Getting their ass kicked by the fighters is understandable when you consider that your average fighter can get shot, stabbed, burned, neck snapped etc. without slowing down much, the special forces guys are naturally outmatched. Imagine trying to fight when any fighter can perform a brutality on you, but you do normal damage.

Johnny is my fav but honestly, I'm one of those guys who prefer the versions of Mortal Kombat where Liu Kang is the mc and Johnny is the second most important character and they book the two as the top two brass of the Earthrealm fighters. That was one of the things I liked the most about the 1995 MK movie.

2 things I wanna say. I really liked how Johnny cage stepped up as more or less the new earth realm champion. And scorpion in mk11 should’ve apologised to young Liu kang, Kung Lao and the rest, it’s because of him their older versions are still revenants. And I’d have liked to see some remorse on that.

Except when MK11 explain that his glow only nerfs Elder Gods meaning he would still lose to Sub-Zero and Scorpion. This scene would make more sense if Kenshi to beat both of them due to him having abilities to match theirs. Like the part where Scorpion was standing behind Johnny waiting for him to notice before he attack, Kenshi would just sense Scorpion so they can take out that awkward pause and kept the fight fluid. I also think think the scene of Johnny being frozen would be better with Kenshi because instead of thawing out just before Sub-Zero swings his blade Kenshi could have use hit telekinesis to pull the crowbar first blocking the swing and then breaking out the ice. I think the game would have been better letting Kenshi have the badass opening moment then letting Johnny have his badass moment defeating Shinnok.

This scene would make more sense if Kenshi to beat both of them due to him having abilities to match theirs. Like the part where Scorpion was standing behind Johnny waiting for him to notice before he attack, Kenshi would just sense Scorpion so they can take out that awkward pause and kept the fight fluid. I also think think the scene of Johnny being frozen would be better with Kenshi because instead of thawing out just before Sub-Zero swings his blade Kenshi could have use hit telekinesis to pull the crowbar first blocking the swing and then breaking out the ice. I think the game would have been better letting Kenshi have the badass opening moment then letting Johnny have his badass moment defeating Shinnok.

@@ryoko6163 I think his point is Johnny is a normal person aside from the glow(which he didn't use at all in this fight) shouldn't not be able to take on 2 superhumans like Scorpion and Sub-Zero, logically it would make more sense for Kenshi to do it because he has superhuman abilities as well. Logically Johnny would fair only slightly better than the soldiers did lol.

Sub zero, another ninja, controls ice that FREEZES PEOPLE ON CONTACT and was the successor of his brother and controlled an entire clan single handedly. Based on my Ingame experience subzero can't just turn people into ice the fatalities are different and not based on the main story. Johnny cage have almost invulnerability to magic. @@secretname2093 Johnny doesn't even know about his powers yet. Its until like 15 years later he learns about it and even then he barely knows how to control it. He even got beaten by cyrax back in his prime when he was much more younger and fit. Scorpion has killed bi han who was, and I must let you know, THE BEST LIN KUEI. That is not an easy task. And obviously both scorpion and Johnny would get stronger but I'm pretty sure Scorpion would still have the upper hand. Especially when he was able to defeat Nightwolf who killed super overpowered Sindel (obviously he killed himself too but he held up considerably.) Also in game stuff shouldn't count because people like Mileena in mkx have an x ray were she stabs you in the ears, bites your frontal lobe, and stabs you in the eyes, and you can get up like nothing happened. In mk11 most fatal blows should be an insta kill to the entire roster. Point and case Erron Black. He literally shoots you 4 times in the upper body, some in the neck, hits you with his revolvers, and shoots you in the eyes. You'll be very dead. Johnny Cage would very much not beat both Sub Zero and Scoprion at the same time. Especially in his current state.

Whoever they pick, has to be able to fight like him (along with having his nut punch move) and have his on screen style. A guy that I know says that WWE Star The Miz would be a Good JC and his wife a Good Sonya but I doubt that (Very Much).
