  • We show you how to frame a diamond painting without a lot of money. We use three different methods to frame one diamond painting cheaply.
    You can buy these frames for under $10 easily at Walmart and Target. Watch as we seal the diamond painting using some Mod Podge and then we ready the frames for the diamond painting. All it takes is some acrylic paint, a brush, some scissors and some double sided tape.
    It is easy, fast and fun.
    Any of these sealants will work. You can buy some of them here with these affiliate links. We don't make much....maybe enough to cover the costs of making the videos.
    We used Mod Podge puzzle sealer - amzn.to/3qui6un
    Mod Podge Brilliant - amzn.to/3bpSs5w
    Aleenes Decoupage - amzn.to/3v69VI8
    and Patricia Nimcocks Clear Acrylic Sealer

    This was nice! Gave me great ideas for some small diamond paintings I never thought I would ever hang up. But now you’ve peaked my interest and I think I will give it a try. Thanks for sharing!

    Thank you for the video. I do have 2 suggestions. When you are painting the edges you can put a bowl under your canvas. That will keep it from it from sticking to the paper and give you access to all the sides. Also the wood should have a primer coat so your final coat will go on smoother and give you a better finish.

    Once you put it on the canvas place another thin coat of Mod Podge, it will help it stay on the canvas. Double-sided tape falls off after a month or two. Have done many of these this way.

    Dommage qu’il reste du blanc sur le côté gauche. Ne vaudrait il pas mieux couper à ras au cutter ? Ou passer un très léger trait de noir sur le bord du Dp pour obtenir une finition parfaite ?

    • @diamondxpres-diamondpainting
      @diamondxpres-diamondpainting  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Dawn, We use a ruler and measure just the filled in part of the canvas. Then we look for frames that are close. We found some good cheap ones at Walmart and also at Ross Dress For Less. You can also paint a canvas and then stick them to that. Check out Walmart for some good ideas. Hope this helps. Paul

    Here is probably somewhat an ignorant question as I’m rather new to the diamond art. Why is there so much white background showing in between the beads. I bought a set of four 5x7 pictures for my kids this Christmas. We’ve never done this before so decided to start small. The canvas though has the print of the picture on it. If I have an area for black beads the background is black as well same with all other colours. There are no white spots showing from behind the beads. Why is this happening with your picture?
    I got a bit to excited about this little project myself so not to take it away from my kids I bought myself a lovely sunset picture of my own. 35*35 cm (about 14x14 inches) The background canvas has the print of the picture as well, therefore it matches the colours of the beads.
    I’m mystified by it. Did your art canvas came in all white?

    • @mycreativeheart4159
      @mycreativeheart4159 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Canvas quality is dependent on the company you buy them from. Some cheaper ones will not have the picture rendered properly on the canvas and that will allow multiple colours to show through instead of the colour that should be showing.
      Of note.... round diamonds are easier to use... however, because they are round.... the colour of the canvas will show through. This is normal with the exception of the above paragraph. Square diamonds on the other hand... while harder and take more patience to place... provide a finished project that is clearer and more true to the original picture (ie.... a more pixilated picture and better rendering).... AND... because the diamonds are square.... NO background colour of the canvas will show through. Enjoy your Diamond Painting adventure! How exciting to try it with your kids!!❤❤❤
