    If you enjoy my film please would you like and share to help me be able to create more.
    Hi guys, welcome to another film by antiquesarena, In this film you get a look at my eBay take, this is the return of myself to eBay after a year or two off it, no surprise how much I make in the first week and month wow. Hope you enjoy guys.
    My business is small and simple, I buy from charity shops, car boot sales thrift stores etc to sell in my shop and on eBay, amazon, facebook and other platforms, and make films that I hope you enjoy , please feel free to comment and give your opinion and experiences. its a little look at buying and selling what to buy and sell . i have a pawn / antique shop but have sold for many years at car boot sales, antique fairs, auction houses, i buy and sell antiques and collectables and show you my finds every week, in this chat i talk about the different ways to sell to maximise your profit. do you hold out for the most money you can get from your antiques and collectables or do you take less money and deal in volume. Should you Specialise or be a general dealer. here are my top tips to help you understand how much to sell for to have the best results and most profit. This advice will work no matter if you sell on ebay, Amazon, Etsy, facebook or any other platform, hope this advice is both useful and helps you make loads of money. if you would like to see more films on my antique finds, advice on how to sell or buy and book reviews please visit my channel for hundreds of films.

    The fees are high but it's worth it to put yourself in the window. Nowhere else will you find that many buyers in one place. worth it imo

    I buy everything thing I sell for such a bargain that ebay could take 50% and I can still make profit. I usually don't have problem with ebay, but more so with different genres of customers. Some categories of things I sell just consistently have annoying, impatient customers. I try to avoid selling those items, but I still have tons of them to sell. Getting ready to just get rid of it in lots and be done with them.

      Hi Dusky. Thank you for your comment. i buy my items cheap also but i pay less to auction houses who do all the work including pics and dealing with customers so its a hard pill to swallow for me. good luck

    Rather than buy in the same area where you can't sell expensive items, why not rent or buy in somewhere in Whitchurch or pontcanna in Cardiff - where you could charge top prices and get in dealers cabinets?

    • @AntiquesArena
      @AntiquesArena  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Mark. Thank you for your comment. i totally agree and understand your comment, i even gave it a great deal of thought, i could move to cardiff or the likes but the property is far more expensive, the council tax/ rates are high and i would have to commute every day. if i stay where i am i still have a very good wage each week, i sell plenty of the cheaper end just struggle with the expensive items. in addition there is no rates and if i own the shop no rent, so all money earned is mine so to speak.

    fees are all relative, if you were selling threw an art gallery you'd pay at least 25% , an auction houses charge both the seller and buyer commission

      Hi Steve, i only pay dreweatte neat 10 percent mate and they do all the work and deal with the buyers for me lol

      Please do - they are a bit sneaky & only show it hidden at the bottom of the screen . The higher the turnover the bigger savings you can make.

    would you rather not take your kids on hot holiday aboard than have all that gold kicking about

    • @AntiquesArena
      @AntiquesArena  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Lucas. thank you for your comment. i will be taking the kids away in the summer holidays, as for the gold, in this profession there is no pension plan and no fixed wage, you can go weeks and have no money so i like to hold gold for emergency or investment, my soon needed a thousand pounds for buying baby items so i scrapped it in, i am not obsessed with the gold i will let it go if i need to.
