Great video Brian. Couple notes I would like to make is Graphene BX is a 1-year coating and and maintenance is another 1-year. So at most it would be 2-3 years of protection. 5-years protection would be the ArtDeShine Nano Graphene/SPS Graphene.

The Art de Shine graphene coating on the corrected black paint looks spectacular. This new technology is exciting and I can’t wait for it to be widely available at a more affordable price. When you add in the improved resistance to water spots this coating should become a big seller. I was going to re-coat my car with a silicon dioxide based coating but now I will be waiting for this magic in a bottle.
I used SPS Graphene coating on a black VW Golf R and the results were spectacular..my go to coating was CQuartz but SPS is technically superior so will use Graphene from now on

I'll stick with the 3M hand glaze that I've been using for decades. The shine is unrivalled, and water sheets off, no beading. It's about $ 20.00 for 32oz

Apocalypse487 it is noticeable 100%..SYDNEY Australia was warm when I first applied Graphene coating,and after install requires a damp towel to further spread the coating then buffed off..on black looked killer
@@detroitcustom I'm still gonna wait another year or two. I don't have a garage, so it's difficult to do any coatings. I like using polymer sealants instead for that reason.
Hi Brian, I used the IGL Renew worked great outstanding gloss and slickness. Just have to make sure you put it on really thin if not it’s a bear to get off. Keep up the great work your videos are full of great information Thanks 😊. Do you have any information about Tac systems?

@@mattz000 I hope not too...the sps art de shine would hold up for several washes....but why would u with that now piece of art......but as a a reg way of cleaning a vehicle u are right - no coating would survive that type of wash on a reg basis - hope u are and stay safe and well
With a high quality coating like that, a regular touchless auto car wash will do a very decent job maintaining that vehicle along with bringing it back to Brian a couple times a year for a refresh. 👍👌 I see good results with clients who do that here, versus those who wash it themselves even after wash training, the less they touch it, the better usually.. but in the end all we can do is tell them to stick to touchless auto washes, send them home with some training, some quality waterless wash and towels and just hope for the best. 😁

I now started to understand regularly used words and the only thing I am unable to answer myself is : 1. will I require to do a polish (is it compulsory) before I do a graphene or a ceramic coating? 2. Hi Brian, thank you for the demo of that coating. I do respect how you clean the shop before applying, and how you try to maintain an almost dust free environment. I wish the shop that allied my coating did the same thing. One question, what cloths are you using in this video? They don’t look like traditional microfiber cloths, they look more refined, as though they may be better than typical yellow and blue cloths offered at most retail outlets. Appreciate it. PT

Hey, I tried to make my own detailing product and it worked, can you maybe do a video about that too? I used fresh Carnauba Wax, snake oil, Water, Orange, cherry powder and silica dioxide. It has the same "functions" as the Turtle Wax Hybrid Ceramic Spray, but smells better and is easier to apply. I applied it 3 Months ago and it still looks amazing
When you say orange, do you mean orange food dye or an entire orange?? Also, what type of snake's oil do I need again? My salesman comes around on Wednesdays
I want this product but I need more info and I don’t want to redo my daily’s that I just coated. I was used to flash times until I started using Gtechniq CSL + exo. It’s a 3-5 yr coating and doesn’t flash. Started using this when TAC left the states.

definitely interested in the window coating. if graphene disperses heat, would it keep the inside a vehicle cooler during summer? I am no fan of window tinting if it is not molded in to the glass from manufacture. When it comes to painted surfaces, I still love going thru the process of installing a sealant. Love your videos. As part of a yearly maintainence wash on a ceramic coated vehicle, are you meant to clay the vehicle or only decontaminate chemically? I know that claying will remove contaminants that a chemical decon will not, but wont the clay somewhat reduce the lifespan of the coating or slightly abrade it. Keep up the awesome videos.

I'm really interested in graphene coatings, they seem easier to apply than SiO2 and last longer, but I realize this is not really proven yet...
Wonder if Artdrshine knows that Google filed US patent in 2019 for several versions of manufacture and application for it. Anyway, I'm making my own. That brings me to question, I'm curious as a backyard chemist, which of the three manufacturing process did this company use to produce this product? Why I ask is because of the difficulty in having Graphene properly bond with the carrier. Graphene is not a liquid and each particle is one atom thick and 2 to 3 nm long. It is basically a two dimensional object. Getting it to combine and saturate a carrier is a highly specialized process. So I hope they didn't just pour it into a jug and shake it lol. Second I'm concerned about the amount of Graphene used. There is a minimum amount for it to be effective with it's Polymer partner. Just as a note, I think it's funny that the are using concrete sealant and ... It only take usually 2 hours for cure. That might be extended on a less pourous substrate. But 24 to 48 hours they are pulling someone's leg. As far as rating the product that is the carrier has a 5 to 7 year Hydrophobic rating on cement. You should do about the same on maintaned car. King of the hill? Ok. Thank you Brian for your work in showcasing products. I have found your judgement is usually astute, and dependable.
After waiting 4-6 hours before applying the top coat, or second coat, do you do anything to ensure dust or other fallout isn't on the vehicle? Or is the minimal amount of dust inconsequential to the topper?
Brian thanks for these vids on the graphene coatings. I’m due to re-polish my car currently with kamikaze zipang, having only really used the very user friendly kamikaze coatings, is the bx something I’ll be able to jump straight into?

Throw some graph paper in the mix for extra long lasting protection.👍

Ahmad Abboud I will not Nky clay where I can feel the bonded contaminates in that case. With mild clay.

It is basically a two dimensional object. Getting it to combine and saturate a carrier is a highly specialized process. So I hope they didn't just pour it into a jug and shake it lol.
Second I'm concerned about the amount of Graphene used. There is a minimum amount for it to be effective with it's Polymer partner.
Just as a note, I think it's funny that the are using concrete sealant and ... It only take usually 2 hours for cure. That might be extended on a less pourous substrate. But 24 to 48 hours they are pulling someone's leg.
As far as rating the product that is the carrier has a 5 to 7 year Hydrophobic rating on cement. You should do about the same on maintaned car.

After waiting 4-6 hours before applying the top coat, or second coat, do you do anything to ensure dust or other fallout isn't on the vehicle? Or is the minimal amount of dust inconsequential to the topper?
Rick Nelson in a shop setting ... you can control that. For those that will try this out doors... sketchy. Change applicators frequently
Brian thanks for these vids on the graphene coatings. I’m due to re-polish my car currently with kamikaze zipang, having only really used the very user friendly kamikaze coatings, is the bx something I’ll be able to jump straight into?
