He made it look like rhe rest of the foxbodys. Turbos out the hood is the way to go

@@haydenroyer I think Cleeter knows these small turbos are gonna have a limited life span and he let Tye do his thing on the fab of them because he knows before too long, bigger turbos are going in and they will not fit UNDER the hood and we will get to see them above the hood

Add a pressure sensor to the CO2 line, so you can add an alarm to the ECU if the bottle pressure is low.
Swap all CO2-feeds to N2O-feeds... Less to go wrong... I saw it in a video once...

@fast97z24 they probably put the normal amount of oil at first which with G force can slosh up the back of the pan creating oil starvation. A common solution is to overfill by a few quarts. But anyway, where's your perfect racecar?

idc about ford vs chevy, but I love seeing them running v8's w/ modern age DOHC heads that can do so much more in terms of tuning & performance (btw I mean modern age as in stuff that imports had since 1912)

I’m not a ford guy but jackstand is right it sounds sick! Also the different engine content on the channel has gotten insane and I love it! So many different platforms and builders it’s insane! YEE YEE
I'm used to abusing "fast" cars in my area with my Kawi 900, but I ran into a Coyote last year who ate my lunch. When I pulled up on him at the next light I noticed "Whipple" on his license plate frame. As much as it hurts this life-long Mopar man, that thing sounded AWESOME.
@@ronjones-6977 you know it more than many being a sport bike guy, but DOHC heads are where tf its as for making serious jam throughout the full rev range (and more important than displacement when it comes to tuning for power within the upper rev range)

Cleetus letting James have first rip with the new setup shows how much he appreciates and cares for his crew. Most guys would want to have the first rip. Cleet is such a great guy. Glad the channel's success hasn't inflated his ego which happens to a lot of TH-camrs as their channel grows.
Since James is driving it at World Cup and there's no time left for another test session it's more a matter of common sense than ego involved.
Cleetus will be driving Mullet at World Cup so James will be driving McFlurry.
McFlurry is going beastmode.

Dang Cleetus!!! Mid 60's back in Olden Days, old Harry always loaned motor to Late Model Buddy, but buddy went NASCAR Racin'! Old mechanic heartbroken, I was 16 and buddy too. Harry always built big blocks, but I heard of guys takin a Chevy 400, & makin' it a 383/400 Stroker. Harry looked into it, next day I brought him his Dairy Mart burgers & fries, & Harry reborn man!! Customer work was gonna wait as Harry busy w/motor to loan out. He figured had to use 400 flywheel as balanced the motor, but said had order for entire Late Model, but mum on who the hell would get it! I slid outta school as being totally overrated, so instead helped w/Late Model build for 3 wks, got 'er done just in time, & we jumped in Harry's '35 Chevy Wrecker, hitched on the carhauler, & we were off....sort of! Old wrecker overladed only makin' 45MPH, so missed practice. Harry got Gene a great Driver, to get another buddy putting required 3 signatures on app, Harry forged Dad's signature as new Driver a minor, pulled brand new driver's suit locked up in hauler with my name on it, & I is a Race Car Driver!! Harry late, but Owner of half-mile Spartan Speedway said , "No practice, but had one shot to qualify, so I left pit exit on Turn 2 just a hammerin' on it, high siden' - rim riden' for the 2 laps setting New Track Record! Bass Turds said No Good - No Race, as rules specified within so much of Track Record. Crowd boo'd, & kept booin' so Track Owner said it would be put to vote, everyone in Pits yelled Boo, while Crowd all screamed Yea!! I won the Fast Car Dash, Heat Race, & Feature! Track Owner S-tatic as gonna earn a whole lotta money! After watchin' The Boys tunin' on McFlurry in your video here, made old memories come runnin' like a bat-out-of-heck back to when crews were buds ya could get, & racin' done on shoestring!! Times a changin' now!

If it blows up, we can now blame Cleetus's customary lack of engine oil !!
@@arkhsm They had the normal amount of oil you’re supposed to have in a coyote, but under that acceleration it all sloshed back, so now they are 2.5 quarts overfill.
It was short. It'll be fine. If they did 2 or 3 passes like that maybe.
Luckily coyote sump capacity is quite a lot of oil, which is what saved the pressure from diving under 30. The fact it came right back up after the pull to where it was before showed nothing was damaged IMO
@ice44567 that's not really how it works. We had a 2JZ that did the same thing. Only 30psi and 8000rpm+ will damage bearings. Hopefully, they got away with it, but I won't be surprised if they have problems down the track

1st gen coyote with stock compression out of an f150 will give you great torque/powerband with great sound for a reasonable price. Raising the compression makes it sound like high pitched nonsense.
