Tye is an absolute welding animal!
Tye Grade !!!
Those welds looked CLEAN!
Dime machine!😮
Literally my exact thoughts when those popped up
Welding wizzard is more like it. Fabed up that 4-link like it was it easy. And we all know it ain't. He is one talented dude.
Love how Sam is holding Ripper and pointing at Cleet getting out of Mullet. What a legend
Ripper is going to be a god in school lol, luckiest boy in the world. Hopefully some of that rubs off on him, one the greatest men on the planet right there.
@@charleshoward8971 Alex drove Badmaro to high school so I would think Rip will do something like that also! :)
Grandpa sam and lil ripper should be a t shirt. ❤️
missed that, went back and found it, thanks for pointing that out. so precious!
Papa Sam the goat
Nothing made me smile more than seeing Sam and little Rip watching dad pull up in mullet and Sam pointing and telling Rip there is his daddy!
And Maddie with Rip in the background after the last run, with Maddies huge smile when Cleet reacts to the numbers.
"The family the races together, stay together" has been said around dirt track and drags for a looooong time, for good reason, Both are Family Sports.
Tye’s knowledge beyond just the fabrication, but the APPLICATION and theory of it is very impressive. Worth his weight in gold
He's an absolutely outstanding fabricator, that's for sure! I could start practising now and still not get to his level of fab skills in ten years, I don't think. I'm not so sure about his chassis engineering knowledge though - I'm seeing a lot of dead nodes and strange load pathing.
23:42 Sam and little Rip in the background were absolutely adorable!
I thought I was the only one who seen that lol
Exactly
I look forward to watching that kid grow. He is going to have the coolest childhood of anybody in his generation.
Uncle Sam!
Lol was watching that too!
Protect Tye at all costs!! That guy is a hell of a fabricator for the team. Everyone on the crew is amazing as well! They all have their own special talents to add!
Protect him from what?
Local 281 pays 60 bucks an hour ! Plus 2 pensions
@@JameyCampbell_54 Really bubba, you presented that in response to a time honored phrase?
@Ray-7479 I guess the guy just don't get the saying or never had a great employee working for him.
@@chrischilders7498if he has certs.
Love seeing Sam holding Rip. This team is a family!
That kid and Jackstand's kids are going to have the best childhood ever.
@@brians48nowno doubt a bunch of uncles who knows cars and a bunch of cars and toys to grow into and have the best fun
Shout out to Sam! He is such a good man. In the background of all the shots, polishing cars, holding rip saying there is your dad making another video! What a role model!
Sam for President!! 🥃👊🏻
Awesome guy
It is a joy to watch Tye work! His welding is absolutely out of this world! Man, Mullet is undergoing a huge upgrade. Congratulations!
That welding that Tye is doing is crazy beautiful. You see things get built but you really do not appreciate the process until you see Tye weld . Amazing!!
Pete on the tuning is insane. Great and knowledgeable tuner that delivers time and time again.
That’s why he’s real good at doing stuff, (the name of his channel)
I’m 58 and Tye is the best welder/fabricator i have ever seen in my entire life.. he is priceless don’t ever lose him Cleetus 👍
Mullet is the original El Camino?...I thought my Dad's old Camino was either scrapped or just setting around somewhere. I didn't realize Mullet was actually the same old chassis, with new sheetmetal. When it got chopped up for a jetcar, then sidelined for a season, I thought Garrett had gone with another El Camino never thinking it was just reworked.
Thanks Tye for saving it. This car was driven all over Florida and Ga for my parents flooring business, my stepmom was the only person besides Pop that ever drove it in the 20+ years my Dad owned it . Other than missing the sawblade AR wheels, when Garrett bought it, it still looked very similar to when they owned it. Cool beans seeing it still ripping 😎
Imagine seeing your childhood car , family relic now being one of the fastest cars on the planet?
seeing Rip and Sam smiling as mullet pull back in (23:22) that right there can put a tear in any bald eagles eye!
Tye is a legend and so modest. I am sure he loves working for Cletus and is well paid but sure as the sky is blue he could name his price on the open market.
Oh you better believe that Cletus is paying that man what he's worth
Cleet is paying him ok but if Tye opens his own chassis shop, then he will be making good billetes.
