I get in anywhere from 3-10, myself--depending on whether or not I find a reactor that I haven't heard from before. Just by itself, I often listen up to five times a day. 😀
Thank you for not breaking the song in pieces. Those that do, don't get the full effect because they are too focused on their critiques. Love Dan Vasc covers. He is amazing!
BEST rendition I've ever heard... and I'm an 80 yr old lady who has heard dozens... Amazing God given talent. Check out Angels We Have Heard on High and Gethsemane.
PK here (Preacher's Kid) and I agree 💯 💯 💯 I've heard and sung it thousands of times throughout my 54 years...NEVER have I EVER been so captivated by a song. I can't stop listening to it! The tears flow, and I feel the Holy Spirit move, God's love, and our Savior's sacrifice! What a God-given talent. I pray this reaches millions for the Kingdom. I feel like he sang it "for such a time as this." The world grows darker and more tumultuous by the day. People need hope... they need Jesus. This timeless song tells a powerful story about God's steadfast love, enduring mercy, and amazing grace!! I feel like all of Heaven stopped to listen! 👑✝️❤️🌎👨👩👧👧🐑☝🏼💪🏾⚓️🪨🏰⛰️🛡🗡📖🙏🏻🧎🏼♀️🙌🎶🧂🕯🩸🔥💧🕊🤟
Listen and react to his Sounds of Silence, Nessum Dorma, American Trilogy, which was his dad’s favorite Elvis and which he recorded within days of his dad’s passing …the emotion is so raw…
Dan’s late father taught him to play the harmonica when he was a little boy. His father had such a tremendous impact on Dan and his extraordinary ability to sing so many genres.
Thank you for the way you played the video and reacted. Very respectful. I hope by now that you have checked out the other videos he has produced. He is a phenomenal singer and can sing any genre of music.
Nice reaction, and welcome to Vasc-Nation and the Dan Vasc rabbit hole. I've been happily lost in it since 9/15/20, when I first heard him do The Sound of Silence, followed by Toss A Coin To Your Witcher and literally every other song on his channel, plus whatever else I could find on TH-cam. Dan can sing literally anything! Some current obsessions are Starfire, Dawn Over A New World, and Rebellion In Dreamland. Have fun exploring his channel and finding your own favorites. Look forward to more reactions!
Dan Vasc just hit 1 million subscribers on Mother's Day this year (May 12th). For many of us, his version of Amazing Grace was our introduction to this multitalented Brazilian vocalist, and we continued discovering everything he's done. It's my favorite version of Amazing Grace. One of his very first influences was Petra, and he said John Schlitt was the inspiration for him pursuing a career as a singer. A few years ago, Dan actually did a cover of Petra's song "Beyond Belief" with John Lawry and John Schlitt. It's quite good, and you could tell Dan was thrilled to be doing that song with them. It's just one of many awesome videos on Dan's channel. You should hear what he's done to Christmas songs like "Angels We Have Heard on High", "Adeste Fideles" (O Come All Ye Faithful in Latin), & "O Holy Night". Plus, his Handel's Messiah Hallelujah Chorus (One Man Choir) is an unbelievably crazy feat he pulled off with astonishing results. One song that often gets overlooked, is Dan's cover of the Roy Khan song "For All." It's quite lovely & his outro message is worth hearing. He's done folk, musicals, Opera (Nessun Dorma), 80s music covers, Disney covers, rock, and heavy metal. If you happen to like the song "Kiss From a Rose" by Seal, he did a regular cover of that and later did a metal cover as a duet with fellow Brazilian vocalist Violet Orlandi. It's better than the original, I think. Dan's Phantom of the Opera covers are amazing, especially his "Music of the Night." Some other honorable mentions are: "My Mother Told Me", "Scarborough Fair", "Loch Lomond", "The Bard's Song", & "Pour Some Sugar on Me" (funny Dan), but there are so many more. He also has his own band called Fearless, which includes his brother (Davi), and 2 childhood friends from church (Gabriel & Giovanni). They have one album called The Chronicles of Ancient Wisdom, which is an entire saga that's a blend of fantasy on the backdrop of certain Biblical stories. He's currently working on a celebratory album for reaching 1 million subscribers, which will be all Manowar covers. If you decide to continue looking into Dan's collection, I can tell you it's a constant surprise, and we'll be happy to join you.😊
My beloved Granny played the harmonica. I play piano and sing as do most of my family members. During holidays, reunions, or other get togethers, we'd play and si.g the old hymns of the faith. So this was nostalgic for me as well. Precious and cherished memories for sure!I loved your reaction, bts!
