Thank you Shinichi another very interesting new place to mark down for a visit when we can travel again. Just love those confectionery stores and the little supermarkets. Hope you and Satoshi enjoyed a rest after filming. Thanks again
There are several nooks and crannies in Tokyo that the locals are not even aware of - fascinating to explore by anyone. This is also so in other parts of the country. Japan is truly a wonderland and a tourist destination. This video is helpful for the country's tourism.
Hi , found your channel tonight and I enjoyed the walk through the shopping street with you. Your excitement to explore and your way to make the audience feel approached is very lovely. Take care 😷 😷
I've been watching TabiEats for over a year and never realized you had other channels!?! This was a very interesting walk and I was able to follow via street view. Thanks Shinichi!
I’m just like you....explore every nook and corner of a neighborhood. Look into every store and enjoy the presentation of the displays of goods and food. Easy to tire out, but that gives you a great chance to sit for a bit at a cafe or shop and let it all soak in.
I’m like you Shinichi. I get excitable when I stroll down those alleys. I wanna try out the food and shop at the quaint stores. I can walk for hours and get totally immersed and just appreciate the whole experience. Plus I lost a few pounds that’s the best part. Now I gained it back cuz of quarantine boo hoo. I look forward to be back sometime in the future. Thanks for your energy and enthusiasm in showing us around. Take care of you and Satoshi.
Aloha Shinichi, Thank you for taking us to your part of the world while we can't get back there. My heart aches to return to Tokyo. You videos are the next best thing. Thank you for taking the time to bring us there through your eyes and videos. Stay well and Give Satoshi a hug from Hawaii. I will have a beer or maybe two for him for Pau Hana Friday tonight. Aloha From Maui!
I love these walking videos. The way you do them, it feels like I'm walking next to you. Tokyo is so big with so many nooks and crannies, I don't think you could ever exhaust the wonderful places to visit. Great video Thanks Shinichi!
I was just in Tokyo early this year with Dreamgirls the Musical and spent my last week there. I miss Japan so so so much and can't wait until I can come back.
Satoshi and my husband would wait for us at the coffee shop while we go discover everything! lol I drove my husband crazy when we were in Harajuku, but at the end he was able to admit he had fun The best way to walk around is to not have a planned route, but to go where it feels right. I enjoy your walks as we can't visit right now. Cant wait to come back to Japan! Aloha from the big island Hawai'i!
You get all excited about shopping, just like me. I can spend hours looking at stuff, while not necessarily buying anything, mind you. When I'm actually out to buy something, it's usually quick because I've already done the advance work and know what I'm looking for...
Poor Satoshi-san! He’s a sweetie to tag along on your adventure. He’s totally the practical sort, isn’t he? I hope he got something good at the coffee shop.
This is great, I wish we have something like that arcade here. Those shops look so interesting and fun to explore. Another great walking tour! I also like that you and Satoshi understand each other so well and respect each other's boundaries while still supporting your inividual passions. More power to you guys! ❤️ Also, I spied a Filipino restaurant beside that bread shop 😊
I don’t think I’ve told you before, but my brother lived in Hawaii for six years. He lived on Oahu...he was in the military when he lived there. He fell in love with it and they go back every year, a lot of the time they go for Christmas. And my son lived on Oahu for four years. He just moved back to Pennsylvania in March of this year...after having lived in Hawaii for four years. He was also in the military. He’s a medic and worked at the hospital in Oahu. I’ve not been yet, but will be going next fall, just before my trip to Tokyo!!! 🥰 (My son is traveling to Tokyo with me, so you’ll meet him when I cook for you guys!!!)
"Sports Authority...that's boring...let's not go that way." ;-) I think I'm more like Satoshi in that I'd be saying, "Can't we stop here for a bit?" It's like when I was a kid and my mom would just walk by places I wanted to go into. Probably why I wandered off a lot as a kid.
....Satoshi is kind of a spoilsport here 😕😣, your attitude here is just perfect...like a kid in a new toy store, always amazed and excited, and you should be, this place is AMAZING, what a discovery 🤩😄😁😂
Last year in November I was for the first time in Japan for 3weeks after I saved up for it for 12years (I am really sick so it's hard to save up) I would love to see tateishi or shibamata in one of your videos these days. I miss this places with it's great food.
It's always interesting to see peoples take on "Hawaiian" cuisine outside of Hawaii. The true local Hawaiian cuisine though is so simple and doesn't require any sort of flair. In fact, the messier it is, the closer to real local cuisine it gets lol. If the menu doesn't have Hawaiian food like laulau or kalua pork, then it must at least have loco moco. Not having at least one of those things makes it so... not Hawaii lol.
2:35 *That building* just left of you in the video is *EXACTLY* how I want the entrance of my house to look. Pedestrian: "Oh, that looks professional and inviting." Me: *bumps glass* "Oh sorry love, this an entrance to our dungeon or the private residence above the street.'"
Shopping - I prefer the old fashioned shotogai (is that the name?) for atmosphere and ease of finding what I am looking for. For example in Fukuoka there's an old fashioned shotogai & then there's the modern shops that squirt water into the air (like DisneyWorld). I like the old style because where I come from there's always modern shops, so old (retro) is nice). Coffee Shop - Yes please film in one. I love these old style cafes. I hope that they don't die out.
....Satoshi is often kind of a spoilsport 😕😣, killing the excitement and momentum of Shinichi (which is all the more difficult for someone who struggles with anxiety and depression) 😢😭😂🤣
I’m not sure if you read all the comments in all the videos, I hope not 😁 who has that much time... Still I wish to answer your question though, I’m just like you when I’m out and want to see anything and everything and look all the nook&crannies of every shop , which drives my husband crazy just like Satoshi lol 😂 I also used to thought why he never joined your new walking series and now I know exactly why 😁😎 I’m long time member, I don’t know if it’s just me or others might agree as well but I really enjoy your overall content more since the pandemic than before ♥️ keep your lovely work and thanks for sharing with us.
I sit ready for this video, so looking forward to see Akabane! can't wait untill start in 36 min! YAY :) Shinichi and Satoshi you guys are awesome! your video's are always so 'sophisticated" lol :P little joke, Love you guys! keep up the good spirits and stay well.
Poor Satoshi! My hubby is the same way. It is a bummer when I want to explore. You need an exploring buddy when Satoshi is too tired. Lovely video! Soo many awesome places to eat and shop. Low carb is hard for me. I prefer low cal. I like bread and don't eat much meat. Lately I am stress eating. Which is bad. I would want to eat everything if I was in Japan. Soo many different options. A trick I use, I watch people eating on YT and pretend I am eating it. Doesn't work for everyone. But, it is great if I am on a diet. ❤🌈
Thank you for your posts. They have been very enjoyable. I was planning to visit Japan this year and then everything changed for all of us. So I was so happy to find your posts. So again thank you.
I am so sorry I cannot stay up any longer I would love to see it but I guess I will just see it later today I been fitted with a cold I do not want to get sick so I’m going to go to bed please give me a heart 💓 or something please love all your video
I’m booking a trip in late sept yes kind of a last min decision. Tossing the accommodation between akabane and Hamamatsu ( 50,000yen in difference ) do you agree it is still kind of handy to go around Tokyo if we stay there? Thanks
Hi friends! So good to see you both! Lol poor Satoshi! He's hot..😄 Wow...lots of bars! No horse meat! No no no!....Yay cooking and eating! My favorite 😋 Oh I love gyoza! Poor Satoshi! Maybe he will feel better in the mall. Personally, I don't go to our local mall. To many people normally. Lately, for obvious reasons, I haven't been out. So, when I do go, it's not far or it's just with my husband in the car. I love to explore and I am glad to "join" you on your explorations. Thank you for sharing!
😊 3:42 Satoshi:"I'm very hot" Shinichi:"Yes!" Satoshi:"I'm hot." Shinichi: 😏 "Yes. You're hot. Exactly!"
I love this. These crowded back streets are so so fascinating.
You walked right by a hobby shop! I think a tour of a Japanese hobby shop should be on the agenda!
Retro shotengai, best shotengai
Thank you Shinichi another very interesting new place to mark down for a visit when we can travel again. Just love those confectionery stores and the little supermarkets. Hope you and Satoshi enjoyed a rest after filming. Thanks again
Thank you for this. I need Japanese tour vlogs in my life again. I wanted to badly to move there but life happened.

