Hi! I've got a few tips for you! So, let me preface this by saying I've lived in my van for over 3 years by now (in the US, so things might be different.) These are some tips I wish I'd known early. First, in some places, its illegal to camp in your van. Some cities have strict rules about it, sometimes its counties, and I personally stay far away from Tennessee because they have some weird rules for living in your car. Please make sure you know where you cannot stay so you don't end up in trouble! If you're single, like I am, you can use decoys. I've got a few things, male shoes I leave in the van, a few hats, little things to make it look like two people live in it instead of just a single female. Three, this one is IMPORTANT, always sleep with your keys and a safety item within reach. Will you always need them? No, of course not. But, you might one day, and there's nothing worse than needing to move during an emergency situation and having no idea where your keys are, or worse, not being able to get to them without digging through some stuff. Finally, always watch weather patterns! I don't know how many times I've gotten caught in bad weather because I was careless. Weather can be unpredictable, but keeping an eye on things means you're less likely to get stuck. And if you do get stuck, know your surroundings, and your rig! There's probably dozens of little things I could add, but these are the first ones to come to mind. Be prepared and be prepared to be spontaneous. You'll learn a lot about yourself and what you can handle. Good luck!

We have a European bank account so we had no issues but when we bought our first van in Europe we did not so you just transfer the money and it takes a few days to go through. Same process regardless of your banks origin might just take longer

We drove our 7m van there, it’s fine, some hairpins towards the end were tighter but it’s doable especially better when it’s not busy season so there’s not too many cars to pass

German export plates last for a maximum of 1 year. For the export plates you can have an address from anywhere in the world

The last part of the hike was probably the hardest, it’s a gradual incline on the mountain side on loose rocks so just take your time! Enjoy the hike, it was epic 🙌

We found it on park4night. It was a campervan stop that was connected to ford mechanic shop not too far from the centre
