Lovely diamond painting in a beautiful frame. Thanks for sharing such an awesome idea. I am very new to diamond painting - so I am attempting to learn and keep notes.
I'm new also. Just started DP in November. I love it and I'm having fun. Just wish I had more time. And TH-cam...never in a million years did I ever think I would do that. Thanks for watching and subscribing.
Thank you so very much. I have a few pictures I am giving as Christmas presents that I really just couldn't figure out how to frame without cutting part of it off. So Thank you again!!!
Great idea on how to frame a diamond painting!! I've seen people use poster board, but there are SO many colors available using the fabric method! I love that painting too... reminds me of the Blue Ridge Parkway... almost Heaven! :-)
Thanks I am looking for all the framing ideas I can get. I have a lot of paintings that I need to frame and give to my family 👪 I was super happy to find this one.
Great idea using fabric. But in so many of these tutorials, the glare from the glass is very distracting. Have you thought about using a non-glare cover? Yes, it's an added expense, but with the non-glare, all you see is the diamond sparkle. Just a thought.
I love the demonstration, what did not work for you last time and what did work this time when folding corners. I just finished my first diamond painting and am not sure what to do with it, until TH-cam suggested this as a recommend video. I'm so thrilled, thank you so much!!!
@@mindysdiamondmoment I really wish you knew how much! I'm a new subscriber now. And I love the thumbnails for the charts you've received as well as your shorter time frames on the videos. I hope you have a delightful day Mindy. ~*Shana
Okay so I got the quilt fabric and it worked fine. But, my double adhesive didn’t stick to my washi tape so I didn’t use it. Next one, I just used 4 pieces of 12 x 12 card stock. Used washi tape so you couldn’t see the seems. Looks beautiful. Professional. Had an unused expensive frame in the closet. A $12.99 diamond painting looks expensive. Thanks again for the tips. Just tweeted it a bit!
While watching your tip on framing, I thought I might just paint the mat. Always have lots of craft paints around. I've done that in the past with family photos! Thanks for kick starting my thought processes. :-)
@@mindysdiamondmoment that's what I love about it. I'm new to diamond art and have been looking for an easy but effective way to frame them. Thanks again for sharing this technique!!
I have been looking for a way to frame my diamond paintings and this was so helpful! I can’t be around most paint because of an allergy so this is a great idea! What is the fabric though? Sorry I’m just barely artistic. 😊
Great idea but unless you want to pay a fortune for a frame, you would not get a mount with it. I buy most of my frames from ebay but even there, the ones with mounts are a lot more expensive :-(
Thank you tons! What a great way to finish those "paintings" that we spend so much time on. Wrapping paper is also a great idea; thanks Sweetbear.
You are so welcome!
Love this frame idea. Have watched several way and ideas. I like this the most for especially a larger diamond picture. Thank you for sharing 😊
Very nice idea. I wonder how wrapping paper would work instead of fabric. Lots of possibilities. Thanks for sharing. :)
Ooh..yeah. pretty scrapbook papers out there.
Now this is a framing idea I have not seen before! Love it!
Its my favorite framing idea.
This is The absolute best idea I have seen so far. This one I will use. Thank you so much for sharing.
Just a tip to keep out wrinkling fold top then bottom and then one side then the other side. Great idea!
You did a fantastic job. I love it.

What a great idea
Picture is lovely. Thank you for sharing your framing idea
Still one of my favorite ways to frame.
This is a wonderful idea that I plan to use on my finished DP. Great video. Great explanation. Thanks a bunch
You're welcome
Looks lovley I’ve used coloured card on mine but this is very nice
Of all the framing I’ve seen on diamond drill paintings this one is the best. Thank you
Well thank you so much.
This is great. Thank you Mindy!

Smoky mountain memories. This is easy framing.
This turned out just lovely! Such a brilliant idea!!! I’ll have to go stock up on fabric. Love this idea!!!!!

