wooow i'm from Comoros and i must say i'm hugely glad to see such a presentation of my country published on TH-cam and got viewed across the worldwide. Thank you Dude for this beautiful presentation, keep doing such amazing things. Unfortunately you couldn't find a comorian to interpret, hopefully next time you'll find someone, if ever you need anyone, you may contact me to look for somebody from Comoros. Thank you so much
Tap Brother #1 what do you mean by what's Comoros like? Regarding the accuracy of the video, i have to says it's almost perfect but there are few things that are may be misinformed by the person who was transmitting to the presentor especially the issue of the Island of Maore. But it's not a big a deal.
+brunovervoort In my country we spell Philippines: Filippinerna. Dang, Gustav Vasa should have been more eager to colonize the planet. Dang it, Now I have to wait till 2020 for Geography Now to release the Philippines episode. Thanks Vasa.
Well, I'm not from Comoros. But I live in France and there's a lot of them there, about 500.000 I believe. I know some, they are all from Ngazidja and they are really respectful and devout people. They all recognise Mayotte as a part of Comoros.
Ur pretty popular in Saudi Arabia !there is a main street with your country's name !!tho I think a lot of people thought you spoke Arabic haha!!great video
Kamila Jaffar Abbas, hey, i am planing to move to comoros can you please help or guide me whatsapp me at +918421742472 or email me at belim.gulam@gmail.com
Really didn't know much about Comoros! It's episodes like these I look forward to most I think, really learning about countries I knew very little about! Keep em' coming!
Cape Verde, Comoros and Seychelles are the places I've always wanted to visit. I'm kinda obsessed with the idea of visiting tiny African island countries.
I'm from Mayotte island and I have to admit from 1:49 to 1:54 got me laugh to death😂😂😂..anyway I loved your presentation..basically you've nailed the most important parts and this is what really counts..keep up to the good work!
1:12 I can even name the dinosaurs - Grande Comore is _Corythosaurus_ (the one with a rounded head), Mohéli is _Edmontosaurus_ (formerly _Anatotitan_ ), and Anjouan is _Parasaurolophus_ (albeit turned upside down).
Comorian and proud ❤ #TeamComoros Some mispellings in and there but that was quite accurate. You forgot to mention the ''Colonial Agreement'' which explains why so many african countries (14 to be exact) have French as one of their official languages.
hey miya how are you how can i contact you ? i Have been time searching for someone from comoros because i want to travel there i have a business Plan for your country dear and i want to make it the hawai of the arabs
DAMN IT BARBY! Now I have Bananas in Pyjamas stuck in my head. Thanks mate... Bananas, in pyjamas, are coming down the stairs Bananas, in pyjamas, are coming down in pairs..... *sigh*
why did they swim to Comoros when they could use a boat? did they even know to construct a boat capable of sailing to Comoros? I'm pretty sure they sailed to Comoros instead of walking on the sea.
I always love learning more about island nations. No offense to mainland or landlocked nations. They are interesting too. It's just that island nations usually have this allure and exoticism that surrounds their history and culture. Perhaps it's my mind telling me to book more vacation getaways. But I feel so enticed to learn more about island sovereignties for some reason. Also, I grew up with Bananas in Pajamas, so major points, Barby!
I just wanna say man your videos are really awesome and insightful, dont stop making them!! (also they make geography more fun and easier to learn at school)
It took me 6 years to find an amazing presentation for my beautiful country, well done keep it up, Dude. Glad to see that hard work, Thanks for all. Next time I ensure you will find more subscribers from Comoros.
The image at 9:05, with men and women in different queues is not from Comoros but from a traditional function/event in Buganda, the biggest province in Uganda. So not only is it not about elections, its not even from anywhere near Comoros. Just thought i'd point that out. Great video otherwise. Cannot wait for the Uganda video.
+Cofi EAZY Okay we cool :) I am just getting pissed off with these xenophobics and racists that appear everywhere. Like even in a random commercial. These ignorant people give me a bad day :/
I really love the scent of ylang ylang, and it’s amazing how Comoros is the largest producer of ylang ylang! Sending lots of love to Comoros from China! 🇨🇳❤️🇰🇲
Could someone expand on the fact that Comoros doesn't have safe docking spots due to the absence of a continental shelf? Does it mean that the water depth increases very quickly and the shore can't support other structures?
Funny thing is, there are actually TWICE more comorians in Marseille, France than in Moroni, Comoros, even though it is the largest city in the country. And by the way, the comorian rapper-singer Soprano, who comes from Marseille, is THE most famous comorian, being a superstar all over the french-speaking world, along with rapper Rohff.
SantomPh not only does it not have official religion, it's filled with Muslims and Christians, all of which have the most rights and freedoms in the middle east.
Naaah we live in peace with Madagascar, Tanzania, Cote d'Ivoire, India...no matter the religion They come, we go...no problem The population is not turned to discrimination and fights (in real we're a bit cowards and like to learn from foreigners while eating grilled chicken with fried bananas on a beach during sunset)😂
As someone from reunion island (another island in Indian Ocean, which has a part of comoros and maore in his population) you describe well what my Comorian uncle and my Maore friends describe me of Mayotte and the comoros.
Man,this must be really hard work to research a lot in a country and such!>< I'm really grateful that you decided to make this series so that we're learning and laughing at the same time and by laughing I meant the jokes and not the...you know.Incredible job.Keep up the great work and stay awesome~
That is exactly the situation with my siblings. Three of us remained Maltese and the other two became Italian. lol The island may be small but they have some pretty interesting history. Thanks for the great video, mate.
It is Actually speculated that the capitol Moroni actually was the namesake for the Mormon angel Moroni. The angel Moroni lead Joseph smith to the hill “Cumorah”. It is thought by some that young Joseph Smith read the stories of the Pirate Captain Kidd who did have stories of visiting the islands via the port of Moroni and thus how Smith got these unique sounding names.
Wonderful video, as always! :D Oh gosh, I do remember Bandiaterra, Paul presented it so seriously and with such effort and detail, as if it was a real country, and I almost fell for it! xD :3
Fatortu Since I found this channel only about 3 months ago, I actually watched it recently and I was suprised to hear about the existence of a country named "Bandiaterra"... At first, I thought that the video was about a recently-declared independence country/state, somewhere in China or South-Eastern Asia. Then, when he said about it being located in an archipelago in the Indian Ocean I was imediately like "Wait, what? Is he talking about the Chagos Archipelago or what, such islands do not simply exist!" :O. I checked the upload date of the video and realised it was posted on April 1st! xD I now knew it was a joke, but I still watched the rest of the episode with a lot of pleasure! :D I am amazed what imagination Paul has, and how he made it so it seemed as if he was talking about an actual real island nation! He is truly amazing! :D
In terms of age, Comoros is pretty much the opposite of China. China having the problem of a lot of its population being very old, and Comoros having a lot of its population being very young.

Comoros and Mayotte it's a quite difficult story, I still proud to be from Mayotte but it's really problematic in the area geopolitics
I love your lighthearted style of talking about different countries and you obviously put a tremendous amount of work into each video.
