Addictive! You said it.. I just started tying a couple months ago.. I have spent hundreds and hundreds on materials. I find something I like working with and then go crazy getting all the colors. I already have every color of marabou, hackle, buck tail, crystal flash, ice dubbing, thread and Chenille known to man lol..
Awesome video and channel. So proud that yall aren't afraid to talk about God in your videos! You've earned a subscriber for life here for your content and devotion to God.

First time to the channel, just started tying my own jigs and wish I has seen this video earlier. thanks for going and describing step by step. Nice video folks.
Thanks for a great tutorial! I just started tying and I made weedless treble hooks for some of my lures like Mepps and I am enhancing them. That whip does take some patience that God has helped me to make part of my life. You are so right that if we draw near to God...he'll draw near to us and the Holy Spirit will help us and guide us to get a more abundent life with less trouble. God's best blessings to you both!

Thank you both for your time and efforts on your video's. First time watching your fly tying jigs. I'm very into crappie fishing and enjoyed your highlights of the lures and trailers you use. Will be visiting more often and also looking into your links like Crappie Psychic for those trailers.
Barlows is my go to but I can run to Monroe to Toledo tackle and get everything I need. And I also love the cicle hook your hookup ratio is so much better

Good morning Gene! I’m glad we helped you some. Deanna will be doing another video soon on painting jig heads. Thank you for watching and supporting our channel. Most of all thank you for your prayers!
Thank you for a terrific tutorial. I followed your instructions, got the materials, and made my first jigs this weekend. I’m happy with the results, hope the crappie like them, too. Would love to see you do a jig-head painting video. Thanks again!
Great video. My daughter and I just bought a basic toolset from bass pro and are starting to tie our own crappie jigs. Any recommendations on must-have materials and colors? We started with chartreuse and pink, her favorites.
Basic colors, you already have pink and chartreuse, I'd get black and white also. Rainbow tinsel, chartreuse, black for the neck, and coordinating flash.. You can mix all those colors for different jigs. Those are a good starting point. Watch out though, buying different materials can become quite addictive. Thank you for watching, we will be doing other videos in the future.
Man, there really is an art to it and your gettin awfully good at it.i suppose it lets you be as creative as your mind will allow you to be. Great video, Iv'e threatened myself many times to do this but always leaked out when it came time to try...well now i gotta try.
Great video..just subscribed...just wondering what are the weights and sizes of your favorite jig heads? 1/32 #6, 1/16 #4, 1/8 #2? Thanks. God Bless you.
Thanks for the video. I am also interested in getting into this as a hobby. Was wondering if Deanna has considered teaching jig tying classes in person. She seems to have the patience and personality for it. Also thanks for the shoutout to God for blessing your marriage. We will definitely be contacting you to book a trip soon. Thanks again, John Eldridge.
Your welcome! She has given pointers and advice but really doesn’t have the time to teach classes. Thank you for watching and definitely give us a shout if you ever want a trip to Toledo Bend. You can find us on FB under Toledo Bend Fish Hounds Guide Service. We also have cabins available

I just started tying my own Croppie jigs like to see what colors you like that helps out a lot with somebody just starting out . I live in Rayne Louisiana near Lafayette and I fish the Henderson basin a lot and looking forward to going to Toledo been and start fishing there maybe run across you one day or fish with you on your guide service that would be cool 👍🏻

We have cabins and a private boat launch if you bring your own boat. Give us a shout when your headed this way I will help you anyway I can.
I have the same wooden work station from Bass Pro Shoppe. It’s pretty nicely set up. Mine didn’t come with a vise. I think you have a Regal vise. About a $500 vise there, but with the volume you did, or so, sure makes sense. Awesome video.
@@terrybowers4192 Where did you find the brand is Terra? I can’t find a brand name on it. I just assumed it was White River since it came with the work station
Hello my name Bubba I wanted to say I like this video a lot I'm trying to tie jigs to for myself. How do you find your chinelle? I live here is Seattle and it's hard to find here.
If you cannot find a fly tying shop in the vicinity, you can find plenty of suppliers on the internet. Amazon, eBay, Janns netcraft, lure craft, havens just to name a few. Goggle search fly tying material suppliers and then go through them....
I've tried to view this twice and keep gettin' frustrated trying to listen to HER talk about what SHE is doing and having to try to hear around HIM saying something similar in the background. Just out of sync enough to create huge confusion. Had to view it in MUTE to understand. If HE wants to do the talkin' then why is SHE there ???? HE needs to sit down, shut-up and allow HER to drive the truck.
Addictive! You said it.. I just started tying a couple months ago.. I have spent hundreds and hundreds on materials. I find something I like working with and then go crazy getting all the colors. He should of done the video cause he want let you talk
Ya, she’s very competent tier. Doesn’t need all the background dialogue.
For better viewing, closeup is way more helpful....keep up your vids, just bring it close to us so we can see what you are doing.
I’m new to tying crappie jigs. Curious if you could explain how you tie in those crappie trailers? The thread won’t cut through the plastic?
When he uses the crappie trailers, he puts them on the hook. I don't tie them on.
Can not see any of the items in your hand!
I have watched this video several times. I like the entire video but the best is your witness to Jesus Christ! Amen!
