Phil looks like a regular guy. A “cup o coffee in morning” kind of guy. Though the second he sings, his voice is instantly recognizable. He’s a blessed individual for sure. Chester is driving the bus here. Holy F he’s incredible!

I remember during the introductions of the band members to the audience, Phil tells the audience that Leland was clean shaven when they started the concert. That was hilarious. Its really nice for Phil to interact with the audience with humor.

It was great to see you get all giddy and excited and flowing with the rhythm and pointing out to everyone that was you back in the days! How I wish I saw a Phil Collins concert back in 90 when I was a senior in high school. The music was so great back then. I'm glad I have a son who even though he's only 16 he appreciates music from the past.

So much energy in this performance, I caught myself just groovin with it!
I got to meet Suzy after her Christmas show in Fuquay Varina.. Four days later I was admitted into the hospital. I had gotten through prostrate cancer several months earlier and was now dealing with a portal vein thrombosis which is a blood clot to the liver. I had lost 35lbs over several months. Getting to meet and talk to her meant a lot to me. Like Leland has mentioned before she’s a very kind person and with what I had been going through along with the Covid lock down meant the world to me spending time talking to her. Great voice and also a great person to boot.

Quite a masterful group of super talented performers. I believe you always got more than your monies worth at one of Phil's concerts. This a prime example of why Phil believes in intense rehearsing before going on tour. All the best to Phil and Genesis on their upcoming tour.
You have to admire a man who can take to the big stage AND spell colours properly. I'm nursing a very short sleep with a very strong coffee myself here this morning. Caffeine has no effect on me but the quiet ritual does. I might just have to have a second cup on your behalf; desperate times require desperate measures. Easy does it out there.

LOVE that concert. So heart felt and the audience was so into it.
It was one of the most powerful tours that Phil did and one of the most ambitious, one of the downsides to the tour is that he had to key down a couple of songs due to his voice.
What a wonderful song/album . I used to have this album on tape, yes tape as in a cassette tape, and play it many times whilst driving around in my first car especially into the countryside.
The percussion, drums, brass incredible.
Oh and the bass too of course 🤪

I was thinking the same thing about "Shower The People". I heard it today and thought that would be a good song to watch you do. And then I thought you had probably done it hundreds of episodes ago. I always appreciate watching and hearing about Mr. C. His songs guided me through young adulthood. Thanks, Lee!

I can't speak for Leland regarding his sleep issue but he said it has been life long w no ill effects. I too am the same. Only adverse effect for me is trying to explain to people why I dont sleep and I sometimes get bored at night when everyone else is asleep. Most of my life I fixed that by working 3rd shift. Now Im retired. More time to read and listen to music. A few of us seem to not require sleep and we are okay

Love the way the audiences cheer as Phil moves to the drum kit! When I saw Genesis live in 1978 Chester and Phil blew me away. I kept thinking what is going on? a drum duet? Really? It blew everyone away. A highlight of the concert. Best concert of my life (and I saw Pink Floyd, EL&P, and more). You can see and feel how much Phil LOVES the drumming!

Just watched that whole Berlin show. Leland is 100% correct- what an amazing ensemble! It would be great if he could break down Saturday Night, Sunday Morning sometime. The chart is great highlight of the horn and rhythm sections and his take would be interesting to hear. If there's any backstory on the song itself from Leland's perspective, it would only be a bonus learning experience!
