My SK14 Solo Skiff Build

A little slide show of my SK14 Solo Skiff build. Not a work of art, but a functional boat that works great for what I built it for. I can get in the shallow back lakes that my blue wave can not.

Cool boat must weigh a ton with all the foam

Not too bad, I have not put on scale but the 6 HP pushes it well, an 8 HP would be ideal.

What plywood did you use?

big box store hardwood in 5 mm in 4x8 sheets all incased in fiber glass when the build was completed so far so good

What total cost to build

Plans, Material, motor and trailer and all the paper work to get it legal came in at and around $2500.00 give or take.
