He also builds engines, Doug's buddy Red runs a HED engine, infact Pete builds quite few engines for grudge, no time racers. He's a legend.

All your cars have such great stories. Ruby started out as the "Auction Corvette" with an old truck motor in it. Leroy has gone through so much to become a pure racing car, and Mullet started out as the car you were going to install a jet engine in, but then decided to turn into a 6-second drag car. We've watched all of you, and all of these cars, go through these journeys. It's been one hell of a ride.
Maybe that is what makes him and his team special. Imagine the stories he tells his grand children.

Mullet isn't the original el co they sold that extented one off and started again with ksr
@@digby8787 no they didn’t. After it was extended at profab, cleet abandoned the jet car idea, and they bought a 2nd shell to use the bed off of. The majority of the work Kevin did was modifying what pro-fab had already done to the chassis and cage.

I agree brother. Each time they lined up, they were undefeated just like Mullet was at that time. Anybody who can put together a fairly consistant 6 second car gets my respect. That takes a great deal of knowledge to do. Those cars were beautiful, and looked very nice and professional.

I noticed the same thing. You can tell that guy was doing some complex calculations in his head the entire time until they had the trophy. Once the trophy was in hand then you see him relax with that huge smile because he knew that they earned those wins. A great team with an amazing car. Everybody involved should be proud of those back to back personal bests for the ultimate victory.

Agreed. Garrett is a professional and I'm in awe seeing his driving at world cup finals. He easily could have lost it with the trans fluid (man it was sketchy - if you've not driven at 200 mph you don't understand how sketchy it truly is) issue or the tiny Toyotas he had to not just tree but drive around.

Pretty unbeleivable. I know Leroy was this channels first baby but I want to see more from this racing team with mullet moving forward. There is progress that can be made especially with a tuner that can make progress each run like this weekend. Sky is the limit.
Begs the question whether or not a multimillion dollar race team should be allowed to run in grassroots racing. McFarland Racing has virtually unlimited funds compared to the other teams + sponsors. Was nice to see James running his privately owned and funded car.

Started watching from Leroys 7 second pass and this video was the best I have seen on TH-cam as a whole this past year! Such a great emotional buildup along with the ruby and jackstand races. Simply amazing!

Sam had a new shop built to focus on his own projects after retiring from the car detailing products business, but somehow it seems like he has focused his time on being part of the Cleetus crew. That might just be more fun that what he had planned and I hope he is enjoying all the action. He certainly has put a lot of work into making the fleet look great. I wish my body was as good as his and I'm only half his age and wouldn't be able to do all that work unless I needed it to pay the bills as I do for the physical work I do.

Man what a ride! I already knew the results but my blood was pumping watching the whole thing. It's amazing how many times Cleet said WE WON. He never once said I won the world cup. Really shows his character. I know he spent a small fortune on that motor and trans but boy is it paying off now. Also give props to the man that built Mullet, KSR. Seeing Zach and the whole team after that win really made all of us smile along with them. Congrats, well deserved! Thanks for having us along for the ride!

@@bobbycuesroadhouse2204 Everything Pro Fab did had to be undone by Kevin. They were building it to be a jet-car. None of that would have worked for the kind of racing and driving they've been using Mullet for so Kevin had to change damn near everything. Didn't you watch any of the videos Kevin made while doing the build? Wiring and plumbing. You're either a terrible troll or waaaaay behind on the build videos.

To think how far Mullet has come, from originally thought to become a jet car to Kevin building a bad a$$ 7 second car to that Steve Morris big block pushing it to a mid 6s car. Fantastic and congratulations to Garrett and team McFarland. Can't wait to see what next season brings.

@@bmorg7244 Remember when they dubbed in the "Wheelman" to cover the original title of the failed show that was going to feature guest drivers in the same Crown Vic at the Freedom Factory. Garrett has certainly proven he's a legitimate wheelman. Cars and jetboats included.

Also, this should definitely be a testament to the caliber of race car that Kevin of KSR is able to build, and also a testament to the caliber of engine that Steve Morris is able to build. Such an amazing team effort by all of the guys combined with the raw talent and passion for racing that Cleeter has. Best video ever!

Yep, car setup is absolutely perfect. All those guys did just as awesome. But I agree, let's not forget ksr did the base setup of the actual car.
I'm so damn proud of all these guys this is a damn team right here. No jealousy just all in it for each other to be happy. Damn world take notice it's really this easy to be happy with your fellow neighbors.
This engine is a testament to Steve Morris's engine building abilities, 3 D&D's (won two of them) FL2K and world cup all on one build. If anyone thought a Steve Morris engine was just a gimmick, this answers it. Also massive Kudos to KSR for building Mullet and both Dr TuneEm all Mr Harrell. Looking forward to Sick Week, now that Mullet is officially unleashed

@@A7Xfan2007 it was three D&D's, Midwest Drags (Won) 1.0, (2nd overall) and 2,0 (won) he actually has close to 4k road miles on 3 D&D's as well as FL2K and World finals. He Ran a 6.47 at 222, with about 4,000 miles on alumnium rods, let that sink in. Let's not forget the learning curve to get the engine running right, that is always rough on the engine as you learn what it wants and needs

@@A7Xfan2007, You're right I apologize, I forgot about the Bristol conflict. But i was sure he did three D&D's, he did Sick week i do know that, so he did do three i was wrong about which ones. So it was SW, MWD and RMRW 1.0. it is possible that SW was done on the old LS though
@@crazylarryjr I just went and looked at the sick week vlogs.he was still using the LS then. It’s crazy but I’m pretty sure he’s won every race since he got the Steve Morris engine.