Dan's father gave him the harmonica when he was 7. His dad was also a musician. He passed away a few years ago and Dan does a beautiful tribute to him. Go to his channel and hunt it down while you get introduced to more magic from this wonderful Christian man!
Dan has an amazing voice and the emotions he expresses with his face and body are just as awesome. It is distressing when reactors appear to be listening with their eyes closed. All of his videos are excellent. Some of my favorites are “I’ll Make a Man out of You” from Disney’s Mulan,Angels We Have Heard on High sung in Italian, German, Portuguese and English, Adeste Fidelis (Oh, Come All Ye Faithful) sung in Latin, Toss a Coin to Your Witcher, Sound of Silence, Nessun Dorma (Opera), Love Me Tender …… He covers so many genres of music. Please do more reactions.
I love all the songs you just mentioned..Dan has an amazing voice, I know he bills himself as a metal singer, but he can sing anything..so glad I found his channel!
Dan also sings opera. He has a cover of one of the most difficult tenor opera songs. It’s called Nessun Dorma from Giacomo Puccini’s Torandot. He sings it in Italian in the genre of Opera. Dan Vasc has over 200 covers on his channel from opera, musicals, show tunes, pop, rock, hard rock, and metal. He speaks/sings in 4 languages, is classically trained, arranges/produces each song, plays many instruments, has a 3 or 4 octave range, and hails from Brazil. He is/was (not sure if they’re still together) the lead singer of the band called Fearless. His brother was the lead guitar and the rest are his childhood friends. FYI His father gave him a harmonica at age 7 and it was the first instrument he learned to play. Please play more Dan Vasc. You’ll never be disappointed ❤
Fearless is definitely still together. Davi (pronounced Dah-vee' ) has his own channel simply called...Davi Vasc. He has become a world-renowned video game music composer, and his videos are AMAZING!!! He talks about their band quite often, and the "Chronicles of Ancient Wisdom" album that is on Spotify, iTunes, etc. I LOVE that album, and have identified all of the "treasures" hidden in the storyline, now, as far as I know. Those treasures are scriptures. The album has 12 tracks, and the first one is the prologue. The other 11 all tell part of the story, though only five of them have actual scriptures wound into them. The other tracks go along with them, but are in more of a, I guess I'd say "storybook" setting. All of the songs (and the prologue) were written by Dan and Davi, and the music, also. Fantastic stuff!!!
Also, I appreciate that you listen thru it and other songs without pausing. I agree that it breaks up the impact of the song with incessant pausing. So, 😊good work.
Love your reaction but most of all to you listening and enjoying the song..no interruptions..that is how it's supposed to be done.. after you comment.. amazing voice ❤
I’ve been in love with Dan’s rendition from the first time hearing it. Now I troll the channels searching for joy in shared amazement, awe and gratitude. I found great joy in your expressions. 😊 so… I subscribed. Thank you! PS.. love your backdrop too. ❤
Great reaction, and I LOVE the wall behind you! The Lion of the Tribe of Judah, correct? Pretty fantastic! I have one suggestion for future reactions--especially any of Dan's, because of his intense voice that flows outward so freely. In this video, there was a hollow echo around everything he uttered, that made it hard to hear his words and his true tone. Those of us who have heard it before, know what it sounds like, normally, but it wasn't coming across that way, and you, yourself, even though you were obviously impressed, could not possibly have heard the full extent of how Dan actually sounds in that song. You need something in your area (not all the same things...some cushiony things, some paper things, some glass things, some soft things, etc....there, to not BOUNCE the sound around, but to ABSORB it gently and let the music resonate the way it should. In fact, Dan has three "Ask Dan Vasc" videos on his channel for just learning how it is that he produces everything himself. I think it's in the #2 video, that he talks about how to get a REALLY good sound when you're recording. Basically, in most cases, it has nothing to do with the equipment, and everything to do with how the sound is bouncing back, after it goes outward. As I said at first, though, you really did a tremendous reaction, and I will sub, and get notifications, and come back for more, and (again), I do REALLY love that wall! 😀
You are so correct about reactors interrupting the song that they are showcasing. I've unsubscribed from many channels for that particular reason. I'm sure your channel will grow with your attitude of respect to not chop up the experience subscribers tune in to hear. Your reaction was spot on.👍
Dan Vasc is incredible with everything he does. His rendition of the "Witcher" music is better than the originals. Another rabbit hole you may want to try is the country acapella group Home Free. Man of Constant sorrow is a great starting point
I'm a new subscriber and enjoyed your reaction video. If I'm not mistaken, Dan's father passed away 5 days before he did this video, and that was his Dad's harmonica. ❤
NEVER for anything from Dan Vasc, however. Every single piece of music on his channel is cleared from any type of copyright problems. Nobody needs to screen anything out (leave the raindrops off, people...thank you very much), and you don't have to stop. If I were doing it, I'd perhaps take notes while I'm listening, and then address those afterward. It's perfectly fine to sail in a lightweight comment while the video is still playing, but leave anything more than a couple of words, for after the entire thing has played. You can always go back to a section to highlight it, after the initial playthrough.