Nobody can pays a talented , smart, dedicated and honest guy like him enough
Quote..."Money isn't everything but happiness is"! Their a family and best friends that love what they do. Yes, Tye is a great fabricator and welder!
He’s a welder SIMP
He’s a welder SIMP he can’t just name his price SIMP
Always a mood changer when Cleeter posts
I can confirm your statement to be completely accurate.
I feel the same.
Best part of my day!
1000% best way to wake up on a Sunday morning to cleetus
Absolutely brightens my day every single time
Hell yeah brother!
Maddie is doing such an amazing job of having little Rip be a part of this stuff. He's going to have some amazing memories of this time, just being with dad, doing cool stuff!
And Cleetus will appreciate it later in life when he looks back and has those memories
She doesn't even have to work she's living the dream of course she's gonna be a good mum
Yea they should start Rip a channel one day .... Real Cool at Doing Stuff .
When they are together they are always smiling it just seems like everyone on this channel is like family and to some people that’s still important. God bless you guys!🙏
That little fella is so lucky to have a bunch of people that will do everything to help a guide and protect him, if he stays humble and pays proper attention, he will grow to be the guy with all the answers and still be super chill about it.
Nice job by Tye. Dude clearly knows his stuff and is such an asset to the team. To nail the setup of a totally new rear suspension right out of the gate like that is quite a feat.
I love when Tye gets the spotlight. All eyes on him. he's a freakin wizard
23:42 Sam in the background with RiP
MASSIVE shout out to Tye!
Ty is a freaking fabbing/welding monster 🔥🔥🔥
Seeing Tye proud of his work he just created with a clean run down the track...priceless
As a plumber, that hit me as well. That's the feeling we all strive for!
@thefightingplumber thank you for putting up with our shit.
@@sergioh2015 That credit goes to the sewage guys, i'm more of a heatpump guy now but thanks :)
What a great team of guy's. Tye is an animal and being able to do that work and have dialed pretty much out of the box is amazing. Seeing Sam hold Rip brings a tear. Such an amazing family.
ZACH! Just want to say, WE SEE YOU! Everything, Everywhere, All at Once. Dude works his ass off, always running, always moving, never stationary, never idle, the "Zach of all trades" guy on the team making it happen and filling in EVERY crevice in an already "Super-Bust-Ass" Team. Hes got the energy and determination of a small army and you can just tell he loves, Loves, LOVES his job! My hats of to you, man! (Cleetus, never let him go)
That man turns to a MACHINE under pressure too!
I love that the whole team talks highly of that race track. I mean.. it's always looking well kept and prepped very nicely!
What an amazing channel. The team fits so well! Hope yall do amazing !
One of the best tracks in the nation at Bradenton. 👍
Team Cleetus is knocking it out the ball park. This is so cool to see big projects like Ruby back on line and a whole new 4-link for Mullet go smooth. RIP GO-PRO 💀
We need to see the GoPro case!
Tye is awesome to watch. Not only the welding, but his knowledge of the cars is amazing!
28:14 My favorite guy on team Mcfarland has the biggest smile. Sam we love you keep up the great work. Not taking anything away from Ripp.
Huge shoutout to Tye for getting Mullet done in time and for doing such a good job! Tye, your hard work never goes unnoticed!
Tye has to be the best addition for this crew, the fact it went straight after all the changes is awesome.
Man his geometry and math is on point
As a welder I wish I had the setup that shop has
Tie definitely is the best guy in your shop, for him to hit that that fast says something
Ol' Cleeter is smart guy. Think how much his racing improved when he add James. And now with George, Zac and Tye. Surround you self with talented people and the results will come. Everytime he adds someone to the crew he is getting a new skillset for his projects.
PEEEETE!!! (ok, he is not the crew and has his own operation and does things very well, but he definitely helped get some trophies!)
Tye can't get enough credit. The work he does is seriously legit
You gatta love Sam helpin Maddie in the back ground with little Rip, such a good dude.
You guys have come to be full blown drag race professionals…and not average ones either ! An incredible team and the best part …guys your combined attitude is the most impressive part of all !
leroy won world cup!!