Perfect application for a diamond painting. Thank you

Another great idea! Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for such a helpful video, I have three diamond paintings needing frames and you've given me the inspiration (and confidence) to get them done.
You can do it💜💜

Thank you for the tip, the painting is beautiful
Beautiful work, very nice great..!!
Thank you
You're doing great!🤗🙏💜💜💜
best idea i have seen yet
Thanks
This is a great idea. I have successfully given the mat several light coatings of acrylic paint in a color of my choice.
It's probably my favorite

If you fold in the "hospital corner" first and then do the sides, you will have sharper points
Yes...and that is how I've started doing it.
It looks beautiful! Great tip!
I enjoyed your video. It helped me out. Thank you
Great. Thank you.

Fat quarters
I just finished my first one and looking for ideas on How do I frame this? Love this idea, and you could change colors with no problems. TY
Super easy
Great idea!!!!!!!
Hi mindy I'm doing a 5D diamond painting it's A gift for someone. I'm nearly finished the next step is sealing and framing.
Cool
did you use Modge Podge before you framed it? @mindy'sDiamondMoment
No. This one is not sealed. It's behind glass.
Wow!!!!
Oh what a great idea. For the edge of the diamond painting, did you trim it right next to where the diamonds start?
Yes I did
Thanks!
Great idea 🙂 thank you
Great tips. Thank you for sharing 💖🇬🇧
Thank for sharing the idea
❤❤
Thank you for your helpful tips
You're welcome. I enjoy doing it.
Have you ever tried using washietape?
Yes.. I didn't like it. It is either bumpy, or too thin. I don't know.
Friendly dog 🐕 😊
This looks awesome. Love the way you matted this.
Is there a certain type of double tape i should use or regular double would work
Nope...any should work
Thank you, now I know what to do with all my fat quarters
Absolutely!!!
That's beautiful. Did you seal your diamond painting? In going to try this but I was told I should seal my work 1st.
I did not seal it because it's behind glass. It's protected that way. I do seal some that are not behind glass
Mine will be behind glass. I can't wait to get it done. Thank you i appreciate your quick response. ✌❤😃
What is your picture?
Van Gogh's Cafe At Night. It's my 1st one. It was relaxing and stress free.
purple was a good choice.
Yes..I think so. Thanks.
How about putting a glass on a frame 🖼???
Please answer
Not sure what you mean
@@mindysdiamondmoment I mean when I finish my job like canvas sometimes I put a glass on it because of the dust
Awesome. Thank you.
Glad you liked it.
What do you use to cut the sides and top off the diamond painting?
Scissors
What do you seal your diamond dot pictures with?
I don't seal many
Did you seal your dp before framing?
No
My favorite!
The purple page lay what page was at ?
Did you seal the painting first before framing? I am wondering if sealing is necessary if I am going to frame it.
I did not deal this one because it went behind glass.
Okay. Thanks.
That means no need to seal if it is behind glass?
I don't seal behind glass
Is it better to maybe use a mat glass?
Do you mean like a museum type class? Something with less glare. If so, probably. More expensive.
I am not sure if it has to be a museum one but I think we can find mat glass. I will find out. Thanks.
Awesome..thanks
Why not just use the matting?
I wanted a colored border
Walmart has a double sided hem tape that would probably hold the fabric more secure. It's just as thin as regular double sided tape.
Oh nice...maybe.😄
We can totally see you are smoking in the reflection of the piece. LOL!
Um..ok..lol
Great idea but unless you want to pay a fortune for a frame, you would not get a mount with it. I buy most of my frames from ebay but even there, the ones with mounts are a lot more expensive :-(
I get a lot of them from Walmart, pretty inexpensive.
@@mindysdiamondmoment I'm in the UK. We don't have a Walmart, wish we did...everything seems to be more expensive over here!
Ahh..gotcha. That stinks.
Easier to use a paint wash
Awww, but this looks so nice when it's done.
648 views?!?!?! wowza
I know..right. I'm shocked.
