Turns out her Pop Socket couldn't be fixed anyway but she got a replacement free of charge so it's not all bad. 😊

I 100% agree that its easier for the PopSocket to be placed in the lower third of the phone on larger phones (I have the iPhone 8 Plus), it feels much better in my hand that far down as opposed to in the middle where I originally had it. I think it really depends when it comes to texting and such because I find the popsocket on the bottom is harder to reach my apps and text and such. I think it would be better in the middle of my phone and easier for as far as texting goes and such
I know this is one of your older videos. But I do have a question about popsockets that I can't seem to figure out. I got a scotch magnetic. Phone holder for my car it came with a little round magnet and it says you can put it inside the pop socket. Yes. Can't figure? Out how to open it? Have you ever heard of this?
That might be from a long time ago and they used to have the top that came off of the actual base but they don’t have those anymore. They exchange them for the model that has the top that comes off when you turn it.
the 3m adhesive circles and gorilla mounting tape are good adhesive replacements. I have used the same base for a long while now, I have new ones, but I prefer using the tape adhesives. it's also a good way to attach a popsocket to a silicone case.
I definitely need to purchase a real popsocket😂 to many times my phone has smacked me in my face while i watched videos lying down amazing video Kimbyr 😍 very informative
Good tips because I have small hands and I’m planning to upgrade from the SE to the 11pro. Huge jump. Maybe I’ll put it under the Apple logo. Going to get a tempered glass back case so I know the pop will stick. I watch videos on my iPad anyway.

Nice video. The only thing I missed is how the phone looks when the popsocket is placed more towards the bottom (def easier for texting) and you want to place it on a surface landscape to watch a video. Just to see if it may work in any way.
Just so you know "rigid" means "stiff" or "unable to bend". I think what you meant to say was "ridged" which means "having ridges" and is pronounced differently. Could be confusing to some people. Otherwise useful video.
Note: cases can be very expensive, and u or ur parents may not want to spend money on many cases just for different pop sockets. So do a double pop socket, but not like what she showed in the beginning. Put one in the middle, and the other in the bottom third. Therefor u can text easily, take pictures with ease, hold ur phone better, and stand it up to watch videos easily. And u can be using both at the same time, that’s what I usually do. U can just be using the bottom one, or just the top one too. I hope at least someone found this helpful, because it really helps me too with my plus.
I have my 1st pop socket.. off brand probably.. it was a free gift .. but I was excited to have one and waited to use it till I got a new phone (company switch).. yesterday was that day! Got a wireless charger pad as part of a b2g1 50%off deal.. yay! I put the popsocket on in the center.. couldn't charge. I was bummed. Tried it lower and I thought I got it to charge bit wasn't sure I liked the lower location. Saw your video and decided to try again. I almost need it at the bottom edge for this wireless charger to work. When at home a cord is a pain n I've had so many break at the cord or get damaged in a phone or the phone port get messed up.... so now I'm torn.. popsocket or charging pad. Sigh :(
You need a pop grip love, all you do is take the top off and it charges perfectly but it also depends on what type of case you’re using because if the case is too thick then that’s a problem as well but if you’re just putting it on your phone you’re definitely going to need a pop grip the original pop socket and any fake one is not going to let you charge your phone that way.

girl ikr, I used a ring on my iphone 7+, it was positioned on the middle and it was so hard to text, like my fingers are stretching out, now I have a popsocket and i positioned it on the bottom.