Supernatural. Presentation is as warrior in the Army of God. This was not of this fallen world, rather anointed from the heavenly realm. Who holds notes from one breath for 23 seconds??? (last note)
Actually, 23 seconds isn't that hard for anyone who sings on a consistent basis, who knows how to breathe correctly. As for this song, though, I've timed that last breath, carefully. Dan takes a (very quick) inward breath, just as he starts the final, "I see-e-e-e-e-, which then he just slides into the, "AHA!" and then keeps right on going with that fading note, until his final chin vibrato hits, and he's done, immediately. It's a full 25 seconds for that entire progression. The only time I've heard him beat that, is in "Black Wind, Fire, and Steel," which is TOTALLY AWESOME, all around! 😀
Oh man. Coming in a little late. I love Dan Vasc's rendition of this sond. Very awesome! However, beside that, what is that painting behind you? I love it and would like to get one myself! Crazy, right? But true!
I've given him some suggestions about that, that should just take a little simple adjustments to his surroundings. 😀 (The suggestions actually came from Dan, from one of his "Ask Dan Vasc" videos.)
You are so right about listening versus interrupting!! Thank you!!
Definitely goosebumps! EPIC
What a beautiful voice 🖤❤️🤟
I never get tired of listening to this. I listen to it at least 10 times a day. It gives me strength. Thanks dan

I've never seen anybody get that much mileage out of a single breath. Stunningly beautiful.
Thank you for your reaction. Although I have listened to Dan's version of this song, many, many times, it is still giving me goosebumps.

Carrie Underwood sings this gracefully in the USA, to me the best, but Dan blows it completely away! I m deeply impressed ❤
Dan Vasc is incredible with everything he does. His rendition of the "Witcher" music is better than the originals. Another rabbit hole you may want to try is the country acapella group Home Free. Man of Constant sorrow is a great starting point
I agree (about Home Free) AND Dan. 😀
I'm a new subscriber and enjoyed your reaction video. If I'm not mistaken, Dan's father passed away 5 days before he did this video, and that was his Dad's harmonica. ❤
This cover loses none of it’s impact even after hearing hundreds of times.
Agreed, because I have. 😊
I agree with too many pauses
A lot of times you have to pause to avoid copyright issues and risk the chance of have info the video blocked and a strike against your channel!

Thanks for listening
It's a snapshot of a painting on the internet
Dude - U had me att ”no stops”! Pls fix U sound - it is not god = (💩). Luv the reaction- pls more of Dan the man.
I suggested to him how to make the sound better. You can read my comment about that. 😀
How did his voice change from baritone to tenor?
Faith Hill sings this song beautifully, too.
poor audio!
I've given him some suggestions about that, that should just take a little simple adjustments to his surroundings. 😀 (The suggestions actually came from Dan, from one of his "Ask Dan Vasc" videos.)
The sound of the video is not very good. Still like the reactions
Bro why you got the picture of a lion and Jesus virgin or escaping each other that is not cool dude
that doesnt ssound right at all