The best part of this channel is when you see the family connection in the background of the video ❤. Seeing Sam and the little guy watching Dad and mullet rolling in was priceless!!!!
Tye is an evil genius when it comes to welding. It's like he playing with play dough. Makes it look easy!! GREAT JOB GUYS!!
Killer job in the fab work as always Tye 💯 can’t wait to see Mullet turned on up!
Tye is worth his weight in gold!
The CLEETER Crew is such a motivated group.. look at Tye-Dye absolutely loving what he does for a living.. *and America*
Who is tye-dye?
The precision and quality of Tye's work is a sight to behold. Truly a master of his craft.
Look at Sam just being a champ with Ripper Jr. in the background 23:40.
There's just something awesome about that man that nobody else can match.
I imagine that's how Cleet is gonna be as a grandpa!
I came here to make this same comment. It's pretty awesome to have someone like Sam be part of Rip's upbringing.
23:42 what a wholesome moment between Sam and Ripper seeing his dad drive up and pointing at the car.
Glad someone else caught that LOL. Great!
Sam and Rip together is just too sweet. Need a children's book about them. That'd be a nice tribute to Sam. Well done team FF
That man in pure bliss with Rip.
I'm sitting here in the ICU with my wife. She had a procedure on her heart that was done incorrectly causing a hole in her esophagus and heart. Dumping toxic infected blood into her blood stream causing her to have 2 massive strokes which lead to her now being paralyzed on her right side. She was life flighted to Charleston MUSC to have Emergency Open Heart Surgery and Esophagus surgery to repair the holes.
10.5 hours of life saving surgery later and she is in recovery.
She is alive and improving everyday.
But we have months of rehab ahead of us.
Cleet, your uploads help me remember when I lived in Japan and I used to drift and drag race. Those days were amazing.
I'm in my mid 40's now and I came extremely close to losing the woman I love. Hug Madi and never let go.
She got your back, just make sure you got hers.
Thank you for helping me thru this difficult time.
Respectfully,

Best wishes to you and your wife from random guy on internet

Dude 23:37 Sam just back there bein an absolute IDOL! That man is the Papaw everyone needs!
Can I say seeing little Rip with Mr. Sam at 23:37 hits me in the feels. Yeah, it reminds me of moments shared with people that I miss.
From watching you build OG Leroy in that single bay garage to a time lapse of Tye fully fabricating a rear end for you as an employee and friend. Congrats man. Inspiring
What an all star crew Cleetus has put together…..Tye, outstanding work brother and to have Pete on the computer wow doesn’t get any better than that. Oh I forgot to mention the great job little Ripper did on the tool organization
Thank you for including Tyes work. Hes a true artist!
just gonna put it out there, I wish they would make a dedicated channel for Tye and his projects.
+1 would watch that all day
💯
Just gonna put it out there, your a simp.....
No doubt. I went down a rabbit hole last night, watching vids about welding table set ups. Then I watch Tye weld that all up on a table with almost none of that. 😂
Yup I’d love that.
Great work by Tye. Also appreciating James. Must be a good feeling having a guy like him on your team.
Well, Tye, the writing is on the wall... start designing yourself a chassis jig & get the materials ordered. You'll need it for the full tube chassis you'll be building before the end of '25.
In the '80's I was building street rods w/ IFS & IRS's from factory cars.
There was some variation in track & length, depending on the body, (Ford A, '33-'34 Ford, Chevy, Dodge or?. The suspension units varied as well, but I needed a faster way to mock up &/or check thee chassis after mileage.
I built a main box, as rigid in all 3 planes as possible, (on a rotisserie, weight wasn't an issue, to me.)
I them built a IFS or IRS segment each time I used a new OEM unit. Basically, I built a modular chassis jig.
It was heavy, but the ability to roll er over was a function of drive motor; I'd a put an effin' V8 on it, if it was needed, 'cause made my fabing life essier, reduced new hot rod construction time, made a safer chassis AND being able to put it back on the jig after 10-15k miles meant I could weed out the curb encounters, ditchings & opposum attacks. One of those made the work & $ well worth it.
For different reasons, the same fab improvement & time reduction will be a plus.
