      total and utter bs, never ever seen his own car after 6 months of not washing it and seeing if a product lasts as they said it did on the packet, or even doing a 50/50 car which is driven daily and then not washed and have 1/2 the car with one branded product and the other 1/52 with something else, but both claim to last over or upto 6 months? Only one person has done this and he is a australian car detailing guru, named Sandro and his channel is car craft auto detailing, look him up, he did a mazda 6 gun metal grey colored car 1/2 and 1/2 and then shown how easy it was to wash and how much protection was on 1/2 the car and what was on the other 1/52 which was nothing to show you that the sealant used does work to protect the painted surfaces etc. :) Which i believe it was Cquartz ceramic coating and car pro''s hydrolite for the wheels?
      Also tests various new products which come out and compares them doing real world testing with real degreasers and iron removers, so i guess if you really want to show of your talent as a car detailer and then use the same product you believe in the only way to do it is via u tube, which you cant hide when your doing customers cars, as one mistake and your going to lose clients its that simple champ?

    Great video Brian, I appreciate your thoroughness, research and attention to detail you put into your product testing and evaluations. Graphine is impressive, my analogy is is to flat screen TVs when they first cane out, impressive and exoensive, the price will come down on Graphine, in the mean time, you have so many great reccomendations I have a fews of enjoyment checking out those products. Heck Tac Systems alone would take me a few years to play around with. Thank you again Brian.

    WOW Brian that vette' is looking GORGEOUS! I really appreciate all the product reviews on the graphene stuff as there isn't really that much info out there, but man it sure does seem to be legit both in looks and protection provided based on the initial results.

    I just used this on my car diluted 10:1 as per the instructions. Imo this isn’t a quick detailer. It is harder to apply as it is thicker than normal detailers. However even just applying this you can tell it will last. I will use this as more as a protective topper ontop of my ArtDeshine graphene coating. I’ll keep using Adam’s Graphene Quick Detailer as my go to after every wash and just apply this every 3 months or so

  • @stevegreer1963
    @stevegreer1963 4 ปีที่แล้ว

    I just applied ArtDeShine Detailer cut 7:1 to my C7 after a 9 day cure of BX. It only takes 2-3 light sprays per panel. The gloss and slickness is amazing! It’s a bit expensive, but a 8 oz bottle will make two 32 oz spray bottles cut about 7:1. Given the small amount of product needed, the price is actually not that bad. Great product Brian!

    • @rockystallone3925
      @rockystallone3925 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Can you please help me understand the 7:1? Ounces?

    • @stevegreer1963
      @stevegreer1963 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@rockystallone3925 Sure. At a 7:1 ratio, you fill your container with one part product and seven parts water. In other words. If you start with one ounce of product and add seven ounces of water, you will have 8 ounces of solution. So let’s say you start with 4 ounces of product, to keep a 7:1 ratio, you would add 28 ounces of water, yielding you a 32 ounce bottle of solution (4+28=32). You can play around with the ratio though. I find it is a little easier to work with at a 10:1 ratio for an easier wipe off. Hope this helps
      Rocky.

    Thank you for the video.
    Its certainly a high-quality product that performs very well and is easy to use.
    Your black car’s clearcoat already looked great long before using this product, due to how its been extensively machined long ago by yourself. The “skin” itself has been made to look very impressive.
    Hence, any premium spray-type product used on such a clearcoat of any black or dark colours would heighten the pop of such a well-corrected clearcoat.
    I’d love to see how it performs on a brand new unsanded paintwork that has undergone a mere 2 step DA machine work.

    For those in the UK, Bouncer's Done and Dusted Si Edition is a fantastic product, slickness and gloss are of a different level altogether. Great topper for Fusso Coat. As for this quick detailer, it seems that the lines between spray sealant/detailer/Waterless wash have just got a bit more blurred! Once diluted 1:9 you get 2.25 Liters for about $65 (250ml bottle) equals about $0.86/oz. Just under $14 for 16oz for that level of protection it's a good value to me. Assuming my conversion rates are accurate from CAD to USD.

    • @TheNotoriousGamer
      @TheNotoriousGamer 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thats expensive. Compare this to Wolfgang Uber Rinseless that can be diluted to 3oz per gallon. A $20 bottle would give you 5 gallons of the best detail spray money can buy.

