Hi Tyranno, Vin here. Firstly - here, here. We don’t all have the same level of time to crafting and honing our skills but we mean well, even if we hit you. 🥴 I’m just thankful that he’ll never get to experience my level of sportsmanship. 😂 (TypeOne) I’ll be using your guide in the morning. TY
Thank you sir! I actually loved making this, it helps me refine my technique and pace for the next time and it's exciting being able to actually help. The Anti Meta angle was honestly a marketing concept but I really do love driving the alternate cars and challenging myself. I appreciate you 🫶
great guide! i keep on making dumb mistakes, sitting at 54 with the gtr atm, will try to improve tonight, thanks for the long guide! didn't know about the lift on the straight to avoid 6th gear, i was losing so much there
Great vid, as usual! I think we have a clean version of Smy this week. He clean passed me side by side at Schwedenkreuz, one of the most dangerous spots and with me on the outside with zero contact
can you make a video about your braking technique? i noticed you turn in slightly before applying brakes(and subsequently trailbraking, like @2:35) which sort of clarifies trailbraking but do you turn in first then brake? or do you turn and brake at the same time? a video on it would be nice im trying to get out of the habit of braking in a straight line
A video on this would be a great call, but I actually don't feel really educated enough to make my own video on the specifics of trailbraking. I can tell you that every corner is different, but most corners are a brake before turning situation. Sometimes I'm turning a but initially on accident, which I think is what happened the time you marked. One thing I read recently is that "trail braking" is of course trailing off the brakes, but the deceleration as a whole going into the corner also includes losing speed simply by turning and adding steering, so if you turn before braking or brake first, it's all deceleration at different levels. Even ADDING throttle in order to control the rate of deceleration is still part of the deceleration into a corner and should be considered. TL;DR it's contextual but it's also all just deceleration into corners.
can you explain more why FR is better in the dry and MR in the wet? or maybe general differences in handling between the two? its hard for me to tell what handling aspects are due to being a different car vs different drivetrain
So in general in GT since GT sport, the MRs are just faster in the wet - but exactly why I'm not 100% sure of. My main thinking is since GT is abnormally understeery in general, and the MRs are tuned to be pretty unstable and oversteery in comparison, they are able to turn in a lot more efficiently than the FR cars, and on corner exit the extra weight over the rear tires allows them to accelerate earlier and with much less slip - which are both bonuses for performance in general. The understeery nature of GT overall is exacerbated by the understeery BOP setups on most FRs and they are in turn less stable on throttle making it a double negative.
I appreciate that you're not a toxic prick when talking about the other drivers. Mindfulness and good vibes are what we need ✌️👍
Mannnnn I try so hard not to be, thank you. I strive to be patient and kind, I'm glad I come off that way.

Thank you bro! I'm the same, I couldn't stop spinning yesterday lol. I'm glad the slight lift helped, it's so funny to have to lift to go faster 😂
Insane video man, I have been playing gt7 VR a few weeks now and I’m addicted. I have been working on learning this track all week this helped a ton
I very much love that it's helped! I'm jealous of being able to do VR, some day I'll acclimate!
would love to see more of your full races here
Noted! I have plans to record more in the future, thank you
Great vid, as usual!

Cracking video that was doubtless an absolute tonne of work.
I appreciate you sir, it was indeed a heavy undertaking but I'm glad I did it
Nice! Glad we got this before I'm off tomorrow. Got tons of practice to do and this should help. I know how much work something like this is.😊
I haven't watched it yet but I know it is going to be amazing. And helpful.
You're a consistently kind and generous man, thank you

Nah this edit was good!!! Perfect!!!😊😊😮❤😂😂😊😊😊
Thank you so much!
This guy thinks he can just drop a lap guide without me complimenting him. He's so wrong. He's also incredibly handsome.
This beautiful man comes here and decides to just make my day? Be warned, you're a sweetheart and you deserve the world.

To be fair I also posted it late so it's my fault 😔

I’m so happy you made this video and I really appreciate the hard work. You are truly a gem to the community 🥹
