- Does PhotoScape X work on Windows 11? Throughout my testing, I found the PhotoScape X is fully functional on Windows 11. Photoscape X works exactly like it did on Windows 10.

super hope more video of programs PhotoScape
Got any suggestions? I don't do video and am not looking to earn $ as my retirement fund is quite satisfactory. However, that being said I am working on a User Manual/Tutorial for many items in PSX and will offer it to folks like Nathan if desired to provide it to others. I could create the .pdf now but I am hoping that there will be some suggestions and hopefully too, I will either know or can learn the solution and then export the current Libre Office .odt file to .pdf than can be viewed on a computer, tablet or phone with a .pdf reader.
Yes, I’ll make more
When you made the change to Windows 11 did all of your apps and settings automatically go to the new browser?
Thanks,
Ben
PhotoScape X was exactly the same.
I know its a couple of years since you posted this video. I been using Photoscape X Pro on a laptop without any issues. However i have tried to install it on another machine. The install bit works great as does editing JPG files, however editing RAW files the software just shuts down within 2-3 seconds. Thanks Adrian
I have had PhotoScape X crash when I push it too much with tons of layers. It is odd that it crashes right off the bat. Can you try editing a raw photo with a low file size to go easy on it and see if it still crashes?
Hi Nathan,
Do you think PhotoScape X Pro is better for making photo adjustments than Photoshop or Gimp?
Thanks,
Ben
I think photoscape X is the the best free photo editing. If you're wanting to use a paid option I would recommend Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom or affinity photo. If you know how to use gimp and you've already learned it you might just stick with gimp for now.
@@BriNathanCollins Many thanks. I have used Photoshop for a while, but never learned of its full uses. I use PhotoScape X Pro, and find it very user friendly. I'm glad you are there making helpful videos for PhotoScape.
Hi why can't I seem to print to size even if I change settings to custom, A3 but I want my printable size to be 280 x 408 that is still little smaller than A3 full but it messes the whole image size up, where I had no issues with the free edition, tx Debbie South Africa
I’ll see what I can find.
I've just been violently forced to use a Windows 11 laptop with FHD display (as opposed to UHD which I had before) - and now have to use screen magnifier in order to read the Photoscape X interface. With other apps I can go into Properties and change the DPI settings under Compatibility, but not with PS-X, presumably because it's been installed via the Microsoft Store ??? Should it be possible to enlarge the fonts/text/whatever you call it? Many thanks if you can help, I'm desperate! 🥹
In the operating system settings, you should be able to change the resolution or text/font size for the monitor.
