I’ve played out all the spitfires, and the low tier ones have shit guns, that’s why people say they suck because of the guns. Once you get the higher teir ones; they get better engines and guns. But they are still pretty slow. At a point, nobody but zeros will fight you. They will literally run. Once you get to the mk22 and 24, you ALWAYS fight jets, and they will run every notherfucking time and you can’t do shit. It’s extremely frustrating. But if in some circumstance you get a downtier against props, YOU ABSOLUTELY DOMINATE
As a Britain main, here's a Spitfire secret - the best Spitfire in the game is the Mk1a (or I think they call it the (e) now). The second-best one is the 5.7 MkIX I will not elaborate

Once you get cannons though, select the belt with the most high explosive and you're basically set you can out turn anything other than a zero, and wreck people.
My only problem with the Hurricanes was the amount of compression it suffers from at dives and in a few turns, also the engine, most planes at this br can just run from it. But I managed to get a hold of it. The one with the 20mils is good tho, still suffers from being slow

It seems like you are running out of video ideas and i suggest you playing reserv to top tier if i kill you i take your plane but it has to be the first plane you kill if you get multiple you are not allowed to choose which one

for me its the Mk9 (4.3) or the MkIIB at (3.7), though the Mk1 is always a classic
I'm not such a huge fan of the mkI, as the cooling is horrible, imo the 5.7 griffons are best.
