Great as always. Brian from Apex Detail has started his own coating made by them. Designed for your area. Love the four hour cure time. I also raise the hood to get the top of the headlights as well.👍
Artdeshine was best move we made at our shop. I dont do many TH-cam but our IG has all the artdeshine installs on there.. product can be pricey, but can definitely see and tell the difference in my opinion vs some of the other coatings we've used. Not trying to sway anyone, just giving my opinion on their products 🤙🏽
wowww !!! It is really amazing. I am glad to see a honest youtuber with transparent videos. I am using the Artdeshine products products and I love them.
Thanks for this educational Video. I have to say, it’s a bit different than the one Brian did a year or so ago as I recall, he described as “grabby” and he had to use leveling to get rid of the high spots. You seem to have a better experience with it. I am encouraged for sure after watching your video. Thanks again.
If you ever want to get into gelcoat or marine paints, let me know. Excellent video for the subject. I lack your patience with the viewers. Also, no hoodies when applying a coating: the draw strings and baggy nature of it can either drag across a surface you don't want grazed and the drawstrings can be caught in a buffer and can drag across a surface. Tighter clothing should be worn to reduce any possible contamination of deterioration of a surface due to a slight pass by some fabric under no control. Just opinions.
Apex detail Brian is involved with this product. I think it was his idea to have the chemist from the company make it. I would love to see the results and process. I will watch the video and see how you apply it.Thanks
Nice work. Look forward to durability on many of your LSP’s. With so many available it makes it tough to decide. I’m sticking with HS max & Flex this year since I have it already. We’ll see for next year. I like giving our vehicles frequent attention to details. Lol
Might be time to start looking into shutter exhaust fans for the garage, they also help with humidity; with time those fumes can at least deteriorate sense of smell
All the (real) Ceramic coatings are technically metal oxides (Ti02) The difference in any is added chemicals and percentage of solution to particle levels. I'd suggest lots of bright direct lighting additions to your garage if you can. Try to simulate daylight inside, from multiple angles. You can see everything so you can perfect everything. Just my options.
Actually, your typical ceramic coating is silicon dioxide, not metal oxides. Ti02 is sometimes added to them as an optical brightener and it adds a little to the hardness. PDMS (silicone fluid) makes up the majority of an Si02 ceramic coating, along with solvents and any additives that the manufacturer chooses.
@@attention2detailswchelsea I wanted to get trained with him but covid-19 hit. Waiting to get my vacations during summer and how traveling pans out so I can schedule accordingly since got the vaccine this week.🙏 Even the gray color on it looks fantastic. Apex Surface Protection (ASP) Metal Oxide Coating is a collaboration between Artdeshine and ASP. Slightly different formulation for Apex's requirements.
@@artdeshine3997 I'm glad @artdeshine replied. I'm certainly interested in your products. I've spoken to brian about it and am definitely interested in the formulation and the calaboration of your two great products. 👍
I personally haven't used Kenzo so I can't give you a true comparison but I know many that absolutely love Kenzo 4 it's easy application as well as its durability so I don't think you can make a wrong decision between the two
Chelsea i watch a local Australian detailer, YT channel is Car Carft Auto Detailing Work's with a lot of coating and is very relatable and the information is top notch. Have a look if you want, No stress but i hope this comment is ok. 🇦🇺
I am a certified installer but I saw this available on a CA web site That it appeared anyone could purchase but here in US to buy it would have to go through art de shines website and I believe this is pro product only.
@@attention2detailswchelseaI did not know that about the ca site. I always looked at the official site and it wasn't available at the consumer level. With Apex that looks to be changing. That vehicle looked amazing btw. Great work as always. I'm using your indirect lighting trick on my details, it's a small thing but helps alot. I always pick up something from your vids. Thanks for the effort you put into these.
I get your average daily driver and am starting to get nicer vehicles as I raise my prices, put out solid work and get word of mouth referrals. I dont really know their wealth but try to focus on average daily drivers.
@@attention2detailswchelsea for sure that makes sense. I’ve had some wealthy people in nice neighborhoods so I was curious. Your interior work is fantastic. how long does it take to do the interior of that blue suv/crossover you just did?

No. Similar but Brian had his specd to his liking

What about water spots?
Love the artdeshine line up. Great job
Love your channel as a beginner detailer I’ve learned a ton from you. Keep up the great work!
Love your info...you are a detailing BEAST girl. We dont really have pros like you around here. They use armour all.

Chelsea,
Which ceramic coating do you like better ? Arte DeShine CMO Coating ? Avalon Shield lX or Undrdog Sauce Pro ? Thank you.
Thank you Chelsea, fantastic presentation and review.
Stay safe and stay healthy.

WOW! The car came out great. How long is the wait time before the first maintenance wash using CMO?
7 days
Great info. Excellent vid. Thanks for posting.
Great video. Thank you u are awesome. Nice set up on new garage
Nicely done Chelsea 👍😁❤️
Great video? Would this be a better option than Graphene to help prevent water spots? Both types of coatings seem to market that capability.
Id have to test that to see. Will look for that on my test panel and see.
@@attention2detailswchelsea any updates?

For darker vehicles that works but i prefer indirect lighting and less lighting for coatings.

Amazing👏👏👏
What would you say gloss bumped up to? 1-10 ?
Hard to say on that color but at least 4-5 points. Ayicon is their glossiest coating with NGP coming in 2nd in gloss. But this was still impressive.
