    1. Lead generation: email, cold call,...check competitors for reference
    2. Qualify your prospect: asking questions to know whether they are fit for you to sell
    3. Pitch & Demo: how you actually solve their problems & what they will have if they acquire this product (dont talk much about other features which are not their painpoints)
    4. Close to next steps: assist their next steps/recommendations to consult their process of adopting this product
    5. Following up: set the expectation & schedule for next meeting

Great video, all I would add is I like to qualify the decision maker on the discovery call and only talk to that person on the strategy session. I find its gets messy to trying to and get everyone on a 2nd call, and hard to get a decision out of someone when theres several people on the call. Also, booking a 3rd call is also another headache. Great if it works for you though. :) We were doing $800k/m month in sales in our executive call centre that I managed from '07 to '09.

Do you have any similar videos but that are more geared towards mid-market and / or Enterprise SaaS / Tech complex and longer sales cycles? Just would love a bit more detail on process and tactic. Forecasting, how to better qualify, deeper disco, how to build pipeline and optimize your workflow etc.

Like for example insurance sales, medical device sales, industrial sales etc. I know software sales is what your main knowledge is on but it would be nice to know the different types of sales you can go into and know which one is right for you. Great video!❤......

Patrick, last century, starting in 1968, I progressively opened the market in both Australia and the States for vertical markets, because while I had the basic Engineering training that enabled me to understand applications in depth, I also had an understanding of Accounting Software from Mainframe through to Minicomputer applications. This century It is hard to get that breadth of Sales Training that last century was common place in the offices of what was referred to as Snowhite (IBM) and the Seven Dwarfs. That market has radically changed and I think that many of your viewers would appreciate you covering the sale to specific industry sectors, because without that specific understanding many Sales people flounder. As an example I personally initiated the creation of the World's first Debit Card in 1982, after the newly appointed CEO of the major Card business sort my personal advice, because of my proven practical experience in the International Banking Sector. That's not the story you will find with a Google search, but now that I have survived 12weeks in the COVID 19Intensive Care Ward at The Alfred Hospital in Melbourne Australia and 18weeks in COVID Recovery, I now have the time available to set that important record straight.
I am supporting your viewers request for further information because while you may have to further research the subject your explanation of the underlying factors would be well appreciated. Phil.

00:00 💻 Learn 5 steps to sell SaaS, including lead generation and guiding potential customers through the sales funnel.
01:53 💬 Qualify your prospects to ensure they are a fit to buy and find effective outreach channels to generate leads.
03:37 👋 Qualify your prospect by identifying their pain, budget, timeline, and decision makers before presenting your sales pitch.
05:44 💻 Use remote PowerPoint or Keynote presentations to address client pain points and demonstrate how your SaaS can solve their problems.
07:21 💻 Focus on solving customer's problems and pain points when presenting software or SaaS, and understand the next steps in the selling process for prospects.
09:08 💬 Ask prospects about their needs and handle objections, then recommend the next step for them to buy and offer to be on the call for smoothness.
10:28 📅 Schedule a meeting with everyone to discuss if it's a good fit and save time.
11:48 💼 Follow up is key in sales deals and setting expectations early on can make it easier to resume conversations later, while the five steps to selling SaaS involve building rapport, identifying pain points, presenting a solution, handling objections, and closing the deal.
