A beautiful and symbolic wedding bowl! The image of a marriage where one person is a large blob of partially hardened resin (that was me in my marriage ) mixed together with another person to form something wonderful! Thanks, Jim!!
What a stunning bowl! I am sure the happy newlyweds will treasure this! Don’t mind your vids when they are long, I find them fascinating and enjoyable. Thanks!
WOW! This bowl is GORGEOUS!! I love the color separation you were able to get and the burl has such character and is so beautiful. The happy couple will be thrilled to get such a wonderful work of art. I know I would be!! This is one of my all time favorites of yours.
Very nice Jim: they will be a happy couple when they see the bowl for real. Now they know how it was made. The resin actually looks like outer space, to me. The burl has a really nice grain to it. Outstanding job on the project. I bet the final weight is a lot less than the start weight. Take care and stay safe. PS: maybe do a project with a bunch of captive blackflies in it.
AMAZING! What a beautiful piece of ART. This is an amazing wedding gift something to treasure! Definitely had your challenges with this one , you worked thru it and it turned out awesome! Fantastic as always thanks for sharing!
Jim, I think this is my favorite bowl so far. I'm glad you didn't give up, this is Fabulous. The newlyweds are going to love this. You out did yourself, great job Jim ! DesignerEpoxy 👍 👍
Wow!😮 What an absolute amazing bowl! The movement in the color separation couldn’t have been any more perfect especially with that burl. The silver ring on the top was such an awesome personal touch to celebrate the joining of this lucky couple. Great job, Jim!❤
Whew! What an amazing piece, Jim. I’m glad that resin blob did not cause you problems. Where a previous commenter saw outer space in the resin part, I see ocean currents and the burl as land masses. I’m sure that Jackie and Alex will appreciate this wedding gift. Your skills keep me in awe, well done, Sir!
That is some of the best color separation., and the burl is awesome as well. When the big blob of purple went in I was wishing you good luck. The newlyweds are going to love 💕 it. Lots of thumbs up on this one Jim 👍👍👍👍👍.
It’s beautiful. I missed the Premiere & I was up this time. I’m going to check my settings. Edit: you should ask other creators who deal with metals what they use for a cheaper stand in for white gold. Like diamonds can be replaced with cubic zirconia or crystal or glass. There’s probably a workable substitute for white gold
I’m assuming that most would say aluminum. Keep in mind I need to either cut it back with the gouge or sand it. They can grind and I can to some extent. One issue would be the metal getting too hot then releasing from the glue or resin. This has happened to me in the past. Thanks for the suggestion!

I haven't had any weird TH-cam issues. I've just found that, for my life, it's more convenient to show up, watch a bunch of videos, then disappear a while. Regularity is simply unnatural for me. But I can see how the TH-cam issues might be problematic for you. That's really frustrating. I really look forward to your videos, so when I want to watch them, I just click your name from my sub list or go to an old internet tab on one of your vids (I'll often have several open). Then I just check what new stuff you have out and have fun! Beautiful bowl! I do agree, white gold is a very light kind of metal, and it turned out a pretty deep grey in this bowl. But rings are made of many types of metal, and some people really love silver! I see nothing wrong with calling it a silver ring in the bowl! Love the colors you picked. They really go together well, and that burl makes beautiful music with your resins!
