I used ground belts from time to time, even before the nerf. Their specialty is that since they pen, you can typically hit the engines from behind, reliably. Or the pilot. The do more damage, but only along the path their traveling, so if you can aim engines, they're good.
gaijin ruined the guns on basically every planes but the 20mm hispano is the most affected i think. The french MB.157 for example is now way harder to play, for the context it has only 120 rounds of 20mm, it's one of my favorite aircraft in the game. Before the nerf i used to be able to do 4-5 kills games but now if i get 2 i'm happy, i'm shooting nerf darts.
how do you get such crisp graphics for vr? i have a 4090 and an oculus quest pro and everything is pretty blurry. i ave my settings maxed out and it looks the same
When I recorded this the only thing I used was Microsoft open XR tools (not to be confused with the 3rd party app open XR toolkit) and upped the res to 140-150%. These days I also now use the aforementioned open XR toolkit and set the rendering to CAS and also increase the sharpness to 100% in there. Makes quite a difference. I use a G2 so all the windows stuff works natively with it, not sure how you apply this to an oculus.

This is because of real shatter. Real shatter nerfs any shell that relies on fragmentation for damage.

I think I had stealth in the hispanos and universal in the .50 cal. Might go back to air target belts and see if that makes any difference
