Dude you're my hero. You are the most helpful, generous and brilliant of all the builders and TH-camrs I've encountered. Your craftsmanship reflects your inner integrity. I have experience with construction, and finish woodworking...a little solar system installation, etc. This bit of awareness allows me to fully understand your process due to the clarity of your videos. As to that, your video presentations are succinct and perfectly filmed and edited. When video tech disappears, you know you're on track for maximum audience engagement. You are a human being of rare quality. Thank you. God speed. Love as you continue moving forward.
My goodness. You're a real craftsman! I am researching vanlife and am happy I came across your video! I can clearly see I'm not skilled enough to do this on my own...
Wow! The amount of detailed work u can do is amazing. Ur a plumber, carpenter, electrician & designer & all to a high level! Well done, the van is gorgeous 👏
Your level of details is amazing ! I’ve watched a hundred other videos and everyone skip steps trying to make it fast. The way you made everything really looks like it will definitely last a lifetime. Great job 👏🏻 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
You are probably tired of great comments, well deserved. This is excellent and can’t figure haw all of it was planned in advance to help make right sequence. Also, I played the time lapse at the slowest to see how you did things and follow along. I muted because the voice is something else at slow. Keep it up and I am optimistic now.
I also always arrange with maintenance in mind and I like to dismantle things to refine and/or improve... From the thousands of videos that I have had the opportunity to watch, I can confirm that you are the best installer... Well done! Good luck from the south of France
WOW!!! What an absolutely outstanding build. Your attention to detail and forethought is incredible. I would absolutely go to you for my build (when I win the lottery or come into $$). I really like the pocket hole in the framing along with the metal tracking. Your diverse knowledge of woodworking, plumbing, wiring and solar is INCREDIBLE! Be proud of what your build!!!
Moser, you're attention to detail is commended. You're not a DIY'r, you're a professional, quality crafstman, no doubt. Nice work buddy! Still dreaming of my build.
1) great detailed work AND explanations! Keep it up! 2) on the rear corner posts, section your wood & openings so you need to remove only the 10”-16” section at the taillight for bulb replacements. Single tall solid piece looks great, but with dark attachment hardware, most ppl would like that servicing attention to detail. 3) brilliant to accommodate ease of installation & removal of cabinetry via the aluminum tracks. 4) good consistent use of wire loom tubing to protect against elec shorts!
the great work you did, I'm naturally sensitive to details, but looking at the video you made of the construction, it really impresses me, I envy the positive sense of the camper you built. CONGRATULATIONS
You did a great job! My type of styling too. I like the pullout bed above the electrical cabinet. Putting the control panel over the sliding door ceiling is a perfect use of space and keeping things clean. I definitely would always want a separate shower in a van that isn’t too tight. Placing it in the back of the van is best place for that. Couple questions: 1. What kind of tiles did you use for the backsplash? 2. Did you vent the toilet in the roof or the side of the van 3. How long did it take you to build out the van?
I was just thinking about this concept. I just think putting the bathroom in the back is better. And that expandable sofa bed is always a go to in a camp van. Nice build overall. ❤
I am from India I have I have seen many van modification but I have never seen such a great thing your van is so gorgeous but you bathroom is most beautiful part of van just love it 😎😎😎
I'm purchasing all your schematics just because you saved me so much time. I've wired and built several tiny campers, but the altentor was throwing me for a loop. Thanks!
As someone who does not even know how to use a drill, I found this build absolutely brilliant and satisfying to watch and listen. Thank you for sharing with us!
Good planning and execution of your build. Very clever and clean looking. It's hard to believe that you did all that with a 136" inch. Good use of space.
@@susans8539 This was my first full promaster build actually. I've worked on a little bit of everything but before this had only done in depth builds on transits and sprinters.
Wow! Thank you! My husband and I bought a van and are gonna tackle a rebuild come spring. Your video is the best most straightforward and informative one of seen so far!! Makes me feel more confident. Thank you
Great video. A nice way to make the plywood stable is to route a channel into the middle of the sides where they meet. Then you sandwhich an aluminum bar between the two pieces when they meet. Then you can also screw into the plywood through the aluminum bar and into the plywood after the bar from the top. I'm not sure that makes sense but it made my flooring rock solid. It really wasn't hard to do either. I also made sure that my insulation below the plywood had. seams in completely different places.
I’ve seen hundreds of van builds but if I ever decide to have one built, you’d be the builder I choose. This is such a well thought out build, built to last and not just for looks. But even still, it looks incredible and is so well laid out. Impressive!
a behind the scene/hindsight will add layers to your thought process of what can be or how it came to be. For someone who has been living rent to rent this is looking to be the way for future homes.
Great job brotha! You have shared so much great info over the years. I have learned a whole bunch from you! I build vans full time and I know how much research and time it takes to build things. Something like this took a whole lot of planning and research. Great to see someone with enthusiasm and attention to detail. Keep on beautifying your surroundings!
Well done, such a great build. Ive watched more than enough van builds n yours is quite well polished and very unique and luxurious. Much love from Australia, subbed.
This is the first SS countertop I've seen built in a van. You were very creative with this build. I wonder if it is your first. All that in just 136 inches.
That's an excellent build. I particularly appreciate the detail that went into sealing the roof holes; most pro builders, like mine, just throw gobs of goo around the perimeter and call it a day. It may be water proof but it looks like krap. I also like the stainless steel counter top. I wanted stainless in my van but my builder is a woodworker, not a metal crafter, so I got push back and Richlite counters. They look great but ... Keeping an eye on your channel; always looking for ideas and someone to help me maintain & improve my van (Sprinter, 3500, 170, ext, XD, 4x4).
Excellent work👍. This is almost the same layout that I have already thought of as the most practical design for a campervan of this size😊. Unfortunately, all campervans of this size that can be bought have a double bed across the rear, which I find very impractical🤔.
Brilliant designing! I will never get used to having a cabinet blocking half the sliding door opening. I know the swivel seats are cool for lounging, but I would prefer to have a separating wall with a door, for the cockpit. I would freak at night if flashlights were shown through the windshield, or lookie loos. Can't stealth camp if you have to put up a curtain in the cockpit. Otherwise this is a fantastic build. 😊
Am I blind or is there no refrigerator in this build? The internal air conditioner is a revelation, and I appreciate the conciseness of the time lapse/voiceover style.
No worries! Didn’t really highlight the fridge in the video but the location is kind of cool because the fridge door can pivot open about 180 degrees which means you can also grab stuff out of it while standing outside the van.
He is literally the first builder I've seen who provided an air conditioner option that doesn't involve cutting a hole in the roof.
Hands down you’re the most open source van builder ive come across in five years. Not to mention some of your methods are pure genius
Thank you!!
Agreed- this video is pure gold!
@@MoserMakes How much would something like this sell for? Is this like $100000?
@@MoserMakes Hi, how much was the total investment to build your van? Thanks.

My mouth literally dropped seeing that custom shower tray that you built. That is seriously impressive, as is the entire build. Very nice job!!!!

Impressive attention to detail. What would parts and labor cost?
Ed Sheeran can build too!

We need more private builders like this. Hopefully the price point is not ridiculous like those big brands.
Your work is incredible.

I love your construction methods & choices of items like the locking cabinet knobs & SS countertop.
