    hey Chris, I appreciate your wealth of knowledge so many jackets to cover - is it possible to have time tags? it would help having markers to go back & forth as you talk about specific models

    It would be great if you could provide an update on the Sawyer as it was the results I was most looking forward to. Very informative.

    Was a backpacking and mountaineering gear tester for decades.
    Think sometimes people use products outside of its intended purpose and when the product doesn't deliver the results they seek they blame the product when it was actually user error.
    My Alpha SV is great in precip but would be horrible in a mid summer deluge.

      I can see your point, the Alpha SV is a great jacket, but was built with a specific purpose in mind. I use a beta LT in a size down as my summer rain jacket. I sized down because I wear it with just a tee shirt during the summer, a don't need it to be larger to fit over insulation layers.

    Very informative! How often would you wash your gear if you wore it everyday for work/school?

    • @meandmyjackets
      @meandmyjackets  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Just wash things as needed. No harm in washing, Just use the right detergent, and get a DWR spray to keep your pieces like new. See my video on washing your gear, it shows how to wash, and always follow the directions for each of your jackets.

    Is the outside the same on all Atom models? Is the outside of Squamish the same as Atom?

    • @meandmyjackets
      @meandmyjackets  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      The Atom SL and LT are the same, The Atom AR is a Heavier material. The squamish is more like a nylon . very lightweight.

    what do you think about arc’teryx squamish ?

    • @meandmyjackets
      @meandmyjackets  ปีที่แล้ว

      It's a simple jacket, just a super light nylon shell. Great for blocking the wind. I do have a video on that jacket here on my channel.

    In addition to obviously fixing the occasional focus issues, please try to cut out the constant use of “okay’s,” “alright’s” and “um’s.” They make it very difficult to watch.

      Wow. He is providing a lot of information covering everything Arc’teryx. He’s even standing in the pouring rain. You need to chill. Not like you’re having to pay for all of this free content.