A +100 runs chassis alignment check might help if Cleet, James & you are chasing a gremlin.
You guys have way more lifting options than I had, (1 center post lift & a 360⁰ jib crane w/ a no eng, trans or body limit. You could pick a car up, driven right into the shop & lower it down to a chassis jig. I never had it that easy & it was well worth it.
The flexibility from the module design was what I needed; you need it, too, but a full, unique jig for multiple cars is not feasible or realistic.

Tye, you are an absolute animal. Those welds aren't dimes, those are pure silver coins.
You gotta admire Jackstand's analysis knowing exactly what cleets feedback is going to be @ 25:57
Tye kills it every time real MVP of the shop!
Tye´s work blows me away. Always fun seeing him.
Tye's welding is just artwork. Mastery.
Tye is one of the best additions' ever to the crew! Guy just helps every car get to the next level!
Also that under car cam was epic!
I truly appreciate that you guys now go to the effort of always putting in a Tyelapse when he's welding/working on the car.
I know it's a lot of extra effort, adjusting and moving cameras etc but I'm very thankful. I could watch them all day.
I LOVE how Tye laying down those Dimes!
Awesome job Tye! Also, not only is Pete real good at doin stuff but I think he might be a bit of a good luck charm.
Well done guys!! Beautiful weldings Tye! You are an absolute welding animal and it seems like you are really getting to know how suspensions works! 🙂👃👍
You know,....I'm a 35 yr welder/ fabricator,... primarily sheet metal. I contracted for the US military,...Honda business jet prototype,... Fountain Speedboats,...can't remember them all. I was good at my craft. Ty takes it to another level. WOW. I'm impressed. He's designing the parts. I'm not worthy. I'm retired. A pacemaker ended my welding career. I grew up in Tampa. Carolina boy since '73. One of these days I'd love to visit you at the shop and Freedom Factory. Oh,..BTW,..have you ever seen a C 130 do a rocket assist take off?? MacDill AFB had a lot of cool planes flying in the '60s. I saw an F104 do a napalm run. It was a public " air armistice day" show. Every year!!! Saw the 1st C5 come in. The 1st 747 at the "new" Tampa international. We got a tour!! My Dad and me and my brother!! Times have changed. The 747 had just landed and disembarked paengers. My Dad asked a "stewardess" if we could come on board. The captain said "cool"!! Cockpit,...lounge,...the whole plane. Amazing days!!!!
Holy hell. As a broadcast engineer, I dont know how many people understand just how insane of an undertaking it is to do all the live stream stuff they're talking about for all of sick week. Wish you guys all the luck. But I dont envy the crew one bit for taking that on lol.
Getting your weight percentages where you want them to be on the scales before you leave the shop is a huge advantage to nailing your preliminary setup. Obviously having the right people on the job is the best advantage. Love it
I've seen some clean welds in my day. But daym! Tye doesn't drop dimes, he drops dollars! And probably the most important. He's getting maximum penetration and depth everytime. The strength of that bead he did on that early link took 3 passes. The metal will crack before his welds. Awesome
Tye! I absolutely LOVE your work & vids where you do your stuff! Proper stuff! Cleet... Hold tightly onto Tye, he's a beast fabricator, so humble & very insightful on the game you guys play. Keep up the AWESOME work Tye 🙏🏻👍🏻😉
We need a video of Tye laying fine welds 30 mins of it! I could watch his welding all day! He's an Excellent fabricator!
That second to last run the car sat up so good and launched straight, Mullet definitely can do more, great work and especially GREAT Camera Work from all angles !
Ty doesn't just work that metal, he makes sweet love to it. I'm in complete awe of his abilities.
I am so hyped for this week! Honestly my favourite moments of the year. You have such an amazing group of guys around you, such good vibes on these trips, cannot wait!

Great job Tye and Mullet is flying.
It's "like" you know what you're doing? You folks - do know what you're doing, and I love the care and concern you have over the details, including safety.
Loved this. We seen the teardown then nothing until completion AND taken down the track. Great video. Tye is the GOAT, cant even put the feeling into words when mullet went A to B first rip flawlesly, the look on his face. Confirmation job well done my man!
