- If you practice these four sets of correspondences, you’ll not only be able to read a Waite-Smith Tarot deck, you will be able to read ANY Tarot deck. Even the ones that don’t have illustrated scenes on the Minor Arcana. (And with a very minor adjustment, you’ll be able to apply this knowledge to regular playing cards.)

I have been trying to find the right tarot expert teacher for quite a while on youtube and no one has given was able to give me the in depth information that I knew one can read with tarot cards. I have always understood astrology very well and I knew that tarot cards have more use with them than just only interpreting the symbolism. 1:16 Oh thank goodness, bc I never got how Swords got assigned with Air. They're a sheath of metal that is forged in fire. If we're supposed to go off of swords swinging in the air as the reason, then wouldn't wands be more appropriate since they not only get waved in the air, but they represent the extension of the *invisible* energy from our spell-casting finger. More reinforcement: Air is also invisible and Fire is gleaming like a Sword. For a long time, I felt that Wands & Swords should swap elements, especially considering the fact that Air is light like a Wand & Swords are heavy (and destructive like fire). But then I realized, I'd have to rearrange so many other correspondences bc alot of them relate to the elements. So it's a relief that you gave that reassurance. I don't have to worry about being exact or perfect, I can just go with whatever resonates for me. Thank you!
Always use what works for you. Wands/Air & Swords/Fire has an equally strong tradition. Especially for those who are practicing the pagan path.

To the best of my knowledge, there is no comprehensive book dedicated to using Elemental Dignities. After determining the dignities, how does that relationship affect the reading?
It can heighten positive (or negative) cards, or lessen positive (or negative cards). Really helps in prioritizing which parts of a spread are more important in the reading.

I have one question or need clarification from you, please.
A few times, when I've pulled card as time clarification it was court cards, like knight of swords and queen of wands. How I suppose to conect the dots here? According to elemental dignities or? Thank you in advance 🥰🙏
Court Cards are null for determining timing in this system.
(Although I would interpret a Knight of Wands as “very soon.”)

Ah i forgot something, some person mention that major arcana also resembles an element and zodiac, have you use that too ?
There are correspondences to elements and zodiacal signs for the Major Arcana. Most people use the Golden Dawn correspondences, but I do not so I don’t teach them.

I have a deck where wands are air and swords are fire- then what?
Follow your deck’s correspondences, since there was probably a reason you were drawn to use it. One of my favorite decks in my collection is the Nigel Jackson and it has Air for Wands and Fire for Swords.

Feng Shui has a creation/destruction diagram of the elements that isn’t part of the Western tradition.
water is across from fire and earth is across from air historically but if you follow masonry or the golden dawn it is earth water air and fire this is wrong... always ways EARTH WATER AIR FIRE... fire shouuld be in the east and it should be Michael
sword is fire wands should be air
this is what happens when you read crowley and any author influenced by crowley if fire is enemy of water why in nature would they be next to each other
Depends on the deck and the tradition. The Golden Dawn is only one of many different traditions. If you adhere to GD and it works for you, absolutely use that method. But most Golden Dawn stuff does not work for me at all. I studied it for years (decades actually), but it resulted in unintelligible readings. I won’t even bother teaching those methods anymore.
The Chinese have a completely different way of looking at the elements. It is all laid out in a pattern where one element feeds one, but destroys another.

My husband and I are thinking of doing open readings every other Sunday at brunch...something that was a tradition in my family when I was growing up. My mom would clear the brunch dishes and then start doing readings with whatever oracle she had on hand.
