My wife and I absolutely love your videos. We watch them every night before we go to bed and are just mesmerized by your talents. Thanks for all you do! This piece is gorgeous!
I love pine cones and collect them! You have given me fun ideas! Learning new ideas from you from every video. Never heard of Kintsugi before. Designer Epoxy seems like the way to go!
I know you were disappointed about the inlay, but I think you made the right decision. The piece flow. It is beautiful. Love the sqautty body shape. Congratulations on getting a new daughter, even tho after 9 years….😊 Have a good weekend
I just started watching your can you do such amazing work my name is Elizabeth Price. And I couldn't think of anything nicer than to have one of your pieces of true art work.❤❤❤❤❤
I agree, this is your best project yet. My only complaint is that I wasn’t the person who won it. Lol I’m sure Brad and his family will treasure it. It truly is a special piece. Congratulations Jim, 100,000 subscribers is quite a feat. A goal you worked hard to obtain. Congratulations Jim, I’m sure, like I, that everyone Canada is proud of you and your achievement.
Congratulations Jim. You're most deserving of a 100K subscribers. The giveaway bowl was absolutely outstanding. As a fellow Canadian I feel a sense of pride in your success. Again congratulations on your accomplishments. 🎉🥂🍾👏
Instead of white fill, I would have preferred gold. I think the contrast with blue would have made it more pronounced, and what’s classier than Blue and Gold? Another thought with the pine cones might be to “plant” them on the base block with a dab of hot glue, or thin glue, instead of laying them on their sides. I wonder if the lack of thermal cracking might have been due to the high density of the “filler objects.” I think if there had been slightly more space for the resin to fill up, it would have been able to get hotter and produce more cracking. No inlay! The wild shapes of the internal objects showing through are FABULOUS! You asked for our thoughts, so there you have mine. 😁
💙🇺🇲 Personally i'm not the biggest fan of inlays and it's not because they don't look great (they do) but for me i see it as taking away from the more natural flowing look of the piece and one that better fits the decor of a swanky hotel lobby sitting area. I'm at the part in the vid where your just getting finished with hollowing out the bowl/urn and it is so cool looking. You have really honed your skills as this is a beauty! Glad i came upon your channel today and hope to see more of your wonderful art. Looking forward to watching the rest of this vid. I looked up your web site to check out your wares (beautiful) but was disappointed that there were not any bowls/urns of the type you created today 😕. Maybe you'll have some put up for sale in the near future?? Those nut shells you used were bang'n. They made me think of screaming specters flying through the sky. 😊 💜🙏☮🙏💜
Unfortunately I’m sold out and TH-cam takes so much of my time I can’t make anything for my website. Each week, sometimes the pieces that I make are for sale, at this time I can’t take anymore commissions as my list is too long now. Thanks for watching!
Hi 👋 Jim, I hope you are all keeping safe and well, That looks an amazing piece of art, very time consuming, and well worth the cost as you mentioned at the end, as it is not just the material cost, it’s your tools and equipment and the electric to do all the work, We all look forward to your next project , keep up the amazing work, and all the best for the future. Phil from the moulin.
Jim, Resin always has it own mind and this is so above most of your things. You always make your projects into works of art to be displayed in an art museum. WOW!
Congratulations for reaching 100,000 subscribers!! This piece is my absolute favorite of all I have seen you create!! The use of all of the different types of things in it totally make this unique!!!!
This one leaves me at a loss for words -- it's awesome. That sounds trite, but it truly is an awesome piece. All my favorites: box elder burl, pinecones, sweetgum pods, resin balls, etc. and a classically beautiful form.
😜Congrats on the 100K, hope your family and friends had a great wedding, Thank you for the help in doing what you do. I turned you onto my father who is now watching your videos to help him build his skills with epoxy and a lathe.
This is so Beautiful and Unique. I love watching all of your Turning projects. Every video is so educational, for those doing Wood turning on the Lathe. For those of us, just memorized in the piece of Art, being turned. Wow!!! Love it!!!😍🤩
Congratulations Jim. Quite the milestone. Wow 100,000 subscribers. Here's to the next 100,000. Beautiful hollow form. The colors are awesome. It really shows off the highlight pieces over the last 3 years. It's been a wonderful learning experience for us as well as for yourself. Bravo
