    Once in high school I was climbing up a rope in an outside gym. When I was up I wanted to slide down because I thought it would look cool. End result was that my hands got fucked up

    Thank you, helped me so much! My poor shins 😫 Can’t seem to get the clamping whilst coming down right so I’m gliding along my shins.

    I was always afraid that I was gonna slip at a great height and then fall down and break my neck

    what about the way the elite athletes do? it seems like they extend their legs in a seated position and just slide down stoping with their hands. how come they don't burn their palms? thank you. I appreciate your video and your outbox thinking

      That is a really tough way to do it that involves LOTS of practice (and a very high pain tolerance). I'm currently working on it myself!

    Is there another option ? I do this barefoot so getting down that way would hurt

    I did rope climb today for the second time. I wish i saw this before i went to class haha
