Hi! You can make a puppet out of anything! The watcher puppets are all cardboard based and I used hot glue with my very first puppet. You definitely do not need barge! Follow your inspo deep into that craft cabinet and use what you got 🧶✂️📦 (and I’d love to see what you make if you wanna send it to me on IG afterward!)
There's this channel called Puppet Nerd that makes puppet making tutorials. From just a quick search he has made so many puppets in different of ways. So maybe you can browse his channel to see if you can find what you need! Just my add on, his video on Thomas Sanders's puppets is amazing!
If you're going to use foam though, I'd caution against sewing it together, just because the thread will rip the foam apart. Good luck with your puppet, if you get the chance to make one. Creating stuff is so much fun and everyone should try and do it more.
This is literally something right up their alley and I hope in the future they can properly learn to make puppets in a series coz that wouldve been so fun to see what characters they bring to life properly

Keith looks so good when he's in his element! As fun as 4th place rage Keith is, it really is a treat to see him shine!
@@llc358 for real, it’s funny to see him loose and have his tantrums but there’s something so wholesome about him being so serious and being appreciated for once instead of being mocked for comedic purposes
When you can't look at Ned the same way again.
@29:47 Ned actually asks Jay the 🐦 "What are some things that you know about office culture?" 🤦🏾♂️🙄
So that was a headsup huh 🤷♀️
Ong bro
Fr tho
I started crying when Jay brushed off his eyes at the end and started screaming. Absolutely hilarious!
I love how Keith is genuinely taking the constructive criticism of his puppet (30:52) and is focused on improving. He said that he is the most experience with puppets and his concentration on the judges words proves that puppetry is something he’d like to make a bigger thing or just a more refined form of expression for him.
But also when Jay loses his eyes 😂. I was rolling. This episode was really funny and entertaining. Keep up the great work try guys!
When Zach said "It's obviously a big juicy ass, Rachel." In the most serious voice, that was so strangely funny and unexpected it made my eyes water
Really enjoyed both guest judges on this one. Everyones personalities seemed to click really well.
The fact Keith took an independent study on puppets explains so much.
I saw this title, my immediately and only thought: this is going to be a horrifying disaster and I can't wait.
Ed: I now want to see Ned read stories with a puppet. I think Ned's voice would go really well with puppets.
Yes we need a video where the puppets read bed time stories
Yes, Ned has a voice that carries. Great for a puppet.
Eugene in every "without a recipe/instructions" its like that guy at work who's under contact but is actively trying to get fired
29:47 "not cheating on your wife with a person who works for you is definitely up there"
Foreshadowing
I really loved this expert. She seems really nice and like she was actually explaining what to do and not being passive aggressive lol
Without instructions/a recipe is my favorite series. Please never stop doing them
Bruhhh I hope Victor realizes how loved he & his work truly are! Like the Try Guys are fangirling over his work, but so am I!! Bear & the Big Blue House was a core part of my childhood, and he’s brought so many beloved and favorite characters to life from our childhood & beyond! GIVE A HAND TO HIM AND PUPPETEERS Y’ALL 🙌🏼🥹👏🏼
Of course Ned stole Zach’s thing. Mr. Trust fund baby never had an original idea.
He steals everything, Zach’s idea, “mommy’s” favorite, someone fiance.
Fr!!! Honestly lowkey really mad for Zach, don’t know why I didn’t pick up on this when I first watched it 😒🙄
It's so sad to think about the good times
-Taylor Swift (Bad Blood)
It's so sad to take others ideas without giving credit where credit is due.
- Everyone including me.
I love how the whole time they said "in last place..." The camera was just on Zach
The puppet history crossover we never knew we needed
Madison's run down on how to make a puppet has me rummaging through the craft cabinet. Can you perhaps hand sew instead of using ...barge? I know it'd change the structure, but I'm looking to use what I got (I have fabric hot glue as well, but I'm not a hot-glue expert).
