I have a Photoscape X installed on a Mac and I was wondering if there is a Histogram included in the program because I been looking for it and I can't find it...can anybody help?...thanks!

I looked into it this morning and there are some tools like brush stroke, unfortunately none of them seem to work extremely well. I’ll make a video on it in the coming days.

I have a question, i have been using cricut design space and they have a slicing tool, how do i slice an image, like i can take a digital background, lay a number 8 on top, slice it and my number eight then is filled with the digital background, does this photoscape have that kind of tool, if so can u do a tutorial? Also like putting photo inside my own shapes. Thanks for responding quickly.
Yes I believe you are able to do that. I will see about making a video on it in the coming weeks.
I've been using an online A.I. (Deep Dream Generator) to turn photos into paintings and there are always things it misinterprets. With the help of your tutorials I am now able to correct most of those A.I. mistakes. Thanks so much.
I haven't yet gone really in-depth so perhaps you could save me the bother of looking for something that might not be there... is it possible to superimpose an image onto a background image of an actual canvas so that you can still see the canvas texture?
Yes, there are some overly options. I would encourage you to look up my video about how to change the color of a car because it goes over some of those overly options. you also could look at textures.

If I upgrade to the pro version on Microsoft store, how much/often are the upgrades?
Unfortunately the last update to PhotoScape X was back in 2020, so I don't know if they're even going to update photos keep X anymore. Most likely the pro version is just going to cost you about $30, but if you're going to pay that much you might take a look at Affinity Photo if you want a software that is continuously getting updates and new features.
Do you know if there's a way to change from pixels to inches when creating a "New" image (4:24)? Can't seem to figure that out. Thanks!
Do you know the resolution of the project you're working on. You can put something like 400x2400 and that will be the correct ratio.

Nathan, is it possible to mask an area of the picture for instance, to increase its saturation, apply it but copy the mask created and reuse it in the same area for, lets say, blur it or change it's brightness? In fact what I'm looking for is to create one mask and use it for different functions. I have Photoscape X Pro.

@@BriNathanCollins Great, thanks. I do use photoshop but my wife uses photoscape x and is not willing to learn PS and she complains of having to remask the areas all the time... 😞

wonder if you ever obtained an answer but if hot, then here it is.
with an image open, choose something you might wish to do. EG. sharpen. then look to see where it says Mask and then look for the brush and once more look to the R of the brush and see (...) and R click and use save. Now if you wish to do another adjustment or option that offers a masking capability, navigate to the same (...) and paste - voila the mask is on the same location and now you can apply an adjustment or invert and apply the chosen adjustment to the other portion of the image you wish to affect.

Nathan, I noticed when I change the orientation of an image from a horizontal layout to vertical (and it saves it automatically) - using free version - it takes away a GB from my image quality. Do you know why this is??

When I went to save the rotated photo I clicked save and the page opened to show how I wanted to save the photo. I dragged the JPEG Quality to 100% and saved it.
Most likely when your saving it you are saving at 95% which is fine, but the file size may change due to the quality slider. at 95% and below PhotoScape must be trying to lower the file size of the photo so it's easier to share. So if you need the best quality go to save and drag the JPEG sider to 100%.

Please Help! I am a beginner to PhotoScape X. (On Macbook Pro.) I can't find the photos I edited & saved to clipboard. I have tried everything but can't find the Clipboard with it's content. I have watched your beginner videos, but you don't mention it.
When you select an image and “copy to clipboard” it means you can paste it. Just like when you use copy and paste with text. The image isn’t saved in any file it’s just waiting to be pasted. What she’ll need to do is actually save your image normally and remember that when you copy the clipboard it’s just waiting to be pasted, but it’s not saved in a file.
Hopefully that helps and if it’s still confusing I can make a video.

I tried it on RAW files and could not find support for loading lens profiles. I emailed the developer for support and got no reply. Eventually, I just gave up and switched to RAW Therapee. Too bad... it had promise otherwise.

In the edit tab there is a document enhancer tool. Try that and it should help with restoring the receipt

recently mcafee total protection in my pc just expiry after one year free trial ,every time starting the pc will pop up a notification tell about this !
after that i found " photoscape x " can't be use !
but now it's totally can't be use anymore ,everything is show " pro " version icon / watermark in top left ,not sure is this because expiry of McAfee or they change the T&C of use !

That’s really weird. Personally, I would uninstall McAfee and uninstall PhotoScape X, and reinstall PhotoScape X and see if that works.

Hey ,now i kbow what cause this happened !
Because i want to upload some photo on my phone to somewhere ,but that it's .HEIC format photo ,when i want upload the photo on that mobile app , i can't see that HEIC format photo ,that means this is not supported format file to upload on there .
So i transfer that .HEIC format photo to pc ,and then change the file extension name .HEIC to .jpg ,so this action cause the problem that i say can't be use or do any editing on PhotoScape X , i try use any other photo drag and drop to PhotoScape X ,it can run and use normally ,and also change the file extension name from .jpg to original .HEIC format ,now it' OK right now 😂😂😂

I love and use it on Mac OS but the Tool has massive Problems for Germany and the Colorspace because no CYMK Support. The Photoscape Team don't answer to Mails I think there are closed the Project X. I think Updates never come in future
Yeah, we haven’t had an update since last year in January.
Didn't you post a video a few months ago that you weren't going to recommend Photoscape X anymore because they weren't doing updates? Why the change of heart?
PhotoScape X is still the best free option out there (currently), even without updates. For me, I'm moving to Adobe and Affinity because they are better paid options in my opinion.
