Thanks Jim, I realised after I did part 1 that my microphone was too close to my face. It picked up my breathing too much. Part 2 will be better since I move the mic down away from my face. I will be loading part 2 sunday as a premiere next Wednesday. I'm editing a new one making a spare tire mount on the boat trailer. When I got the boat the trailer didn't have one? I didn't want to have the boat stuck on the side of the road with no spare available. Thanks again for watching and commenting. I'm getting closer to 1k. Not going to put in for the money from ads when I do. Being on a fixed income don't want to screw with my taxes. I'm more excited about having the community tab option. I do plan on asking for paypal donations though to make better videos.
The actual part number for the 60hp merc and a bunch of other motors is 46-812966A12. They have them on Amazon. Check out my Amazon Influencer store and buy it from there. Store ID amzn.to/4d888Ha
Hey Tim I took the second plate off from under the impeller and the shift shaft and seal came up with it. Do you have any idea how to get it back in? It’s up about half an inch higher than it was before it came out and now nothing I do is helping to get it back in place and I’m concerned the motor will now come out of gear
No problem, I get that actually more than you would think. Most folks like me don't watch all of the videos but just search for what they need. The detail I put into these videos is for folks who either just watch for entertainment or looking for other things within the video. For me I just like doing these videos plus I'm always learning as I go myself. Thanks for watching👍
Super helpful buddy. Thanks!!! Happy fishin!!!
Thanks for watching and glad it helped. Working on a 1964 honda trail bike. Way different than I have ever worked on before. Pretty cool
Seeing that impeller it's a good thing you are replacing it but I hope you manage to get the correct parts soon.....pt2 here we come

@@TimsWorkshopTJY can't wait to see you hit that 1k Tim!!!!!
I have same outboard. What Sierra number is the correct impeller? 18-3056 or 18-8900m
I'll look it up. West marine will sell you the wrong one so I used an old good one that was left on the boat compartment for tackle
They had the 18-3056. Seems kind of wide from what I remember.

Hi Dillion, if your talking about the drive shaft oil seal that's 1" in diameter just use the same diameter socket to tap it back down
What year motor is this 60hp
It's a 1996 runs great 👍
What year is that motor?
Sorry, you said in video it's a 96. Thanks.
