    Dave, I had EXACTLY the same problem with my B2601 as you show here!!! In fact, I watched your video trying to find the reason why my tractor was doing the same thing. I tried everything to fix it. I finally had to bring a technician over to my island on a water taxi and he finally figured out what the problem was. It turned out to be a bad/clogged fitting/coupler in the hydraulic line going back to the backhoe. The backhoe, you say?? Yes…and it’s because the line actually routes through the third function unit and back through the backhoe before it returns upfront. Check out your couplers back at the backhoe and see if that solves the problem. It sure did for me! Literally, the EXACT same problem and frustration. Reach out to me if you want to discuss with me privately. Rob

    I have seen this problem before. It was faulty couplers coming from the loader. Some times they would force the Coupler apart enough to close the Coupler and block the oil. Hope this helps.

    I've had the same thing happen and I think there is something to do with a priority valve. Mine was caused by having the 3-point lever all the way in the up position and it was like it was never fully getting to position 9. All I had to do was move the 3-point lever to 8.5 and then instantly the loader worked again.

    Try pushing the lever to the R2 position, by pushing the control to the right and further until you hit the next click. It is my understanding this equalizes and puts oil on both of the sides of the hydraulic piston and it should work then. Watching your video, when you push the control lever to the R2 position, the bucket worked correctly after that. I understand sometimes going up and down quickly you may not have the oil on the back-side of the cylinder. I had a similar problem with my 2601 with the third-function which ties to the main controller. Sometimes the grapple was real slow closing. Found out from the service man I purchased it from, click the control lever to R2 and then try the 3rd again, and the claw closes normally. You're moving a lot of fluid quickly for a small tractor (we all do it). Try it, I hope it helps.

    Well im from the automotive side of things and typically when something like this happens you have to trace everything that has to do with the loader like switches maybe the way the lever is making contact with the switch might loose or not making good contact. As if something is loose or not lined up properly. Do a pressure check to see if the system isn't running at specific pressures etc. Hope you get it fixed. I really want this exact tractor you have.

    Sorry you're having trouble with you're not loader. I have 21 Mahindra 1626 mine was hanging when dumping bucket I pulled boot off shifter checked bolts one was super tight other 3 wasn't loosened one up worked great have 275 hours on it now. The thing that's got me is if you grab lower on stick it works it may be a little loose. Know you love the tractor I get that if they don't get it fixed the 1626 Mahindra is a work horse and does really good on fuel just option I love mine and have tried other tractors that won't work with it. But you do have a sweet tractor. Good luck hopefully the big dog will fix it. Thanks for sharing be safe

    I'm thonkong it works be in your controller at the handle. One of the buttons is shorting. It is telling solenoid that a button is being pressed, therefore bypassing the valve. When you pull back on just the stick (lower down), you're not pulling on that handle - therefore, it's not making that contact, causing this.
    Did you ever get this figured out? What was your resolve?

    Hi. I have a 2021 B2601 with the LA435 loader. My loader does the exact same thing! I have 50 hours on the machine with about half that on the loader. I am going to do the 50 hour service at the dealership and will address the problem then. Also, one of the loader stand brackets is welded on about 15 degrees off square. This throws the stand function completely off. I am going to see how Kubota warranty supports these issues.

    • @IOwnCalculus
      @IOwnCalculus ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Interested if you've got a photo or video of that welding issue because I've got a 2021 B2301 with the same loader and I suspect it might have the same issue - I've never been able to get the kickstand to drop, but I haven't bothered chasing it down further with the dealer because I rarely need to pull the loader off of the tractor (as in, I haven't pulled it off yet, though it would've been nice for the 50-hour)

    @jeremysecrest7553 ปีที่แล้ว +6

    Do you think you could be hitting the third function buttons diverting flow? The buttons are located on the front of your stick and does it when lifting but not if you move your hand lower on the stick. If you are certain you arent touching the buttons I would say it is something loose, bent or possible the lock out pin in the vale block.

    • @timbertimeoutdoors9836

      We have tried many things and it still sticks from time to time. I am now hearing some other B2601 owners complaining about the loader smoothness. In the grand scheme, this is a lower priced machine so I guess I can't expect it to be perfect. At the end of the day, the B2601 always gets the work done. Just a little annoying at times.

  • @jollyg83
    @jollyg83 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Could it be an issue with the 3rd function? Maybe it’s engaging on its own and taking flow away to the other functions. Maybe try disabling the 3rd function and seeing if that helps. I have a B2650 and haven’t experienced that problem.

    • @timbertimeoutdoors9836
      @timbertimeoutdoors9836  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Agree. This seems to be the likely place to focus on. Dealer said they did some test but couldn't repeat the issue. Its so random and they just don't have time to run it all day to find the problem. I am going to unplug the 3rd function and see if the problem goes away. This should tell me if its the loader verses the 3rd function per another comment suggestion made.

    Same tractor with FEL and third function, one additional rear power port, backhoe, mid-mount mower, 55" commercial snow blower, 48 hours. During last mow of the season (FEL and backhoe removed) tractor became sluggish and engine temp climbed. I let it cool and restarted fine. Attached FEL and it would not lift. Not even enough to stow the stand nor disconnect. Field technician called. Master hydraulic return quick disconnect valve on rear had failed. We cannibalized same quick disconnect fitting off of backhoe and everything worked perfectly. Kubota warranty.
    Also, all four FEL quick tach valves were leaking and making a horrible mess. Kubota knows this historical problem and has a lifetime replacement campaign and redesigned valves. All four were replaced under warranty. Field tech said they cost about $180 each when I enquired about making four deadheads to stop leaking when FEL is not attached. Fingers crossed that the leaks do not reappear when the mower deck is back on for next summer. Configured for snow now!

Once bucket is fully curled it stops raising. I had to un curl then curl and raise again. This is how I got the tractor back to house. I have found that the loader doesn’t go up when 3rd function is activated in the downward stroke of my grapple. • @09X19
      @09X19 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I agree I think it’s the third function cutting off the flow to the raise function. Pull the 3rd function fuse (in line fuse off the battery likely). If it goes away…your either hitting the buttons accidentally (particularly with gloves on) or there is a short in that button housing. My loader (b2301) was ‘freezing’ one day while using the grapple. Then the light bulb went off I was hitting the buttons while pulling back on the stick. I ain’t the sharpest knife. 🙄

    • @timbertimeoutdoors9836
      @timbertimeoutdoors9836  ปีที่แล้ว

      Very possible. That definitely stop the loader if you hit a button by mistake. That is very repeatable. However, I can make this happen sometime if I pull back at an angle or even straight an not on the buttons. Hard to figure this one out.

  • @robwilton2325
    @robwilton2325 ปีที่แล้ว

    If the loader is not self levelling it will have a device fitted to prevent you from raising the loader with the bucket rolled back and Potentially having the load come over the back of the bucket onto the front of the machine. I had a Case compact tractor that did exactly the same as your tractor.

      I really wish it worked better. Tractor is just perfect size for my usage and property.
