Im getting a 23 VB same as ur color next month. I love it. And the reason is exactly what you said, in that price thats the fastest car you can get. People hate on this WRX. I think they are very wrong. They are judging mainly by the less horse power, and they are judging in comparison to the STI. And that is wrong. This car is very well made, the handling is amaaaazing, cornering is fabulous. The interior for the price is very sporty and comfortable. The plastics are there for a reason, if the looks is so much important to you paint them or get a black one ....easy. Actually i find them beautiful and unique even on the red or orange one. It doesnt win every race, but its a very fun car to drive and well built, when you close the doors or go cornering on speed you feel everything is solid. At the end most of us are not racers, we want a fast safe everyday car, and this one is very much. Thanks for the vid. I cant wait to get mine.
I agree that if you're looking for a raw experience then the WRX is better especially for the money. Subaru has done a good job improving the interior on the newer models. I haven't driven a Mk8 Golf R, but I daily drive a Mk7. I recently rode in a friends '22 WRX and I have to say the ride quality in my Mk7 Golf R is way better. The WRX was much more harsh over bumps, I would not want to daily drive it. Purists will always take the MT but I love the dual-clutch transmission, I use mine exclusively with the paddles.
If you like automatic, then VW is incredible. VW has master auto transmissiona. I personally prefer manual, and I don't like the feel of VW manual transmission. Too rubbery and numb.
I'm curious if you mean OTD for under MSRP. I just keep checking prices to make sure I got a good deal for my new 2023 base--mats and back liner--for 30,800 OTD.
Good breakdown - makes sense
Thanks!

I agree with all of your points!
I agree with your reasoning. Also, I really like it in white.
@diallo1347 i dont know , ive hated white on sedans for a long time, maybe because my parents had a white Sunny in the 80s 🤣
Vb is the best wrx ever made with a few engine mods in blows the doors of previous gen in terms of quickness

Only 1 reason is needed and that’s that it’s a SUBARU WRX and not a VW 😂❤ cheers from Oz 🇦🇺🏁
Thanks

Under MSRP but if a dealer does that and then wipes it out with accessory fees etc then not really a discount
