So the Tesla key, which is basically just a regular car key, is gimmicky? But not the huge, impractical key that needs to be charged way more that a regular car key and has functions that could easily be implemented in an app? I think it's safe to say which of them is the gimmick...

lol, People at Germany are so lucky. In America we get pulled over cruising at 90 mph which is sometimes stupid especially when no one is on the high way
@@khaledald6157 America is very relaxed on speeding compared to Australia. We get a ticket (or speed camera fine) for travelling 2 km/h over the speed limit. As a result, most people travel under the speed limit, and multilane highways don't work very well, because you cant use the fast lane to overtake, so everyone just drives side by side.
@@desparky America gives tickets on tinted windows, overtaking, traffic-stalling or any suspicious activity. But German Autobahn is #1

150 kph is a nice cruising speed !! I have only reached that on a handful of interstates and it lasts for a max of 5 mins before I encounter traffic, uneven pavement, or curves. 115 kph (72 mph) is the typical cruising speed over here.

The battery doesn't overheat so much - it's cooled. It's the motors which overheat. You need the big battery for this general performance (meaning battery power output), yes - but power is restricted then by motor management way more than the battery itself.
tesla is future, imagine when u re stucked in traffic, and auto pilot will be very useful lol, we could checking our phone and let the car drive it self

These cars have great speed but at this time the danger of fires outweigh the benefits. There was a crash in Fort Lauderdale Fl where two teens died after hitting the wall and the car burst in flames and they could not get out. However the driver had a speeding ticket issued one month before for going over 100 mph. The accident happened around May 5, 2018 and is still being looked into.

By looking at the video I was surprised to see that the sensation of speed at 200 km/h is greater than for example an RS6 at 280 - 300km/h and I wonder why.
It may be that the wind noise is more powerful and the suspension is more bouncy?

M773 It has the 0-60 time of a Supercar but you can 100% use it as a family car. My dad has the 100d which is still fast, but an awesome family car.

Great Easter egg! Because the first thing I want to do when I get in my car is look at the Martian landscape or draw a picture of myself hurrying to work. Don't like the rainbow road though, should have been a yellow brick road. Other than that, thank you Tesla!

I'm a car freak, I spent my life dealing in cars, retired with no income then the Tesla comes around. I am blown away by this speed I see. If I bought one, should I buy a 3 or a model S?

How long can you hold it at 250 kph before it goes into limp modus?
I think when the speed turns orange/red is when it lets you know cruising at that speed will overheat the motors. So probably around 230kph and youre safe. For most of us that don't live in germany that will never be a concern lol

What a minicar key
Can you comment the driving comfort in terms of comfortable suspension. And compare it to AMG C43 air body or e-class. Is it more hard or more comfortable. I am looking for powerful car and prefer an electric car but still has to be very comfortable. The C43 would be the alternative choice. Thank you.
Carpediem1312 I own a Tesla P85 right now, used to drive a Merc C250 2015 model. Although I cannot speak on the C43, the Tesla is definitely the harshest ride I’ve ever had. Have driven around 30-35 different cars over the last years due to different reasons, and out of all these cars my Tesla definitely stands out. Apparently it’s because of the heavy weight of the batteries, which are also located in the undercarriage of the car. The weight makes it so that the dampers/springs/shock absorbers have to be a lot stiffer than in other cars. Same goes for the Model X (never owned one, but have driven a few including the X P100D and X 75D).
Teslas have air suspension. Its not S class softness but its better than c class for softness. I also have a c200 so cant speak for a c43 but im assuming a c43 should be harsher as it would need to be for cornering purposes?
supaahflyy yep, air suspension in Teslas. However, the air suspension somehow feels jerky and harsh... especially here in Norway with our shitty, frozen and cracked open roads
