If I install new injectors do I also have to get the cups? I work in the oil fields and my truck does not go over 45mph on the highest gear I switched the air filters and fuel filters it helped it but did not fix the issue.
without seeing it in person it is hard to say. The ring is a bandaid to the issue by pushing the cup in tighter to stop the leak. Sometimes they do end up needing a head.
There’s a kit that converts the press in cups to screw in cups. I’m a bit wary of it though as you’ll destroy the core value of the head because you need to tap the cast iron to do it and the kit costs 2k. It would be nice though for a fleet operation.

You do not have to do cups if you do injectors
What if the coolant is leaking at the bottom of the injector cab? The ring can't fix it the leak?

Would this work on the 2007 model 2 ISX also
I believe the 2007 is a dual cam setup so it will not work because that has a different injector
