I have an 8hp on my sk14 and works great. I did throw a grab bar which makes standing while under power a lot more comfortable. Great build, cheers!

It is really designed for flat water shallow estuaries and sheltered waters. There is not a lot of freeboard. Great for stand up fishing in flat water

Nice! How long and what's the beam? Going to rig a means to secure the paddle? How's it roll ( I'd bet you could with some straps to brace the knees)? Rigging a bicycle trailer for her?

14 foot long about 49 1/2" wide. For the moment the poor old paddle can rattle around. It seems to be pretty comfortable sitting on the deck.

I haven't actually weighed it, but I reckon it would be very close to design weight (127 lbs/50 kg). It has a bit of a 'heft' and lately I have been up-grading my trailer with rollers and a winch to facilitate launching. Definitely a trailer boat and not a roof topper.