    • @gunwieldinghobo9733
      @gunwieldinghobo9733 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      That's not even in the same ballpark. Look up quick detailers by Chemical Guys, Angelwax, IGL, Mannett's, Shine Armor, etc. They tend to be over $14 for 16oz of a quality quick detailer. 500ml is 16.9oz. Turtlewax Seal N Shine is cheaper at $9 for 16oz which is a great value. As effective as this is for under $14 is really impressive.

    Bryan, I have enough Crystal Serum Light to do my C7 but I do not have enough EXOv4 to top the CSL. I am thinking about using up my CSL as the base layer and buying Artdeshine’s Maintenance Coating and Detailer as my toppers. Is this something that you would suggest, or would I be better off buying more EXOv4 since it’s in the same family as CSL? The BX is pretty pricey, especially since I have about 15 ml left of CSL and I’d like to use it up. I would appreciate your input. Thank you my friend!

    Not sure what this product is trying to accomplish. If you are going to spray and buff the whole car then you might as well use a spray sealant like bead maker which will have more gloss, slickness and protection.
    For actual detailing, Wolfgang Uber Rinseless is dirt cheap and the easiest product to apply. Results are stunning.

    Hey Brian, you mentioned exhaust tips here. I tried cleaning mine on my '12 VW GTI with stock catback - I believe the tips are just chrome.
    Kinda scuffed it up a bit with an aggressive pad. Is my only choice now to start with a fine grit sandpaper and work my way to trizack discs then to metal polish? or does chrome not restore like that? Tried a sample spot and didn't see huge improvement; but also didn't want to sand too far and make it worse. Any advice is appreciated - long time sub and love the videos!

    Okay, I’m befuddled. You said the vette was dusty. Is it really safe to apply a detailer on a dusty car, especially in a circular motion? Is there enough slippery stuff there so it won’t scratch? Doesn’t the towel get dirty? I have a black car that I’d love to dust off with a detailer. Been using Wolfgang rinse lees wash diluted in a spray bottle then a quick detailer.

      @C-Bomb Just like Bob, I'm wondering about scratching. I just bought brand new car with Black Pearl paint and somehow I got scuff marks on top of bumper and car isn't even a few weeks old. I think they are either in the wax or were there and covered up by dealership as one couldn't see the pearl in the paint or the scuffs before I washed and waxed first time. Suddenly pearl (which is beautiful) and scuffs on TOP of bumper (which are ugliful) showed up.
      Still trying to figure out what they are BUT in interim, would a "detail spray" then, am I deducing correctly, be used as a sort of "mini wash between washes" to keep the car looking nice?
      If this stuff does that I don't mind paying the price. In Chicago cars get ugly 5 minutes out of the garage.
      I look forward to your response and thank you in advance 😊

    Another great video Brian. Thank you!
    I wanted to ask you a question though. I have a new car coming when this lockdown is done.
    I had thought about using Gyeon Can Coat with a top coat of Tac Shinee Wax, as I dont have a garage.
    But if you had to pick a protection system for a brand new black car, what would you choose other than a ceramic?

    What’s the diff between detailer and spray wax?

    • @razetw
      @razetw 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Spray wax is a product designed to be applied on a CLEAN surface to add protection and good looks.
      A quick detailer is designed to be sprayed on a clean to LIGHTLY DIRTY surface to clean it. It may also add good looks and protection. We're taking very very light dust. Maybe finger prints or smudges with sweat.
      Tar, tree sap, bird droppings is too much for a QD you'll scrub so hard you'll scratch your car. There's products for that level of a dirty surface a QD isn't designed for.
      Some use a quick detailer as a clay lube. (don't use the $90 QD duh).
      You don't clay lube with a spray wax.
      Some rinseless wash products can be diluted to create a quick detailer with simply extra water. Optimum no rinse, ultima waterless wash etc.
      You can't take optimum no rinse and create a spray wax out of it by adding water.
      The lines are being blurred with new sio2 and graphene added to products. That's why we got Brian to walk us through it. :)

      Yes definitely. Works very well for maintaining existing coatings. You can even use it on glass, rubbers, plastics, lamps, wheels.
