One way I've found to easily determine whether or not an aircraft is AI or not is to see if the wing vortices come up in a tight turn. If they do they are a player and if they don't its an AI.
@@involuntarycommander8804 hahaha I had a SS where shoji and ryo were turnfighting at 10km at prestall speed. I they removed from the fórum hahaha. But the worst was the way they flyed was só stupud hahaha
Spitfires seem so fun, i fly SIM with P-51's and P-38's mainly and i do pretty well with them, with those planes dogfights a good idea only in very certain circumstances. Nice flying!
I agree that the p51 and p38 require you to choose which fight to pick. They are nice planes. I am a bit scared of not being able to recover from a dive in the p38 though ^^ takes practise I guess.
@@involuntarycommander8804 lol yeah, i Have crashed because of The P-38 compression like once or twice and i Have played The game For 7 years now. But that feeling when you realise you cannot recover anymore still haunts me haha Usually 720km/h redline is fast enough For most situations And with good manouvering i seldom find myself Limited For it. And i loooove The P-38's guns, i snipe bombers far away
Please make more war thunder sim videos! I enjoy them a lot! A quick question though. Have you done anything specific with your graphics settings to be able to spot people easier? I find it impossible to spot and keep track of people, especially if Im up high.
Hey man, I appreciate it! Now I got encouraged to make more. Thanks! Sadly, I have no special settings to help with spotting. I only use the highest quality settings. Don't know if that helps. Spotting from up high is tricky on "land maps" where low flying aircraft can blend in amongst the trees. I look for tracers and close to ground targets and always fly to capture A point if I want action. 😀
Hi Commander, i really like your video, keep it up the good work, you are awesome! Just wondering can you please upload a profile/configuration for your trackIR? Yours feels so much better and more natural than mine, and i don't really know how to properly adjust my own figure...
The contols for the Spitfire need to be restrained a bit to be managed I've noticed. But when set properly the spitfire is hard to beat in a dogfight! Totally worthwhile to learn!
Like because you fly the spitfire so good. Man i am jealous i cant fly that airplane. All the time that i must turn rate fight i go into flatspin. Its the only airplane that gives me so much hard time. Question do you use sense of flight and if yes how much?
It is a tricky aircraft to learn. But when you know how to control it properly, it is deadly. I can give you a tip, adjust your pitch sensitivity so that you cannot flatspin in that particular plane and save the setting. Good luck to you. Also, I'm releasing a new video on the spitfire soon!
@@involuntarycommander8804 Ma dude you are right...i increase a bit the deadzone and reduced a lot from what i had the pitch sensetivity and now it is like im flying a new airplane. Still it is different from the US planes im used to fly but you right the moment you get behind them these 2 20cannons are no joke. I cant wait for your new video with the spitfire.
Try to reduce the pitch sensitivity a bit. Use test flight to set the sensitivity so that you can apply full pitch without loosing control. Remember that this might affect your ability to recover from a steep dive. Also it's some muscle memory involved and you can feel the aircraft shake when it is about to stall. I hope this answer helps you in taming the spitfire;)
@@involuntarycommander8804 Me to honestly but I found dogfights with full fuel tank to hard when I'm facing Japanese planes. I'm using Plagis Spit. I can see even a difference between a dogfight with 15 min of fuel vs a dogfight with 5 min of fuel in maneuverability. Still, it requires one to be extremely cautious when deciding on where to fly and how to manage power in a plane and sometimes can end in finishing a dogfight with 00:30 sec of fuel left -.-
@mariusz5938 yeah I guess I have had to many close calls with fuel time. Kinda stresses me out :) Also in the spitfire you kinda get to choose if you want to dogfight a zero or not since you can outrun them in my experience. Another factor is the skill of the opponents. If I know an enemy is very skilled I might reduce the fuel I bring just to give myself the best chances :) if less skilled opponents I might increase fueltime in order to kill more opponents in one single flight. Interesting question, ty :)
I use 400m to be able to take shots from further away for aircraft with wing mounted guns. I don't remember what vertical targeting is, could you remind me? :)
@@involuntarycommander8804 im the same idk why but it feels like alot of wind is pushing really hard on the nose of spits and make it feel unstable in flight a little, other planes dont do that spits feel horrible idk why
