Used this method today and boom! Red Dead is working again! Only thing is after doing the fix you need to reboot your computer for the changes to take effect. Worked like a charm. Thanks Adonis!

Omg... I cant believed this worked thank you so much. Im subscribing to you bc your the 1st youtuber whos ever given me advice that actually worked regarding gaming problems. I've been emailing those idiots at rockstar for weeks and everything they suggest dosent work its been so frustrating. They actually stopped responding to me now bc they literally have no clue what they're doing. I tried to return the game twice on steam but they denied me cuz my gameplay has bee too long which is BS cuz I haven't even owned the game for a month. How that's acceptable in any company's eyes is beyond me.

I also got the game working. It first said the game launched but it never popped up. All i had to do was check the box for the fullscreen optimisation and it started right up. Thanks ! Been at it for 2 days even with the rockstar support chat.
