The amount of times one of our animals has tricked us into feeding them a second meal.
As someone with ADHD it is SO HARD when my pet acts like they haven't eaten. I start questioning myself because of my memory issues, and I need confirmation from my boyfriend to make sure she's been fed 😂

Hubby and I parked our old desk chairs in front of our bay window while we were unpacking and enjoying our new chairs. The next morning the cats had each claimed a chair and now, of course, we can't get rid of our shabby old chairs.
The younger cat likes to piss off the older cat by taking her chair. The older one just sits and yowls 'til we make the little shit move back to her own chair.

It's funny because if you're used to dogs, you're used to getting cuddles a lot. I feel like Alfred actually did like him, he rubbed up on Eugene a few times and let him pet him, but cats are just generally pretty in their own business and don't always wanna have a big cuddle. I think for a first meeting, Alfred liked him a lot!
And he ate the shrimp from his hand! I've had cats all my life, and fostered stray/rescues, and there have been some I've worked with for months-years before they'd take food from me like that. It's a good sign of trust/feeling secure.

He’s just a vibing lil kitty boy, his tail is up and curled at the top most of the time which means he’s happy and having fun. Also when cats run away with their tails up it means they want to be chased (calmly) because that’s how cats play sometimes is they play chase.

We've left our 3 cats alone for up to three days. We just put out a huge bowl of food and fill the water bowl to the brim. Then I tell them, "if you gorge yourselves on day one, you'll be hungry by day three".
@@thevirtualtraveler LOL and do they listen? I'm not a 100 per cent sure, but I think cats are binge eaters by biological design. At least lions are for sure, so maybe house cats are, too. Lions can eat a zebra in one sitting, then sleep for days and then starve a little - depending on how frequently they catch prey. But I guess with our little house cats, it's individual preference as well. My cat used to finish his favourite food in one sitting and if he didn't get his gourmet platter, he left half of it, hoping I'd replace it. I miss my little diva...💔

I'm allergic too. But if you keep up with keeping things clean you won't have to worry unless you have a severe allergy. I got a couple air filters, wipe down with wipes and brush my cat a couple days a week, vacuum, and clean the litter box often.

How to be a cat owner, in notes style:
1. Feed it atleast 2 times a day, I like to leave out food for them in a dispenser as my cats somehow learned to not overeat (They did not learn this from me, I eat everything in excess)
2. Pet everything from right above the booty and tail to the floof noggin
3. Show your cat the random things you are doing
4. Cuddle time again, pet all over
5. Meow and ask gentle questions as if it understands everything
6. Always say Good Morning and Good Nighty
7. Spam its name until it recognises to come to you
8. Use this opportunity to pet it all over some more
9. Roll up a huge tinfoil ball as tightly as possible, or optionally put a nicely sized box in the middle of the living room. This is the primary definition of fun for cat
10. While it is in the box, usually its a great time to give it a pet everywhere
Let's all appreciate that this is a nice drama-free video we can still go back and enjoy these days.

Dogs can be trained in any language so its possible for the same with cats. My dog responds to 2 different languages, english and laotian, bc i trained him so he could respond to me and my parents (who watch him for me sometimes).