The town looks interesting. I love going in and out of all the interesting little stores. Then stopping at a place to relax and have lunch.
Aloha Shinichi, Thank you for taking us to your part of the world while we can't get back there. My heart aches to return to Tokyo. You videos are the next best thing. Aloha from the big island Hawai'i!
There's something charming about densely populated cities like Tokyo. The streets look so exciting and out of this world for me(I live in NZ)
Thanks for bringing us wonderful videos around Japan! Will definitely visit this place the next time I come to Japan!
Please do more videos here - such a nice, cool, different location.
thank you for bringing us with you lol...i love places like this, I could walk and shop all day!
I love exploring new places too! And I get excited about every new thing I see! I love it,I hope to go there one day!
It’s just like I’m doing the window shopping around that place, by just following your stroll.. cheers
I was so interested in the red plastic crates they were using for seating at the izakayas. It was so cute.
Loved the energy shinichi!!!! I’m the same when I love new places that are cool to explore too!!!!👍🏻❤️
Thanks for doing the exploring and bringing us along when we can´t do it ourselves. Appreciate your videos!
Japan is on the top of my bucket list, so keen to visit! I’ve heard it’s amazing...I really appreciate your vlogs, keep em coming 💖

Reid no we enjoy see both of them don't u have time u have a day satoshi is having be POSITIVE with ur words
@@londonpelen9157 I totally agree with you. People should really be more careful with their words. Those two comments above? Rude and unnecessary.

Nchome walk around please!!
You do a lot of bike rides and that is kind of a sport or at least physical activity and you walk a lot too!
I’m booking a trip in late sept yes kind of a last min decision. Tossing the accommodation between akabane and Hamamatsu ( 50,000yen in difference ) do you agree it is still kind of handy to go around Tokyo if we stay there? Thanks
Tokyo is huge so you’ll be far from something wherever you stay. The closer to a train station the easier.
You wore Satoshi out 😱
Ha I did
Awe man! I am 44 minutes late.
