Beautiful song, Elvis version is my favorite, he always brings tears to my eyes 😢 beautiful man with a beautiful voice. Thank you for your great reaction ❤
My youngest son was born in 1971. I saw Elvis twice in concert, so, yes, I was around. If you're impressed with the arrangement of that performance, it was all Elvis. He was in charge of how that song was performed from beginning to end. He was an arranger without having the actual creds.
The arrangement of this performance is absolutely sublime. And then, of course, is the man himself. Elvis Presley really knows how to evoke the right emotional tone in his songs.
First comment you made "Pretty boy for the ladies". Surprised he can actually sing? No equipment, no rap that nobody can understand a word of, just raw talent. You all seem to think he was just a ladies man.
I was around, I first loved him in 1956 when I was 12 years old. I flipped out and I am still obsessed with him at 80 years old. He impacted music and culture he was earth shattering for his moves and how he sang. He was a kind a generous man who gave away almost as much as he made. He was born into poverty in 1935, so poor, in a black neighborhood, he loved gospel, especially at the black church where he joined the choir. To this day his gospel has sold more than any single performer in the world. He sang every kind of music and had an almost 3 octave range. Thank you for this great reaction. Be Blessed. Mary
I was around too. In 1956 when I was 14. Went to two concerts, I am now 82 and loved him then and love him now. I loved how you played the piano with him, Kenmusic! Beautiful reaction!
What an AMAZING REACTION!!! Stick with Elvis and your reaction channel will EXPLODE!!!! This is my favorite Elvis Presley reaction for this song! Keep your style with listen then play! Wow!!! Subscribed in earnest. You are very talented.
Elvis' best unknown/unspoken talents were arranging and production. He knew what he wanted and looked for the best singers and musicians. If you watch the movie that this footage is from, That's The Way It Is, you can see how he's in charge and explains how he wants the big sound, but yet very subtle at the same time. The rehearsal parts are some of my favorites. It also shows how he interacted with his band and singers.
Great reaction to one of the best songs. Elvis did this song with all of his heart in it as always. I like that you played the song on your keyboard. I was hoping you would do that. You are very talented. Thanks
THANK YOU FOR DOING THIS❤️ Elvis inspires you to be a better human being❤️ You bring me and other Elvisfans a lot of Joy and Love❤️ Welcome to the Elvisfamily..It is filled with LOVE and FUN❤️😉 You will Love Elvis❤️ Subbed❤
Really nice reaction and I enjoy your music. Beautiful Elvis performance and beautiful rendition by you, too. I saw Elvis live in LasVegas at that very showroom. He was the best ever. I am subbing because of Elvis.More, please.❤❤❤
Elvis did the arrangements for a lot of his music. The song is eternal; I remember having to sing it in choir when I was in high school. The entire choir put together weren't as good as Elvis's rendition. Thanks for the reaction and for the piano playing; Elvis played piano too along with the guitar, the bass, drums, organ, the accordian. A truly multi-faceted talent.
In order for some one to do musical arrangements, you must know how to read music and be able to write music. Now since Elvis could do neither. It never happened. But the good news for you is, I have some hens teeth for sale. They are a little yellow, but they still fetch high prices.
@@bwana-ma-coo-bah425 What I meant is that Elvis decided what instrumentation he did/didn't want & their tempo & when/where he wanted the backup groups to come in; I wasn't suggesting that he literally wrote the arrangements. I know you love trolling Elvis fans but really, your sarcasm isn't really necessary. Have a good day.
@@mrchips4489 Perhaps in the future you should chose the words that say what you mean, as difficult as that might be. So now let me ask you this. Why is it that I see the same people making the same comments about Elvis, however you don't call them a troll and neither do I? Is it because you don't want people to know the truth about Elvis? Elvis decided nothing. Elvis was just a puppet, controlled by the colonel.
I would go with IF I CAN DREAM next. This one. th-cam.com/video/u-pP_dCenJA/w-d-xo.html Elvis' personal tribute to civil rights activists and legends Dr Martin Luther King Jr. and Robert Kennedy both assassinated earlier in the year. This amazing song was written for Elvis to sing during the Civil Rights Movement in the USA, 1968. Based on King's If I Can Dream Speech and Elvis' own feelings. Elvis was a strong proponent for bringing people together, which he successfully did through his music.
How beautiful!!!! Watching Elvis sing this song always brings tears...and Watching you accompanying him on your piano was very emotional to watch and listen to....I think he would have been touched that you honored him this way. Thank you very much for your amazing reaction and I hope you continue discovering Elvis music.
I'm not necessarily a believer in the afterlife, but I hope Elvis is somewhere, able to appreciate the love his old and new fans are finding for him and his music, even now.
Good piano playing man, Good job 🤙 You should try Elvis Suspicious minds 1970 live, That's the best version. Most reactors like yourself have reacted to this one it's quite popular. Thanks 😀
