So happy to see you are back! I say all the time how much work gets in the way of my stitching 😉 Hope you are having a great summer! Thank you for sharing all your wonderful goodies with us.
Wow the alphabet project is huge! The mini bouquets are so adorbs!!! I'm so happy you were able to record again - I missed you! You've done some incredible work!! Looking forward to more!!
Good to see your new post Ryan. You did a beautiful job on your scissor fob/ring bling. Your mini bouquets are gorgeous and I love how you are sharing so many different ideas for finishing them. Have fun with your stitches until next time!
Thank you so much! I'm glad you're enjoying my projects. I think I'll be stretching for ideas, though, knowing I have to come up with 12 unique ones! :)
Thank you so much! Jacob’s designs are definitely enjoyable to stitch. Did you know he’ll be coming to Ontario next year for a special retreat? It ought to be quite the event!
Oh those alphabets!!! I have the same Owl Forest thistle kit, perhaps another sal for later this year! Thanks for sharing all your wonderful creativity and happy stitching, crafting, new starts, sals and pride 🌈💐🧶
Awww thanks! And aren't her kits aweseom! I think a SAL is definitely in order. I have several thistle projects and want to get moving on several of them.
Hi Ryan, that was a great video. Those tiny treasures made me happy. I’m hoping your tiny stitch project shows up in your next video. Perhaps you’ll find some love and compassion this week as your neighborhood celebrates Pride. Craft corner is such fun. Take care
That's such a kind and thoughtful thing to say, Sarah! I'm so glad you enjoy them. :) And I don't think I can handle another activity like making fobs and whatnot, but I can't seem to help myself!
@@RyRyMcGuy I completely understand. I have certainly gone full bore into several hobbies in my 70 years. I still enjoy the occasional work with beads, but cross stitch is my passion for now.
@@SarahsStitchySpot I think many of us crafters love exploring different avenues and outlets for our creativity, and cross stitch is a great one to have. @@RyRyMcGuy The range of patterns, silks, overdyed floss and fabrics, along with this amazing community of stitchers continues to challenge and give me great satisfaction.
Glad to see your video pop up Ryan! I love all of your mini bouquets and alphabets!! I know you can find a glass frog that will fit in your gorgeous pottery bowl for your scissors. With them displayed standing up, your fobs would be on glorious display!!!
Thank you, Margaret! And that's an excellent idea for the scissors. I think those types of frogs should be fairly easy to find on the second hand market. I'll have to keep an eye out.
I’m so happy to have found your channel. I’ve been catching up on your old videos while stitching on my Modern Folk Embroidery Myr for Ukraine stitch, thinking about you and your family. I hope everything is well and we get a new video soon! ❤️
Welcome to the club, Katerra! And I appreciate your kind words. It's been truly horrid over there and I can't wait for some better news. And I'm definitely planning to record a new video in the next few days, so keep an eye out! Happy stitching!

Another lovely flosstube! (This is Thornsilver Hollysong--I'm on my crafty account!) I love how much care and delight you show to your craft. Also, fellow gay man here. Happy Pride! It brought tears to my eyes when you mentioned the progress flag, because I am trans. I also agree with you about how it feels like we just have to survive sometimes. But on a happy note, I love your adventures in shiny accessories. Beading is something I'd like to do more of, too.
I'm so grateful that you enjoyed my little video! Thank you. I'm nervous that beading is also something I want to do more of. Like we all need yet another craft, right?!? Wishing you a wonderful weekend in solidarity!
Ah, like many of my favourite stitchers, you are joining their rank as an enabler, I just ordered a couple of needle minders from Chapel View Crafts,oh my it was hard to choose, such unique and ‘sweet’ minders. It’ll be a Mother’s Day gift from my very patient and understanding husband. Aren’t Jacob’s designs the bomb… I’ve got a few smaller charts from him, for now 😂, I know that at one point or another I’ll acquire more. As usual, I find your videos so entertaining, you’re a joy to watch. Cheers from Eastern 🍁 Canada 🇨🇦
Honestly, I think Flosstube is essentially a community of enablers. I can't tell you the number of times I watch someone on my laptop while I'm simultaneously searching for designs they mentioned. My credit card is on a bit of a holiday this year, though, as I go shopping in my own stash of charts. 😂 Aren't those needle minders too cute for words? I also have a collection of stitch markers for knitting and they're just as charming. She really is very talented. Maybe one day, I'll splurge on one of her framed picnic or cabinet pieces. And yes, Jacob's work is fantastic. His taste is spot on for my liking and one of his SALs still holds the record for the largest piece I've stitched so far. It's so frustrating that there's so many talented designers and so little time to stitch everything, but I'm sure I'll always have at least one of his pieces in my active WIP pile. 🥰
So many great things in this video... Love your big coral MFE finish, drooled over the Sajou loot - especially the tins with tiny spools of thread! I first learned about Sajou from your flosstube and I am slightly obsessed :) And I had to smile when you mentioned Doodleart, that sure brought back a 1970s haze of memories. Happy Pride!
For me, Doodleart will always be associated with being sick. My mom always had one on hand to give us if we were ever stuck at home with a cold or something. And if you don't mind paying for the expensive shipping, head over to the Sajou site now. They're having a sale! I'd also recommend you sign up for their email alerts and newsletters. They don't flood you with them and the ones they do share have good info. Cheers!
Love that bling you are doing. I have a VERY OLD Crown Royal metal box that I have carried around the world with me that stores all my jewellery making bling.