Hi! You can make a puppet out of anything! The watcher puppets are all cardboard based and I used hot glue with my very first puppet. You definitely do not need barge! Follow your inspo deep into that craft cabinet and use what you got 🧶✂️📦
(and I’d love to see what you make if you wanna send it to me on IG afterward!)
This is literally something right up their alley and I hope in the future they can properly learn to make puppets in a series coz that wouldve been so fun to see what characters they bring to life properly
the way keith’s eyes light up at 31:02 when he asks if it’s a puppet is so wholesome, you can really see he actually has a passion for puppets
When Victor said he worked on “Bear In the Big Blue House” I wanted to cry! Didn’t even realize this man was a part of my childhood and it warmed my heart 🥺❤️
honestly wish Keith’s bird merch kept true to his original masks. I thought that made it super unique!
Detailed things are harder (more expensive) to mass produce.
Yea but the merch is more inclusive of the other guys so it makes more sense.
Victor has so much personality and he brought every attempt to life. I feel there's a show there somehow. He's so funny!
I would 100% watch some kind of, idk, mostly puppet-based sketch show
It’s currently 1am where I’m from and I’m in the hospital with my 2 year old who is really sick with pneumonia. I needed this today, Thankyou try guys and tryteam!
Best wishes for the kiddo ♥️
Hoping a speedy recovery to your 2 year old ❤️
Don't you worry maam! I know it seams scary, but it is kinda normal.... Your kid will be up and running in no time! Kid's only stumble to get up stronger!
sending healthy vibes for your little one im hoping the universe sends him healing
We're sending healing thoughts your way
Keith’s obsession with being a bird pretending to be a man is becoming suspicious.
Ned stealing Zach’s previous themes is unsurprising now. Zach’s puppet talking out its ass, the metaphor is clear now
idk what's wrong with Keith. I think he just really likes the character of Jay the totally normal business human, and good on him bc it's a great character.
@MoonLight-np4wx The joke is that that they are implying that Keith might actually be a giant bird disguised as a human.
Big fan of puppetry here, and when I see puppet work in different shows and things, I usually recognize at least one name, as the community is quite small. Clicked on this video to see who they had as judges, and certainly recognized Victor! Can't wait to watch the rest of the video and see how the Guys do. Puppet building is an incredibly difficult and niche skill, so I applaud them for even considering undertaking it!
Eugene put so much effort into every part of the puppet, including the personality and acting and I just-
I love that Keith is like dead seriously taking in the puppeteer's advice, no hamming it up this time 😁
Quote of the Day: “Reach your hand inside of me and make me talk.”
(Zach and his opening lines, I tell you)
I really loved Keith's Bird Puppet, the back story and every thing. Phenomenal.
The way Victor was super into everything was amazing. Amazing judge, wish they could do more with him!
My whole brain process was “ i swear if keith doesn’t win this imma flip out “ hahahahahahhahs
SAAAMMMEEE, so glad he won
Zach is looking really good lately. The hair transplant seems to be a success and the groomed beard also helps.
32:48 they way Keith and Ned had their puppets hold each other’s hands is adorable
27:10 I love Keith jokingly saying it’s a really common last name because I have an aunt named Keith Habersberger.
Keith! We need a “I’m a human bird Jay” children’s book! I think that would be such a great book!
Shane Madej should have been a judge. Man makes incredible puppets… I wrote this before the one person said she worked for watcher
for reaaaaaaal!
Deadass
I feel like Keith is the one that encouraged to make this video concept. The puppet master
I hope they do a without instructions mini golf course!
Without instruction, candid competition, anything high vs drunk, and food videos (Keith or Food Babies) I 👏🏻 am 👏🏻 here 👏🏻 for 👏🏻 it 👏🏻 it’s funny, it’s chaotic, but it’s also like hanging out with your friends
I’m a minute into the video and I’m already obsessed with Madison. Thank you for all your hard work on Puppet History!! Your puppets are ICONIC
Victor was a great guest judge it's so cool how he performed each of the puppets so well and with little idiosyncracies
