No. Am I saying its Carried by cameo's and Nostalgia? No. I'm saying he gets too much help, and it's not really Spidey, hopefully Spider-man 4 fixes that
Spider-man 2 is the best spider-man movie imo. It shows how a hero should be. even without powers he tries to save people from burning building. the entire movie is just him struggling to live a normal life. his version of normal is just attending classes in time, doing howework and talking with his crush. lol. after all the struggle the scene where people save him. man, that's one marvelous scene. I love Spider-verse movies but they never tackled the hero concept as much as spider-man 2. most of the super hero movies these days isn't about hero's imo. it's just people with extrodinary powers and zero motivation for being heros. look at ms marvel, she wants to be hero not to save people or it's her responsibility, she just likes having super powers. and she hulk is basically "If you have powers, it's not an obligation to be a hero. just live for yourself" Anyway the best superhero potrayals imo are spider-man trilogy, captain america trilogy and daredevil tv series.
Haha yeah no, if I just look at the cutscenes, I basically just look at it as a long movie. Cutscenes are about 2 hours and 50 minutes or so standalone, and I wanted this one to differ from everyone else's spider-man rankings!
if you're including games, you should've included animated series as well. for me spectacular spider-man is the best adaptation of spider-man. a teenager with personal problems and responsibilities. just the way stan lee describes him.
