning spell 😆 -Use more spells! A lot of the time you were just auto-attacking with the staff, which does pretty low damage. Your mana regens quickly after fights so no worry about wasting it. Plus you have Lyrium Potions to restore it. -The reason you were getting "Blocked" messages in that fight in the field was because the guy you were attacking was behind a fence! Gotta reposition or use spells to damage him. -Your poor party members were dying while you had full mana & Heal ready to use 😅 You can either watch their healthbars more closely (holding Tab is nice for this so you can still watch combat), or go into tactics and set your allies to use a Health Poultice when their health goes under 50% or 25%. Barkangel uses Mabari Crunch instead of Poultices, as you discovered in the Herbalism menu! -Leliana has poison-making for your squad already I saw you found camp towards the end of the episode, nice job!
you'll probably work it out by the time you see this, but sten has two handed weapon abilities so needs to be using a two handed weapon rather than a single mace. Leliana has has bow abilities but by default swaps to daggers if enemies get to melee range, she can duel wield them so she can use two enchanted daggers based on gear you already have, she'd benefit from some armour.
I am really enjoying your play through of this game and your funny commentary! That being said, your inventory management practices hurt me inside. 😅 Some friendly tips: 1.) Buy all the backpacks you find. 2.) Loot everything you possibly can. 3.) Instead of destroying things you don't want, sell them. Hope this helps! Can't wait for the next stream!
Basic got me nostalgic and now I am playing DAO while I wait to get my new PC to play Veilguard haha hey basic did you know there is a mod to get an extra slot for the doggo so you can have 4 companions!

I highly recommend not having the dog in your party for the companion dialogue and combat effectiveness.
