I am new to DP and have a few ready for framing. I've watched so many videos on framing and this is the ONLY one that speaks to me. You matted your DP in a way that makes sense without having to fuss with getting the correct mat size. The problem for me was the DP'ings themselves are seldom the size indicated. I was toying with the idea of having them matted and framed professionally but was concerned that in the process there may be loss of drills. That also can become very expensive to do if you do a lot of these ...like we do. I can buy my poster boards in many colors from Amazon and even find some pretty nice frames. Thank you for doing this. It was literally the answer to my prayers as I have one ready to give my sister as a house warming gift. Be blessed and keep the videos coming...I'll be watching them all.
I hope you were able to get them framed with no problem!! I love doing things the easy way, so I buy all different types and colors of poster boards!! I am so glad this video helped you out - I look for easy, inexpensive ways whenever I can! Thanks for watching 😊
No, I didn't seal it with anything, and it is still in perfect condition today! When I frame my diamond paintings, I don't seal them. I have several that have been framed for at least 4 years, and no drills have fallen off.
This is so simple🤩. I usually struggle for hours trying to frame my DP, and can never find a frame that fits it perfectly. I can't believe the solution was this simple🥰......thankyou so much😁.
This is perfect!!! I bought frames for the ones I'm making for Christmas gifts and the inserts don't work so I've been struggling all morning trying to figure out how I can make it fit and look good. Oh man, I'm so glad I found your post!! Thank you!!!
I am so thankful I found this video. I was planning to go to a local craft shop and have mine framed for a small fortune. But now I have the perfect alternate choice. Thank you for you video.
Loved it!!!!,but I hate my OCD, 😂😂😂 going crazy w it not being centered, lol. I just framed one that way the other day, found some beautiful scrapbooking paper ❤ great job. Thanks for sharing
It is a gorgeous picture and love the blue framing around it. I love the color blue it is my favorite color. I am so happy to see a video again because you haven't been doing to many. I miss hearing your voice, your humour and laughter plus seeing you. I hope to see a lot more video's of diamond paintings. Take care my dear sweet friend. Sincerely Angie Schulte of Hector Minnesota.
Thank you so much Angie!! Blue is my favorite color too 😊 I am planning on a "DP with me" real soon!! I have things to share!! 😊 Thank you so much for your sweet words - they really make my day 💖💖 Take care my dear friend!!
Thank you. I have been looking around for how to do this framing. Your method is so practical and simple, I love it. Now I have a method I can afford to follow.
What a great way to display your Diamond Painting! This is definitely the way to go. By the way, I love the rolling pin tip, to set the diamonds! Thank you for your video.
I did a buck picture , sort of autumn colors, and framed it in black. Then I used thin skor tape around the edge of the painting on the black then burnished gold flakes on the tape. It really added to the picture. Silver would look nice on the blue color you used.
I’m a first time diamond painter and enjoy working with them. However I was very nervous about framing the project. It’s going to be a present for my oldest granddaughter and want it to look nice. This video helped ease my worry; thank you 😊
I love your cottage scene and your framing idea was simply GENIUS! I can't wait to see your other ideas bcuz I'm one of those avid DP'ers with lots of them lying around needing a framing idea. 🥰🥰😆😆
Thank you!!! You can do lots of different things to frame you DPs, but this is my favorite one! Some of my diamond paintings I put in a spiral-bound portfolio I bought on Amazon: www.amazon.com/dp/B000RORJV2?ref=exp_gbmaltese_dp_vv_d 🥰😊💖
This is very nice. As much time as you spend making the picture, I would hate to stick it in a drawer, etc., when done. Love the poster board border. Thanks for this easy tutorial.
Thank you so much for this wonderful video. I have a diamond painting which is a photo of our beloved dog who passed away and I had no idea how to finish it.
You are so welcome!! This is such an easy way to frame them and doesn't cost a fortune!! I know that your diamond painting means a lot to you - our pets are family!!
I get my frames from at the yard sales or salvation army thrifty store. And I do the same thing that you do. And also sometimes I get white poster board and I painted the white boarder best match my diamond painting thats only time if I can't find the color I need .And sometime I use canvas put my diamond painting on and frames that way I make sure the canvas fits in the frame..
I started my first Diamond Art Picture yesterday and was wondering about framing the pictures so I can hang them after they are complete. Great Tips. Well done
@@gbmaltese My older sisters are doing them and they showed me how to do it and I my first picture is a Koala and her joey as I'm an Aussie.. I wanted an Australian theme.
