Congrats on the video guys! You deserve it to go Viral with all that work. We are currently in the US for winter and looking at coming back to Europe and possibly motorhoming this time. Would you mind sharing your average weekly costs while motorhome travelling? We estimated about $1400 AUD all in with a mix of free and paid campsites. Are we far off the mark?
Thanks so much guys, we appreciate it ☺️ it really depends where in Europe you are and exactly what you are doing and also how much driving you are actually doing each month. I would say 1400 AUD would be fine as long as you aren’t planning to eat out a lot or pay for too many tourist attractions as these things add up. I would prob say plan to spend more so that you don’t go over budget and anything you save is a bonus!

tres belle réalisation et très bon gouts! toutefois je m interroge sur un point! les panneaux solaire a même le toit, n y a t il pas un risque de chauffe sur le toit , provoquant le rayonnement de chaleur a l intérieur même avec une bonne isolation?
Thank you 🙏 Andorra is not in the EU so this time we are hoping to get the van long term registered inside the EU. Andorra has also changed a lot of its conditions since we last registered a car there so for us this time round this seems like a better option ☺️
@@LockieandAsh thank you for your response! So you can’t do long-term in Andorra? I’m a US/EU citizen and was deciding between Ireland and Andorra for my van’s registration
The black one is a ‘sikaflex’ brand made for campers. The white one came with the solar panels from renogy. Not sure on the difference, I just thought the sikaflex would be better quality so I used that on the outter sides and used the renogy one in the middle.. no problems yet they both seem to be very good!
That's an amazing video nd great transformation woow 👏👏❤
Thank you! 🙏🏼
Thanks!

@@LockieandAsh Cheers! We are pretty frugal :P Good to know our estimates weren't far off.
We just watched you time-lapse of your van build, it looks amazing! Well done you two😊
Thank you so much 🥰
Loved watching it, it's when you see that you realise it's a lot of work and knowledge
So glad to hear you enjoyed it! It is a lot of work but very worth it in the end 😊
@@LockieandAsh looking at getting a lwb hightop crafter , we shall see , might just pay someone

Thank you ☺️ the solar panels are fine installed this way as that is how these flexible type are intended to be attached
Sorry I'm late to your amazing party but can you give an average time of this type of conversion?
This conversion took us just over 9 weeks to complete. We worked full time on it
Great van build!! It turned out beautiful. Question, how come you’re not choosing to register it in Andorra again?

Great video. Quick question - when you fitted the solar panels what's the difference between the white and black mastic?