I thought this was one of your most impressive creations. Then i saw the images at the end with the internal lighting. WOW! I'm not a wood worker, or artisan of any kind. But I look forward to your videos every week. Thank you!
Oh my gosh! My computer has been down, and I'm trying to catch back up and I see you've been very busy creating this wonderful vase. I wasn't sure about all the multi-colored resin bits but by golly they worked! Lit from within, it resembles a galaxy with the pearlized blues (and silver) and floating suns, moons and planets, and all sorts of weird, bizarre shapes thrown in. Something Captain Kirk would be proud to display in his stateroom, imho. Well done, and congratulations on the 100,000 mark. Please tell your son and daughter-in-law we send our best, and good luck!
For the white, try using a liquid dye white epoxy coloring. The dyes are very solid color, you won't see your mixing stick at all. Congrats on the 100k subs, that's awesome!
It looks amazing. The colors, especially the sapphire blue are fantastic! It may not be what you had in mind when you started; however, it’s a huge success!!
Very Beautiful Hollow Form. I love the colors and wood and stuff you added to it. Congratulations on 100k and congrats to the winners. Until the next one. Have a wonderful weekend and week God bless
Through time I have settled on only watching epoxy turning. The mix of resin, the add ons and the making of the mold, some people have to do, is so much more interesting than turning wood. I personally don't turn all wood anymore and I learn something from everyone who turns epoxy. You earned the following you now have and congratulations. Cheers, Lee
Oh it’s stunning! It reminds me of a beautiful peaceful coral reef. My daughter says its calming to her. She’s autistic. You did a beautiful peace. Love it.
Loved this video! Congrats on the 100,000 and your sons wedding. So happy you are out for under the fires there. Wow, what a summer you've had. Great Job Jim this bowl is gorgeous!
That is just an absolute beautiful bowel and it does look like a fish bowel. Love the hyper shift in colors.. congrats on the 100k GOD BLESS from a fellow Ontarioian
Wow! That is absolutely stunning! I love the shapes the walnuts make in the final piece. It reminds me of what I would imagine space would look like too.
I don't do any woodturning but I love watching your videos. I love your creativity with the wood, resin and other materials. The colors you choose work so well with each of your projects. Awesome work!!!
You always have made the right call on your pieces in my opinion a inlay would have been nice but life goes on. Once again a beautiful piece. Congratulations on getting 100 thousand you have worked hard for it..
You are a very special person to have and appreciate all that you love ❤️ doing keep up with all your projects and bless you for enjoying your time and work
Always have a special place in my heart for the natural inlay bowls. That's what drew me to first subscribe to your channel. Congratulations on 100,000!
That piece is absolutely incredible! I can only hope to make something that beautiful one day. I'm a baby woodworker trying to start a business while being a SAHM to 5 kiddos. I'll get there, though. It's my ONE DAY dream/plan, and I always make my ONE DAYs happen. Thank you for all of the amazing knowledge you share, Sir.

Thank you very much!
I know you were disappointed about the inlay, but I think you made the right decision. The piece flow. It is beautiful. Love the sqautty body shape.
Congratulations on getting a new daughter, even tho after 9 years….😊

Thanks so much!
Congratulations you deserve it!!! You know what a great stress reliever beating the crap out of the bucket to get the resin to come out.
It sure is, lol. Thanks
You just got a daughter-in-law, 100,000 viewers and you are building a home. I hope you are at every school teaching the woodshop teacher how to
Motivate kids to work with wood.
Thanks, I really appreciate it!

FUNKADELIC AWESOME! A true beauty! While I am an inlay purist 🤪, I agree you made the correct call on NOT adding inlay on this piece 😃

My youngest used to call lathe shavings "forbidden noodles". It would be amazing to see a bowl made of those forbidden treats...
It’s in the queue. Thanks, I really appreciate it!
That is a very, very beautiful piece. I've never seen anything like that. And congratulations to your son and your new daughter-in-law.

@@SpragueWoodturning look forward to watching more of your videos.
If you want a really heavy white, use titanium dioxide powder. It makes it heavier so it sinks and is very opaque
Thanks for the info!
Absolutely gorgeous Jim. I LOVE it!!!!
