Honestly, I thought my pop socket was hopeless! I bought one on their website and put a custom picture on it so it would match my case, but when it came and I used it for a while, the sticky part wore off pretty fast and before I knew it, my pop socket was constantly falling off my phone. I tried switching the tops with a pop socket that was still sticky but that didn’t work because they’re two different kinds. It got to the point where the adhesive wasn’t sticky at all, so I didn’t think this would work, but I’m so happy it did!!I’m honestly so glad I found this video. I didn’t want to have to buy a new one, so this video really really helped! It seems to stick better than it did when I got it!!

I started mine now but am glad people are saying it works. I thought it won’t considering that my pop socket wasn’t that sticky and I was worried that this method won’t work.
Updated: I tried this trick which did work but only shortly. My case has a texture surface and probably not helping. I have ended up buying a pack from 3M with stickers, which so far is working wonders. They are also much more specific in their guide on the orep, cleaning and applying process as well as to not use the popsocket 24 h after, for maximum effect.
Theres no set number, however with my experience you can do this method between 5-10 times before the adhesive will finally start to actually deteriorate off the pop socket. Then once the adhesive is completely gone you can always replace the adhesive pad to stretch more life out of your Popsocket instead of buying a brand new one. Um that’s not true at all. A real legit popsocket (not some cheap knockoff) has a patented proprietary gel adhesive that is literally designed to be reused. And even once it stops being sticky you can wash the gel adhesive with water, let it air dry, and it’s sticky again, like I show in the video

I try copy youtube but said warm water hmm I tried warm and I try clean dirty and but drain water and dry 30 minute to 6 minute, I don30 min and after 30 min, I missed 31 min. I doubted that the trick works for me, because my popsocket hung not only full of coarse dirt, but above all with fine powder, since I am a powder coater by profession, but it has worked really surprisingly well and finally keeps it right again. Thumbs up!👍🏼

You could try giving it a quick wash again. And while it’s still wet take a blow dryer to it for a few months and try to apply it while the gel is still warm, let it cool, then it should be good
Sadly, it's a brand NEW PopSocket that will not adhere. It still had the plastic cover on the adhesive side, but will not stay on my brand new, clean Samsung silicone phone case. So do you have any tips for this kind of problem? Thanks!

You are definitely right it so does not work with cold water lol I used hot water and let it dry and its sticking to my phone real strong thanks so much :)
you know you can just replace the socket itself instead of the part you hold onto right? or just replace adhesive which would be less costly and most likely last longer
I just bought a new case that would accommodate a pop socket, put in on and decided I didn’t find the placement helpful. I tried to remove it using a card to get under the edge and I got it halfway up with a bit of trouble, and then it cracked/bent 😢 I removed it all the way, and the adhesive is really messed up and clumpy. This did not help with that.
That means it’s not a genuine popsocket. It is a knock off brand (nothing against buying cheaper phone grips, but the cheaper ones don’t have the ability to restick like the actual popsockets do, due to the type of adhesive used. You could replace your foam sticker with a replacement like I show in this video th-cam.com/video/NMsAs4NzfEo/w-d-xo.html

It really depends on a few factors, such as if you have removed and reapplied it before and the condition of the adhesive. You can always give it a go and if it doesn’t work I have a video that shows you how to replace the adhesive disc for cheap so you can have a like new sticky popsocket
The bottom of my popsocket is black. I was impossible to take it off. But I damaged the glue. It's very strong. Not like thar clear bottom you have. Can the bottom glue be replaced?
Ye its work with Without Case / With case / SUPER case. but doest work on like case wool are bad. but no wool, like hand Smooth its working with only Smooth.
Once the adhesive came off the popsocket side, i would wash/clean that side too, let it dry and see if you can sandwich it all together and get it to stick, if not I would recommend replacing the adhesive. i have a video showing how to do that and also a link to some nice strong adhesive disks. Is it a soft flexible type silicone case?

So I have a metal pop socket, and after I applied it on, the pop socket top just won’t stay on. WHAT DO I DO??
