How To Replace Cabin Air Filter On Dodge
Cleaned the mass sensor and engine light turned off but the notification is still one there after driving it. What can be the problem? Battery was unplugged as well.
Alhamdulallh! My Lp5 is working again after trying this!
We're you able to pull the cam off the top of the head? Or did it come out of the front cover
Yes. These ones come right out the top
I cleaned mine today, but code on the dash hasn’t gone away, drove it for more than 30 mins with a trailer and it still shows “service emission system “with the engine light. Any advice what to do?
If it doesn’t fix it you likely have something else going on. You’ll need to get some codes checked and see . Likely it’s a nox sensor or something like that needing replaced and then a forced regen
Will this trick reset my speed limiter? Down to 65 atm, just cleaned off the malt sensor, gonna evaluate with a 10 mile drive. Already the truck sounds better
Once in a while it does.
What's your opinion on the PAI industries HP(high performance) ceramic coated piston rebuild kits ?
PAI makes a quality product. We have had good luck with them!
@yourdieselspecialists which kit was put in the john deere green n14 you guys built ?
#6 cummins?
#1. 5.9 Cummins
Did broski just ask me to put the likes in the bag??
I have a transmission you can work on
Wow you saved the day...My 2020 High Country gave me this error three days ago and we have a big snowmobile trip coming up. I was sweating on what the dealership would charge me to service this..followed this video cleaned mine and its all good now. THANKS!!!!
Glad to help!
How many miles did you have to drive till it was resolved after this fix?
@@ajanttonacity7028 Mine was clear of the alert after about 15 minutes
@@yourdieselspecialists Well the fix worked until today, it is doing this again already (6 days) so Ill pull that sensor and see if somehow its clogged up again. If not I must have bigger issues.
So I just replaced this gasket but I have a no start still, bleed the system from The fuel cooler and it ran for 3-4 minutes then died, hasn’t started since, bleed more air and still no start, there’s no more bubbles but is it possible there’s air in there still?
Reason I changed the gasket was for blown fuse and no start, it had a short. No more shorts just alot of air
Cummins 6bt 5.9 liter
Nice job on the aerator I got to do one on my truck
Would love to hear it run
It's all good. That's suspension travel lol
Sir, your feeler gauge on the right side is not in the correct slot. I hope the engine is ok. You actually forced it in the wrong direction. The arrow points where the gauge should go. Take a closer look at the video. Oops
Yup gotta drain the water and separate it from the oil every now and then perfectly normal haha 😅
My 7.3 needs 10 plus minutes on a cold day
Yeah I’ve always let my duramax/cummins warm up with no problems ever
He never ran a mile. Ill take the guy who builds them advice over the guy who just drives them. He has never seen the inside of his engine!
He builds engines every day. Not a truck driver .👊🏼
Ah yes, the sounds of commerce being made. Respect your truckers people, they keep the freight moving.
Big trucks just sound so much cooler! 🤘🏼
Aguanta un poquito mas😂😅
Never greased those kingpins i guess
Guess not! Crazy thing is the driver had no idea. We only found it during a safety inspection
@yourdieselspecialists that's not a truck driver then lol
😂
Somebody did not adjust valves correctly No enough valve clearance
These actually just are prone to cam problems and somehow this driver never notice it running worse and worse until then.
Seems normal. Makes your oil sparkly!!!! 🤘🏼
Ahh yes. The sparkle oil upgrade. It’s a beautiful thing
@ it’s magical!!!
That’s what she said
Noda
My valve cam wore on same lobe
😂🤘🏼
👍👍👍.. got 3 of those around here.. they're alright,...a little high maintenance..but , they'll probably never die from a lower end problem but anyway, thanks feller(s)👊
Love your videos I’ve learn a lot and will u advice to shim a oil pump ? My Isx15 idles at 15 psi and running around 30 or 35 my friend trucks is about 5 psi higher and my engine is less then 100k since rebuild
Yes we will do a video on that. Thanks for watching ! That’s the actually range Cummins says is good. Prob need to check your guage with a manual gauge to make sure it’s not just off a little bit. 15-20 at idle and 35-40 running down the road is correct. You can also change the bypass in filter head just for good measure it may help also. 30 seems a little low. But I wonder if your guage is correct
@@yourdieselspecialists I did the bypass by the filter and mechanical gauge is about the same I do have def and dpf only drops to 30 when the oil get really really hot around 245 I hear u can change the oil thermostat to lower oil temp to avoid the oil to get that hot
Big trucks are different because of air brakes. Gotta build some air
90. Day. Pay. F. Them. 😊
I cannot get the bottom part of that tube off! Any tips?
You don’t need the whole tube off. Just force air into one side to see if it is clear
My oil ran around 210 before the coolers and stat were changed. I think I now know why I cannot cool it below 225 now. It used oil faster if I let the oil run over 220 for long. And my water temp barely moves now, too.
Love your vids man keep em coming
Thanks for watching!
Is the ISX15 and X15 the same valve adjustments, are you using a 7mm j brake tool?
👍👍 perhaps those things aren't as bad as most claim??🤣.. glad someone likes them,.. maybe they last longer once the liner height is corrected... thanks for the video 👍👍👊
They can be problematic. But I think when maintained properly they are great
Thanks for liner insight... wonder why they designed them in that fashion? Wouldn't a removable "o-ring" and fire ring seal be better...idk..but anyway 👍👊
👍 seeing this now ..was it common for an N14 to chuck a rod?.. or perhaps what caused(s) it..?.. suppose same reason as any engine..but anyway 👍👍👊
Not way common. Lack of oil pressure and spun rod bearing then kept driving
👍👍.. i don't remember the loctite on any of the gear hubs, for the DOHC engine...i remember the scissor( concept) gears...the retaining compound on the valve gear seems crude,🤔..after incorporating the concept gears and all that.. I'm glad someone likes those things, I don't think I'd like to own one..or work on one ,but who cares what I think... thanks for another video folk's, keep up the great work 👍👍👊...
Hmm who we trust, this sensible sounding truck driving man or the guy who literally pulls apart and measures engine components to 0.001" day in day out
That’s what we do. Day in day out
Motor might be walm but the box, diff, bearing and bushes are still cold
I can't understand why Dave would say that maybe he works for the EPA
As much as he shits all over the EPA and big government, highly doubt it. This is also a driver’s word vs a mechanics word. I’m taking the word of the person disassembling them every single time over the word of a guy who drives trucks for a living…
@special-j7525 I'm a truck driver also for the past 37 years retirement in 2 weeks thank God
@@gtaylor1564 right on, congrats on your near retirement! I should clarify, I’m not saying the truck driver doesn’t know or doesn’t work in vehicles. I’m just saying, Dave disassembles and rebuilds engines every day, often times improving their design. If he says don’t do something, I’m more inclined to take his wired over someone who simply drives a truck. That’s all, no speaking ill of drivers by any means.
Thanks
👍👍I think those things end up that way sooner rather than later don't they??
Not if you do good maintenance. They all break. I’d own one of these for sure though. They are good motors.
Your full of crap come to Canada
